RWBY: Fireborn

A/N Sorry for the last chapter, I had to do a quick update, because I forgot to add a title for the chapter! Plus as well as a late posting, I have I.R.L. things need to be done so I'll post when I can.

Logan could be seen laying in a hospital bed surrounded by two men and a woman nurse who was going over his chart on a clipboard. One of the men was wearing a red, tattered cloak, a gray dress shirt with a long tail, black dress pants and black dress shoes, with graying black, spiky hair, dull red eyes and slight stubble along his jawline. Qrow. The other is a man with faded blond hair that has two small strands sticking out from the top and blue eyes. His facial hair consists of a soul patch and small stubble along his jawline. On his right arm is a tattoo of his emblem, which resembles a heart. Taiyang Xiao Long.

Nurse: "Well from what we can tell, he's just exhausted from using his aura and semblance too much. He is in no danger, however, for his age he's quite the genius for being able to fight a beowolf. I can tell he has a bright future ahead of him as a hunter."

Qrow: "Still, I was the one who let that wolf passed me, when I was taking the pack out. This is my fault."

Nurse: "Hey, bad luck happens to everyone, don't blame yourself for it. Now, we will have to keep him here until he wakes up; Mr. Qrow, sense you were the one who found him, you will be held responsible for his discharge when he is giving the green light for leave, Okay?"

Qrow: "Thank you."

The nurse left, leaving Logan, Taiyang, and Qrow in the room. A few seconds pass as the men look upon the sleeping Logan. Then Tai started pacing the room, his thoughts going over the letter he received from Qrow when they were waiting for the doctor to diagnose what was wrong with Logan. Qrow, was drinking from his hip flask, watching Tai.

Taiyang: "Your sure he's their son?"

Qrow: "Yes, the crest of his has Aurum's hammer, Carmeli's Sword, and Melodia's Lily. Each was stylized in their way. You can't copy that easily, Tai."

Tai: " I just can believe that the Auburn Sword-woman and The Dark Lion King had a kid; But way send him to me? Ozpin or Ironwood would be better if they think some one is after them. But me? They hated me, didn't they?"

Qrow: "Melodia beat you because you kept flirting with her even after she told you stop, Aurum and Carmeli were going out when you consistently got yourself and Aurum in trouble when you dragged him around with you. Our team had to keep you from going to far, and you wonder were Yang gets it?"

Tai: "Right... I forgot, and what does Yang have to do with this?"

Qrow: "She has Raven's temper, your shitty jokes, and your wild behavior."

Tai lifted his finger and opened his mouth to refute. But stopped as he really couldn't as she did act like that, as she was constantly in trouble with Signal for fights and pranks. Shaking his head, Tai tries to get back on track.

Tai: "Still, why me? Ironwood and Ozpin would be the better option."

Qrow: "I thought the same when I saw that letter. But Oz has a lot of enemies and Ironwood is too busy to take care of him. They were dealing with Raven when he left, but she's not stupid enough to try fighting them. There was that they were being watched for awhile according to the letter, and sense he's here, they were after them from the start. My guess? Whoever they are, figured that they would send him to some one they trust and could count on. So Aurum and Carmeli sent him to you, some one they least suspect, on a little known Island with a simple combat school."

Tai: "Okay, that makes sense. But how did he faint? You saw what happened, what did he do?"

Qrow: "After that beowolf got passed me, it slipped into the woods to hide and heal. It found the boy when he wasn't paying attention and it attacked him. At the moment before the wolf hit him, he sensed danger and jumped forward mitigating the damage. My first thought was that he was trained well when I saw this from the trees. When the wolf charged him again, he dodged and got into a fighting stance, that mixed all three of theirs and held his own. He charged it and went for the leg to cripple it; but it was too shallow and got hit flying dropping his gun. However, he rolled with the hit and came up standing. The wolf chased him and he charged again, sliding between its legs to get behind it. He was hit a third time, but towards his gun. That was planed by him. As he landed and went to grab his gun, the wolf went for the kill. I got in front of the kid and before I could deal with it, he turned and punched towards the wolf. I felt his aura and semblance activate and a pillar rise up and in to the beast's face. Sending it flying and finishing it off. When I saw the wolf dissipating, I checked on him and he was fine, no cuts, no bruises, no marks at all. Then I gathered his belongings, saw the letter, found the cloak, than finally called you."

Tai: "I see... Still, this is all very strange. We should call Ozpin, he better know at least."

Qrow: "I did when I got here, he'll be by tomorrow to see him."

Tai: "Did you tell him about the letter?"

Qrow: "He wants to check it himself, as Carmeli was the only one outside of Aurum and Melodia she trusted with what her semblance was. It should clear up any doubt about his identity."

Tai: "I'll take the day off tomorrow to be here, I want to find out as well. I call in for a sub at Signal."

Qrow: "Go home while your at it, Yang and ruby should be getting home soon. Let them know i borrowed you to help me deal with a grim cave or something."

Tai nodded and left the room to make the call and leave. Qrow was left in the room with a sleeping Logan, wondering what will happen to him. Is he fake? Real? If so, what then? Sighing, Qrow took another swig from his hip flask. He thought it's going to be quite the day tomorrow.
