Robot For A Boyfriend

Kaine scans Emily over and over until they sit down, confused as to what she has to hide and why she's so defensive. Emily looks at him, catching on to what he's doing, and glares. "Why are you scanning me?" Emily says, clenching her fist slightly. "You are holding back. I do not wish for something to repeat like last time." Kaine answers, scanning her once more.

Emily slams her fist on the table, the food tray and glass of water rattling. Kaine mechanically gasps as he stands back, appalled. "I can see that you need time alone. I'm sorry." He says, standing up and walking away, leaving Emily alone and pissed off.

After breakfast, Emily goes back to the workshop, slamming the door behind her. 5 hours easily pass as Emily works hard on her project, nearly finished with it, as a pound on the door rattle through the room. Still upset from this morning's events, Emily huffs over to the door, nearly ripping it off its hinges.

Emily stares at a scared Trevor, not realizing the extent up her anger as Kaine had described to him moments ago. "Hey, uh, it's time for dinner." He says before quickly running away. As he starts to turn the corner, Emily holds out her hand and a bolt of lighting fires, tasing Trevor to the ground.

"W-what the heck...." Trevor says in pain, unable to move his legs and arms. Emily chuckles as she walks over to him and takes off a device on her wrist. "I made a little tool to help me succeed in battle. Just needed a guinea pig to test it." She smiles, starting to walk back to the shop. "It'll wear off in an hour." She says before closing the door once more
