Rising To Grand Garden

Chapter 13 - Rank Up II

Matt didn't really realize what was happening to him, faster than he could act Garry gave the two muscle shots the order to get them started on Matt. Dave made the start. He grabbed Matt lifted him up and threw him against the wall directly between the windows.

Matt fell to the floor and straightened up, he had little idea what happened and barely a second to catch his breath, already Joe hastened to him and stepped directly against his left collarbone. Matt could hear it cracking and clench his teeth with the short stinging pain. Matt felt his shoulder go numb and the adrenaline rush out. Overwhelmed by his thoughts, he wanted to raise his right arm to demonstrate his powers. In Matt's mind, he could hear himself thirsting for blood,

"No, I can't fight back now, otherwise it will be bloody, I don't want to kill anyone, not yet." Matt thought.

Joe clenches his fist, activating one of his abilities, powers up and hardening his fist with a layer of stone he created, through the energies of nature. Joe hits Matt's head, Matt felt the stone banging against his head he heard the impact, Matt felt his warm blood running down his cold head. Matt could see Gary smiling in the background. Dave also went to Matt and continued the attack with Joe. After 5 minutes they had no d.e.s.i.r.e to beat someone who doesn't resist.

"Okay, that's enough, it's boring," said Joe and Dave simultaneously.

"What the hell, my family doesn't pay you to disobey my orders." Gary says angrily.

"Yes, that maybe, but we aren't paid to murder anyone, and we should stir it up, so you told us to." The two answers at the same time.

"Whatever, it's enough if one speaks and the other shuts up."Gary says annoyed.

"Understood." The two say.

Gary growls angrily.

"What are we going to do with him now? Ask the two.

"Throw him out. Nobody should find him at first. At least he can suffer a bit if he doesn't die already." Gary says.

Matt leaned against the wall, half-conscious, sitting under a window. Joe and Dave to his left and right. When they got the command, Dave opened the window and Joe threw him out of the window into the yard. Now Matt lie's in the yard, covered with bruises and wounds.

"I have never been so messed up for a long time, why didn't I resist, no, I don't want to fight with anyone, I can't control my powers. What did Alexis actually do, she wants to protect me ... "Matt thought and finally became unconscious.

It took several hours for Matt to regain his consciousness, when he opened his eyes he realized that he is leaning on something fluffy and sees the sky behind a glass pane.

Matt realized that the pain was gone which he felt before everywhere. He tried to sit up but it didn't work. He took a deep breath in and out, but you still couldn't.

"Where am I, I ought to be in the yard." Matt thinks.

"Are you awake Matt?" Asks a familiar voice.

"Somehow I know the voice, but shouldn't the person involved be shy and talk quietly." Matt thinks.

"Hello, Matt!!! You should already be able to speak." The familiar voice says amused.

"Yes, I'm awake." Matt answers.

"Well. Elios help him sit down. "The familiar voice says

The fluffy something starting to move and straightened him up. When he sat up, he looked Dahlia in the face.

"Hey Dahlia, I didn't think it really was you." Matt says and giggles.

"Good morning or better said noon." Stutters Dahlia softly.

Matt nods confusedly.

"What's up, just now you've become less confident." Matt says.

"To close." She says quickly.

Matt and Dahlia sat directly across, one arm's length away. She moved a little further away to escape the unpleasant situation.

"It's better." She says.

"OK. Tell me how did I get here. "Matt asks.

"I found you unconscious in the yard and then brought you to the greenhouse with Elion's help. Dahlia answers.

"Did you take care of my wounds?" Matt asks.

"No, which wounds, you were just unconscious." Dahlia answers.

"Alexis!!!" cries Matt.

"No. I'm Dahlia, you already forgot that. "Dahlia says.

"No I don't, thanks, for bringing me here. She's my ... my... how should I say? Guard or something." Matt says

Dahlia looks confused at Matt.

"If I can just get her out against her will." Matt thinks.

Matt concentrated on his inner to search for Alexis.

"What are you doing?" Dahlia asks.

"Wait a minute, you'll see right away." Matt says.

Matt extended his right hand and held his hand slightly above the floor. He searched for a while and noticed a weak heartbeat.

"What's wrong with her? That must be her, right? I'm trying to get her out. "Matt thinks.

In the beginning it didn't work and he released only unnecessary energy, which he already missed anyway. It was a force-distorting process but after a short while he managed to summon her. Alexis appeared, but wasn't awake.

"Who is this and why is she sleeping?" Dahlia asks.

"She doesn't sleep, she is unconscious. I'll explain later I have to do something about her unconsciousness first. "Matt answers.

"Didn't Alexis mentioned anything that I can use my light powers to protect myself or something like that. Maybe I can cure her just like that. Should actually go as long as I can imagine." Matt thinks.

Matt knelt down to the left of Alexis, his left hand gently resting on Alexis's stomach.

"What now." Dahlia says.

"I don't remember you so talkative. You'll see. "Matt says and giggles.

Matt closed his eyes and imagined Alexis surrounded by a cloak of light. He opened his eyes again and his imagination came true. He could feel some of his energy leaving him and walking directly into the cloak, then off the cloak and into the interior where Alexis was. The cloak flashed briefly, then it lost its shine and flaked off like ashes are blown by the wind.

"I hope it's enough, I don't have more energy left." Matt says.

"I think so, didn't you exaggerate a bit." Dahlia says surprised.

Matt looks at her in confusion. He didn't know how to deal with his energy yet, he had no idea how strong or weak he was and he hadn't felt anything comparable.

"What she means, I've used almost all my remaining energy and I know that's what I have in the maximum, that wasn't much. I guess most of them have twice as much energy available. I guess Gary and his henchmen I ran into too, so I should train as fast as possible. I don't know yet, but I can just ask Alexis. I don't want to be hit like that again." Matt thinks.

"Wait a moment. Since when can you do that? I thought you were a human? "Dahlia asks.

"Today...." Matt answers.

"I'm glad for you, now you're even more here." Dahlia interrupted Matt with a smile.

"Thanks." Matt says with a smile.

The two sit in silence for a few minutes until they realize that Alexis slowly wakes.
