RWBY: The Phantom Of Remnant

Too stunned to even reply, Qrow continued to point at Magna with trembling hands. His lack of a reaction bored Magna as he looked into a nearby glass cabinet, using it to see his reflection.

He had to admit, he looked exactly like a male Ruby. His skin became a few shades lighter while his originally green eyes were a light shade of silver. Magna didn't even have to think about his hair because he already thought that the red tips were cool.

As he was admiring the change, he felt a sudden weight latch onto his arm.

With a loud voice, Ruby excitedly screamed, "Big brother! Quick! There's just one thing your missing! Come on!"

Giving the energetic young girl a smile, the pair burst into a shower of petals and zoomed up stairs. A few seconds later, they came down once again but this time, Magna looked slightly different.

Ruby had given him one of her spare capes, something she let no one but her family touch. Taiyang was the most surprised, seeing him wear her cape as he unconsciously muttered, "They really do look like siblings…"

Ruby and Magna looked at each other and laughed. The pair didn't know what it was but it just felt right. Standing there, talking and laughing with one another.

Suddenly, a mischievous light glimmered in their eyes as they burst towards the door in a cloud of petals.

Before anyone could react, the pair were already outside. As everyone hastily scrambled outside, they all simultaneously froze in shock.

In almost perfect sync, Ruby and Magna zoomed around the forest. They would rapidly dashed around the forest floor before racing into the treetops.

Petals fell from the trees, creating a beautiful illusion of autumn.

Taiyang even momentarily forgot his anger and worry as he softly muttered, "Wow…"

After a few minutes, the pair arrived next to their family, hand in hand. Everyone could tell that the pair grew much closer. Both Ruby and Magna were heavily panting as their faces looked flushed but that didn't do anything to diminish the visible joy from their smiles.

A light chuckle escaped Magna's lips as he slowly walked over to Taiyang and said, "You might want to take her to bed. She should be tired after all that running."

Ruby pouted. She was about to say she was fine when she weakly fell into Magna's arms.

Magna flickered her head gently as he happily said, "We had our fun, Ruby. Just rest for now."

Taiyang gave him a conflicted look before he quickly ran inside to put Ruby to bed.

Once Taiyang was out of sight, Magna suddenly found himself pinned to the floor. Staring into a pair of sparkling lilac eyes, Yang moved way too close to his face as she excitedly said, "Do me!"

A smirk found its way onto his face as a familiar silver glow rippled across his body. Just like when he embodied Ruby, Magna's skin became lightly tanned as his eyes became a vibrant lilac.

However, the most surprising change was his hair. Not only did it become blonde with light gold highlights at the tips, it actually grew in length until it reached just below his shoulders.

Easily freeing his hands from Yang's grasp, Magna exploded with strength as he flipped Yang onto her back and pinned her to the ground.

Needless to say, Yang burst into a deep blush before breaking into a wide grin. Her eyes became a vibrant red as she started pushing back.

Magna could feel her slowly overpowering him but all that did was make him smile as his eyes also turned red.

Somehow, the force they were using to push against each other forced the pair to stand up from the ground as they continued to push.

Both Yang and Magna faces showed signs of strain but the pair continued to push as they had extremely happy smiles on their faces.

Suddenly, the pair were distracted as Qrow came over and harshly grabbed Magna. Yang was about to fall face first into the ground when Magna viciously punched Qrow in the face.

Actual rage painted his face as he freed himself from Qrow's grasp and quickly caught Yang. She seemed surprised but quickly got over it as she giggled and gently cooed, "My hero~."

Magna smirked as he cheekily said, "Well, I can't have you 'falling' for me just yet."

Yang looked at him in shock for a couple seconds before she burst into a happy bout of laughter as she hugged him tighter and screamed, "Brutha!"

Magna returned her hug as he yelled, "Sista!'

Qrow slowly stood up from the ground while nursing his cheek, "Magna, now that you've had your fun, I'd like some answers…"

Both Magna and Yang's eyes became red as they glared at Qrow, shocking everyone how in sync they were. However, a couple seconds later a sigh escaped Magna's mouth as he slowly turned back to normal.

"I did promise you guys answers, didn't I?"

Once they made there way back inside and got comfortable, Magna started explaining what his semblance truly was.

He explained how his semblance basically allowed him to use the abilities of others by absorbing their memories.

Qrow obviously questioned him on how he absorbed those memories, and Magna's reply was…

"Not telling~."

Needless to say, Qrow almost couldn't hold himself back from knocking some manners into Magna. However, Yang seems to have become rather… protective of Magna as she glared Qrow back into his seat.

Next, Magna told them about his second semblance. He explained that it was actually the reason why he didn't wake up earlier.

Everyone listening gained a look of understand. The doctor had actually informed them that Magna should have woken up a day or two later, not two weeks later.

There seemed to be a misunderstanding that it was because of the injury that Magna unlocked his second semblance but he made no attempt to correct them. I mean, Magna was still clueless to this day how he actually unlocked his second semblance.

After Magna finished his explanation, Qrow glared at Magna and said, "Magna, you need to attend Beacon. With your semblances, you'd be a great huntsmen. Your wasting your time jus-"

Emily cut Qrow off as she glared at him and growled, "Qrow! Don't you dare try that bullshit on my son! He's only a child."

"An extremely powerful child! Emily, his power is exactly the edge we need! Not only can he use the semblances of others, he can also use-"

"QROW!!!" Roared Emily. Her voice was so loud that everyone had to cover their ears just to try and block out the sound. The building even trembled slightly, the sound of creaking heard from the walls and roof.

It took a while for Emily's voice to die down but no one could focus on the echo as Emily shot across the room and slammed Qrow into the ground.

Pure and unfiltered wrath painted Emily's face as she wrapped her hands around Qrow's neck and squeezed.

Her eyes burrowed into Qrow as she harshly growled, "Now you listen here, you dusty old drunk. My son will live the life HE wants to live. If I find out that you or that 'wizard' try pull ANYTHING on my son… I will tear your d.i.c.k off and force you to eat it!"

While Emily was threatening him, Qrow tried everything he could to break free but failed miserably. Magna actually found himself stunned as he watched his mother easily overpower Qrow.

He knew that she was strong but this was crazy! Luckily, he knew what her semblance was so he wasn't that surprised.

Seeing the light dim in Qrows eyes, Emily angrily glared at him one last time before letting him go.

Almost instantly, Qrow collapsed to his knees as he desperately gasped for air. Emily just scoffed at him as she coldly said, "You've been warned Qrow… and don't you dare take your frustration out on my son. I WILL hurt you… nod if you understand."

Still gasping for air, Qrow coughed as he rapidly nodded. Scoffing one last time, Emily ignored the looks she was receiving from everyone as she confidently strutted out of the room.
