Rising To Grand Garden

"Obviously, I should follow this way, I really have no idea what's going to happen now, maybe I can find out something about the voice or about myself." Matt thinks.

So Matt started to track it down. Matt spent hours and hours straying and looking for a clue but nothing happened, for him, it seemed like he wouldn't move forward and just run around uselessly.

"If nothing happens here, it just makes me crazy with boredom." Matt thinks.

Matt stops sometime later.

"Maybe this way is just a distraction, maybe I should get involved in the dark." Matt thinks.

Matt moved left to the edge of the path.

"Okay, close your eyes." Matt says and jumps into the darkness.

Matt fell and looked back at the way out of light which became smaller and smaller until finally it completely disappeared from his sight. a few seconds later, Matt realized that a light was coming closer and closer.

"What does that mean?" Matt wondered.

Matt fell into the bright light and found himself in the middle of a light-soaked room. All around him, he can see pictures and excerpts of his past.

"Wow, what's that, my memories, what's that for now." Matt says in astonishment.

"These aren't just your memories," Said a stranger's voice.

Matt turned to face a shadow.

"How do you mean?" Matt asks.

"Don't you want to know who I am or something." The shadow answers.

"No, I think I know that you are the shadow to the voice of my dreams otherwise you wouldn't be here now answer my questions." Matt pushed.

"You are very smart." The shadow mocked.

"Do it." Matt says annoyed.

"It's like I said I've seen it all, but of course everything in my cage in your body." The shadow answers.

"Are you telling me you've been there all the time, why didn't you try contacting me earlier?" Matt asks.

"I've always been there since your birth, better said our birth, I've tried but you've never heard me but since you landed here in this world, it works better and better, meanwhile I'm not locked up anymore because when you lost your composure at the meeting, I got the chance to break out" The shadow answers and giggles.

"Somehow that doesn't sound so good it just makes me more worried, but anyway, I never had to imprison you so if you're free you can leave my body." Matt says.

"If I knew how I would do it too, but since I can remember so ever since, I'm already here." The Shadow says.

"Oh, I'm sorry, but what are you then." Matt asks.

"As far as I know, I'm a demon, and I'm not just holding my power, yours too." The shadow answers.

"I think you're confusing something, I'm a human." Matt says.

"No, no, you're not a human, have you never wondered why you can't remember your parents?" The shadow asks.

"No, why, my earliest memory is the orphanage." Matt answers.

"I don't know. I didn't know these memories were always accessible to me, maybe because of that." The shadow says.

"For what?" Matt asks.

"That's why I have your power, maybe I'm locked up here because of that." The shadow answers.

"Can you stop talking in riddles?" Matt says.

"I'm always talking about our birth, but actually we were both born separately, I was also born much earlier, to be exact, a hundred years ago, I was a guard of your parents and when you were born, they gave me the prayer to take care of you and so I was born again in you." The shadow says.

"So you just want to let me know that I'm a demon, don't make a fool of yourself, I grew up among people, I should have been quite different." Matt says.

"We aren't so different from humans, we just have a higher life expectancy and special powers, but also a very bad vein, what you mean is just rotten souls trying to cleanse their soul through the theft of pure human souls. This happens to all people breaking several taboos. " The shadow says.

I don't care what I am or not I would rather go back to school I have to go to Roy and complain about what the f.u.c.k happened at the meeting." Matt says churned.

"Yes, I know that you are pissed off but first we have something to do here." The shadow says.

"And what else is there to do?" Matt asks.

"It's time to let your powers awake and you should still learn how to handle them." The shadow says.

"There's no time for that I've been here for hours soon the school is closing." Matt is pushing.

"Don't worry, not even half an hour has passed in the world." The shadow says.

"Oh, then go!" Matt says enthusiastically.

"Then hand me your hand first." The shadow says instructing.

"You're just an informal shadow I can only just understand you as your voice is very distorted. " Matt says.

"Are you stupid look closer, as if you see me as an informal shadow you want to fool me." The shadow says angrily.

Matt closed his eyes and took a few deep breaths in and out to focus.

"Hey, you shouldn't shut your eyes." The shadow says.

"Shut up, I am concentrating, I think your power confuses my senses." Matt says annoyed.

Amazed, the shadow watches Matt breathing.

"I don't understand why he has already extended senses without owning his powers." The shadow thinks.

Matt opened his eyes and he saw no shadow. He really liked the new look he got.

"Where the hell I just landed in, it seems like a bad movie." Matt thinks.

The shadow had turned into a n.a.k.e.d demoness.

"Could you put some clothes on, please!!!" Matt says.

"Don't I like you that?" She asks.

"Yes I like the view but it would make things easier, what's your name?" Matt says.

"I don't have a name anymore. You can give me one." She says.

The demon snaps her fingers and was dressed.

"You have to show me the trick." Matt says interested.

"Well then what is my name from today." she says.

"Alexis." Matt says.

"Well my name is Alexis Fall." Alexis says.

"Nice to meet you, my name is Matt Fall." Matt says smiling.

"Now hand me your hand." She says.

Matt handed her his hand. She grabbed his hand.

"That could be uncomfortable." She says warning.

As she said that, Matt flinched in fright. He looked at his hands and felt an overwhelming force tearing through him.

"Wow that feels like crazy, I feel like I could move mountains." He says.

"I'll tell you how to use your powers," she says.

"Okay then let's not waste time." he says.

"First of all, you should know that the properties of your power is light and darkness, it is quite special to have two properties among the demons, the light itself is a feature to support your friends, but it also holds a lot of power. Darkness is the extreme opposite, it's pure destruction. " Alexis explains.

"Roger that." Matt says.

"You can use both to attack and defend, but the easiest way to attack with darkness and defend with light, because rest you should work for yourself because unfortunately, I don't know about it, I can only teach you how you use it in about the rest is exercise. " She says stupidly giggling.

"Not bad, I'm a natural talent, learning new things." Matt says determined.

"Well, try to collect some light in one hand and the darkness in the other."

Matt concentrated on gathering some light in his left hand and the darkness in his right hand.

Astonished, Alexis watched.

"Why is that so easy for him that's ridiculous, I've been training for years to use some of my power, he just does that as if it's a kid's game, it's fast-paced but also scary." Alexis thinks.

"Look, I've got it." Matt says pleased.

"I think you'll find the rest on your own. Another tip you can do anything with imagination." she says.

"I don't think so but I got it, how do I get out of here now?" He says.

"You mean how do we come out of here. come and hold my hand." She says.

Matt took her hand.

"I thought you couldn't get out of here." Matt says confused.

"I think I didn't get out of here until I had your power, now it's fine." Alexis says.
