The classes were over at 6 o'clock in the afternoon, and it was night study from 8 pm to 10 pm. But the night study was on a voluntary basis. Long Yang didn't feel like going to the night study in the past; and now, he didn't need to do it.

He made up his mind to apply for the pianist in the café. The hourly wage was 50 yuan, and the month wage would be 3,000 yuan. There were still three months left before the college entrance exam. He could earn 9,000 yuan in total. He could use the money to pay for the tuition fee. There was no longer any reason for him to be Yang Yanli's punching bag.

Thinking about this, Long Yang entered the café.

"Master, welcome back." A waitress in an apron dress bowed to Long Yang.

"Good evening. I saw the advertis.e.m.e.nt for pianist outside the café and I'm here for it."

While explaining, Long Yang looked the café up and down. The café was cozy and well-decorated. There were only few guests here. On the stage in the middle of the café, there was a white piano. The middle class liked to go to such a café.

The waitress hesitated for a while and said, "Please wait a minute. I'm going to report it to the boss."

Within three minutes, the waitress returned. She smiled to Long Yang, "Our boss is available now. Come with me."

The waitress led Long Yang to an office and paused. She said in a light voice, "Go inside."

"Thank you." Long Yang looked into the office as the door was open. It was a big office with a delicate fragrance.

There was a white laptop on the desk. A beautiful lady sat in front of the desk.

"Is this lady the boss? She is even more beautiful than Han Sha." Long Yang was surprised. He raised his hand trying to knock on the door. But the lady raised her head and looked at him saying, "Come in, please."

After Long Yang entered, she pointed at the sofa, "Have a seat, please."

"Thank you."

After sitting down, Long Yang stated, "I'm here to apply for the pianist."

"Xiaoying told me." The lady looked Long Yang up and down. She curled her lips and asked, "Are you a student?"

"Yes, I'm a student from Shengye Middle School." Long Yang nodded.

"Shengye Middle School!" The lady was astonished, "The best middle school in our province."

Long Yang was embarrassed as he rubbed his nose, "I'm an academic loser."

"You are honest." The lady smiled, looking rather charming. Teenagers like Long Yang could not resist the charm from sophisticated ladies at all. Long Yang went blank for a moment.

But soon, Long Yang felt it was not polite. He immediately looked away.

The lady giggled as if she didn't mind Long Yang's rudeness at all. She asked, "What's your name?"

"Long Yang."

"Long Yang, can you tell me, why do you want the job?"

Long Yang hesitated before he answered, "I'll go to college three months later. I want to make the money for the tuition fee."

"What an adorable boy! I like you." The lady giggled again. "The customers here are all rich people. I need a skilled pianist."

The lady gave Long Yang a mild hint, and Long Yang realized she was rejecting him.

Long Yang was not angered. He raised his head and said confidently, "I think I can do it."

The lady was shocked. She frowned before she said, "I'll give you a chance. Go and perform on the stage. If half of the guests applauded for you, I would hire you."

"Okay!" Long Yang stood and walked to the lobby. With the skill of Piano Master, he was sure he could handle it.

"You are quite confident!" The lady smiled again.
