Rising To Grand Garden

Chapter 8 - Awakening III

Matt walks through the hallway to the headmaster's office.

He knocked on the office before he enters, he faces the secretary.

"Good morning Matt." Miss Moon says.

"Good morning, is the Headmaster in the office?" Matt asks.

"Yes, he has just arrived." she replies.

Matt enters the headmaster's office.

"Good morning Matt." Roy says.

"Good morning Roy." Matt says

"I have a small concern." Matt says

"So, what's going on?" Roy says.

"I had a pretty real dream last night, I was back where I was after my death, but this time I didn't hear the voice that saved me but another." Matt explained.

"Okay, and where is the problem?" Roy asks.

"It's just that I couldn't understand everything the voice said because it was very distorted, it meant that I should release it and why I locked it up, it didn't respond to my words, what does that mean?" Matt says.

"Never heard about something, I'm gathering some Information and if I know more, I'll tell you." Roy says.

The bell is ringing.

"Alright." says Matt.

"Now go to class or you'll miss something." Roy says.

"Goodbye." Matt says with a smile

"Goodbye," Roy says.

When Matt left the office. Roy turned in his chair and looked out the window.

"It's faster than I thought, it looks like he doesn't need help to awaken his powers, let's see how long it will take, but at such an early stage of awakening, he shouldn't hear the voice of his Buddy. Weird." Roy thinks.

When Matt was back in the hall, he went to the classroom. After he reached the first floor he met Michael who was about to go to the student council office.

"Hi Michael, what are you doing here?" Matt asks.

"I just went to my class to pick up lesson material so I wouldn't miss anything " Michael says.

"Ah okay, I didn't know, thought that the students from the council are still sitting in the class." Matt says.

"It isn't necessary to force if you have good grades." Michael says.

"Sounds pretty relaxed, what do you need to get into the student council?" Matt asks.

"Of course, not everyone can come in. You have to have at least the rank A+ you have to be recommended by at least 3 teachers with rank A or higher and of course good grades. a simpler way would be the head of the student council recommends you then even someone can join the council with rank A. " Michael explains.

"Then I'll never come to the student council." Matt says.

"Who knows maybe faster than you think?" Michael says determinedly.

"You seem pretty sure about that, can you look in the future or what?" Matt asks.

"No, I just feel that way." Michael answers.

"Wow, I'm confused," Matt says, apparently confused.

"No reason to, you'll see if my heart says so then I'm right." Michael says.

"Whatever, I have to go on to class now. I'm late." Matt says.

"Yes, I have to go on, we'll meet at the school meeting after the second lesson." Michael says.

"Which school meeting? I thought he'll tell us when it will take place today." Matt asks.

"Yes, just who said that it can't be today." Michael says.

"F**k...." Matt says quietly.

Michael goes down the stairs and disappears on the ground floor.

Matt continues up the stairs to the third floor.

"Oh man, what a day it can only get better." Matt thinks.

Matt reached the classroom and entered. As he sits down in his seat, the speaker cracked.

"Good day dear student, your headmaster is speaking. Today after the second lesson is a school meeting please come to the theater, Matt Fall please come to the stage before the meeting begins, thank you for your attention." Roy says.

The two hours of math lesson were almost over, Matt answered and asked if he could leave because he had to be there before the school meeting. His teacher agreed that the only problem was that he didn't know where he has to go.

"Mr. Bloom could someone accompany me who knows where to go to the theater, unfortunately, I don't know where it is." Matt asks.

"Okay, Gary gets up and show Matt where he needs to go, then you can sit down and wait until it starts." Mr. Bloom answers.

"Will be done," Gary says.

"Let's go, go ahead." Matt says.

"Follow me." Gary says.

The two left the classroom and headed up the stairs.

"You are the new one, why should you come to the stage?" Gary asks.

"I don't know either." Matt says.

"Understand. What is your power? "Gary asks.

"I don't have any." Matt answers.

"How do you mean that?" Gary asks.

"As I said it" Matt answers

"Okay, that's rare, you know that our school is just the elite, that means you have to either be gifted as an athlete or have extremely good grades, so what else do you have." Gary says.

"Good to know, but I'm not really talented in any sport and I haven't had the best grades so far." Matt says.

"Maybe your talent is just luck." Gary says haughtily

"Dumb*ss." Matt says.

"What did you say?" Gary says.

"I said Dumb*ss, didn't you hear right?" Matt says annoyed.

"How do you talk to me, don't you know who you have here before you." Gary says angrily

"Doesn't look like it." Matt says

"How dare you treat me so disrespectfully." Gary says.

Gary stopped and glared at Matt.

"I don't have time for such a fool, do you think I'm scared of you just because you're staring at me so stupid, I really don't care who you are and who your family is that's even less effective. why should I respect someone who doesn't show me any respect and tries to put himself above me." Matt says calmly.

"I will show you cripple what you get for it." Gary says angrily.

"Go on, I have no time for that, or I have to apologize for being late and have to tell them it was your fault because you wasted time." Matt says.

"You'll see, go on." Gary says reassured.

The two started to move on. To get into the theater they had to walk into the courtyard and had to walk around the infirmary. The theater is a tall round ornate building with some figures of creatures and humans. The two didn't talk to each other since the little argument. they went straight and quickly there. After a while, they arrived at the theater. They entered the theater Gary pointed to the sign on which stands where Matt had to go. Matt followed the signage and reached the stage where he met Michael, Roy, but also two unknown ladies, a slightly older one standing right next to Roy and a student standing next to Michael.
