Robot For A Boyfriend

Emily goes through all of her classes with no worry. When lunch rolls around, she sits at the corner af the lunchroom and gets out her lunchbox. Emily had decided to make her own lunch today because she doesn't care for spaghetti. She start to eat and pauses. She notices that the trio of bullies weren't around today. She must've caught a break for once.

She continues to eat her food happily and notices that a tall figure is standing next to her. "Hello friend! My name is Kaine. I am a robot!" He says excitedly. "Do you mind if I sit here?" He asks. Emily slides over a bit, making room. "Sure." She blushes a bit and looks at him. He takes out a small box and pulls out a wrench. He starts to adjust some of his parts. He then pulls out a little box and hands it to Emily. "What is this for?" She says as she takes it and examines it. "Just for letting me sit by you when all the other kids ignored me." He says with a smile on his screen.

Emily opens it and sees a little plush doll of Kaine. "Aww, this is so cute." She says as she picks it up and looks at it. "Thank you. I worked really hard on it." He says as he starts putting oil in his joints. Emily picks up her backpack and slides the plush in one of the zippers. "Thank you. I was just trying to help out. Besides, it's not like the table is full." Emily says with a little laugh afterwards.

Kaine finishes his maintenance and opens his c.h.e.s.t and puts his toolbox inside. "That's pretty handy." Emily says trying to not make things awkward while she stares at him. "Indeed it is. Hey, do you mind if I ask you a question?" Kaine replies
