Cassandra opened her eyes slowly, but somehow everything felt different, no it was really different. Her vision was too clear. When she tried to take a deep breath, she couldn't. she is not BREATHING.

'no it can't be like this, am I died? Or am I dreaming?' she tried to pinch herself but her skin was hard and cold. Slowly and carefully she get up from her bed, in the midway she stopped when she saw her parents. Her eyes widened when she is gazing them, first their skin is same hard and cold just like her current state, second they never aged since her birth and third they are not breathing.

"look at yourself my beautiful daughter, you already grown up" king Dracula boomed happily, her mother's emotion was indifferent but proud filled in her eyes.

"mother what is going on? Don't tell me it's another kind of period for woman" she moved to her mother but her foot was too fast to her mind. Queen Dracula catch up her girl and placed her on the bed

"let me explain first. It's family thing, our family was always special" she take a deep breath and started "When you were little I told you about legend of vampire right? Who can live forever but with eternal hunger and it's not fairytale, it's true. My father was first Dracula and first vampire, he lived middle of the war and he needed to protect his family but he was too weak. One day he turned into vampire from unknown reason. He bite his almost dying followers and save their life and they won in that war. But he soon realized that vampires should be hidden for sake of nature's balance. If there are too many vampires they need to hunt and drink human blood. He was suffering because of that he couldn't handle it alone, luckily he found his mate and turned her into vampire, she became pregnant, it was unheard news to everyone. She was like a miracle to their little world. She was queen of all vampire, when she give her bless to some female vampire during her pregnancy they can become pregnant. Being a vampire was no longer curse. And their child born in this world, that child was me. I was born vampire so I had a purple eyes and I don't feel hunger. My parents told me that one day I would rule their world. On my 18th born day I changed into fully vampire. My strength, my speed every single sense of my body changed. I know it's hard for you to accept it but my dear you are very clever so I believe you can understand us" she looked up to her daughter's face but to her disappointment only blank face showed her, without any emotion.

Cassandra, on the other hand, recalling every single word of her mother and try to figure out her situation. She blinked twice and sighed, she opened her mouth and melodic voice escaped her lips.

"mother please don't worry, I understand and I will try to adapt in my situation" she smiled half-heartedly and turned to her father who is still standing there without moving like a statue "why can't we celebrate my real born day, I would love to try my new body" her father sighed with relief and loud laugh ringed inside of the room

"of course, let's go. Let's run I always wanted to race with you. let me tell you I'm the fastest one in this world, so don't be too hopeful" he hugged her shoulder and went outside. Queen Dracula just smiled to their way and mumbled to herself "well she is clever, it takes me whole two days to proceed everything" and she chuckled

In the forest, father-daughter pair having fun. In the end Cassandra became a winner in their little race. She didn't feel exhausted, she felt really powerful.

"father can you tell me how did you met with mother?" she asked curiously.

"in that time I was a mere fighter and she was noble daughter of grand foreign family. Every young men want to ask her hand but she refused all of them. One day she was walking around the garden, it was almost sunset. I would never forget that moment her reddish dress colliding with nature and her peerless face admiring the surrounding. She was enjoying her walk and didn't realize there were bird nest under her feet. Right before she step on that nest I shouted to her, I know it was really rude but I didn't have any other option, so I run to her and put my hand to protect nest. She startled and in that moment I knew I screwed up. But somehow her gaze changed, when our eyes met it felt like she is my everything. I was strong but under her eyes I can be so small, I was brave but in front of her I couldn't even utter a single word. After some minute she just turn to other way and walked away. Since the every single day we met there, but without saying anything. One week later I need to go to fight area because I was a top fighter. And in that battle I severely injured so I didn't go to your mother. Next day I went to there with my broken bones hoping she would be there.

When she looked me with that rage filled eyes I couldn't help but shudder, she then saw my wounds and run to me quickly. We never talked to each other but she was the first one who hugged me. that night we talked a lot, she said to me that how worried she was. From then I started to love her without hesitation. We were so happy but one day my opponent scheme against me and poisoned me on the battle field, I thought I was died when I heard her voice, after very long and hard change, I opened my eyes and she was the first one on my sight. I know I become different but my love for her grew even stronger. I was dying so she changed me into vampire, her parents accepted me wholeheartedly because I was her mate. I can't live without her and you" he said lovingly to his daughter

"father, do you think I can find my mate?" she asked a bit worriedly, because she think she can't forget Caius just because of mate

"of course, someday you will find him, but remember that you need to love each other without love, mating bond can't be strong. In the future you will be amazing queen just like your mother" he smiled and see her face which is resembling her mother's face with that purple eyes.
