RWBY: The Phantom Of Remnant

After Emily stormed out, the room was left in an awkward silence, with the only sound being Qrow's gasps for air.

As he sat there, greedily taking in air, Qrow couldn't help but berate himself. He already promised himself that he wouldn't try and force Magna to do anything yet here he was, trying to force him to attend Beacon.

He realised that he basically wanted to take away Magna's childhood, something a person only gets to experience once.

Qrow was the type of person to do whatever it takes for what he feels is right. Magna, however, was different. It was plain as day that he would also do anything it took to keep his family safe but it was also easy to see that Magna still d.e.s.i.r.ed to live a normal childhood.

It was actually quiet obvious yet Qrow ignored it as he tried to force him to become a huntsmen.

Taking a couple more deep breaths, Qrow's breathing finally stabilised. He glanced towards Magna from the corner of his eye as he coughed and muttered, "Sorry kid… I forgot you were still just a child. If you want, training resumes tomorrow. You know where to find me."

Qrow gave Magna one last look before quickly leaving the room.

With most of the a.d.u.l.ts gone, Magna was about to leave when he felt a tug on his shirt. Turning around, Magna saw both Luna and Argo, holding his shirt with sparkling eyes.

Their tails wagged madly, showing how happy the were as Argo practically yelled, "Magna! Can you try and use your second semblance to look like us?"

Now, this was something that interested Magna. He had no clue if his second semblance would change his race if he decided to embody a faunus.

Luckily, the bond he had with the twins was rather solid at this point. He smiled gently as a silver glow rippled across his body.

His skin became slightly paler as his eyes became red. His hair became a golden blonde and grew until it reached halfway down his back.

Suddenly, an uncomfortable itchiness appeared atop his head and on his tailbone. It only lasted for a couple seconds before it disappeared.

However, Argo and Luna were shocked by what they could see. Magna had actually grown a pair of golden wolf ears and a large and fluffy tail.

Their surprise didn't last long as Magna suddenly collapsed to the ground in pain.

"M-My ears! My eyes!"

Magna screamed in pain. When he became a faunus, Magna gained access to the benefits of being a faunus. Nightvision, enhanced sense of smell, sight and hearing, enhanced strength and speed.

However, Magna doesn't know how to control said benefits. The enhanced sight and vision were currently causing him a huge amount of pain. Every little step that someone took inside the house was like a hammer knocking on wood to him.

The light from both inside and outside felt as if he was staring directly into the sun.

Magna's screams attracted the attention of everyone in the house as it only took a few seconds for everyone to come bursting through the door.

Once they saw Magna collapsed on the floor, Emily and Amber were the first to move. They ran to Magna's side, ignoring everyone else as they tried to figure out what was wrong.

With a pained voice, Magna softly said, "P-Please don't make so much noise… my ears hurt so much… my eyes burn… it hurts…"

Emily scanned Magna's body and noticed that he looked like Argo. She snapped her head towards the panicking wolf girl as she gently asked, "Do you know what's going on, Argo?"

The little wolf girl was a little fl.u.s.tered but managed to regain herself as she quickly tiptoed over.

"I think… Magna can't handle the enhanced sense of hearing a faunus has. Also, his eyes might be a little bit s.e.n.s.i.t.i.v.e since we also have enhanced vision."

Hearing Argo's explanation, Emily softly thanked the young wolf girl. She turned towards Magna and gently said, "You heard her right son? The pain your experiencing is from your transformation. So all you have to do is turn back to nor-"

"No!" Screamed Magna, cutting Emily off.

"I need to do this! Eventually, I may transform into a faunus in the future. I need to get used to this transformation."

Taking a deep breath, Magna winced slightly as he slowly propped himself up. Crossing his legs, Magna slowly tried to get used to the new sensations. Emily and Amber both had no clue on how to help him but that didn't mean someone didn't.

Argo and Luna quickly moved to his side as they gave him advice on how to handle the new sensations.

It took almost an hour but Magna finally managed to open his eyes, albeit slowly.

Glancing towards the smiling wolf twins, Magna pulled the pair into a deep hug as he hoarsely muttered, "Thank you…"

Magna's tail wagged back and forth, matching the pace of the equal as happy Argo and Luna. Suddenly, Magna had the urge to bite the girls on the shoulder.

It was very weird but he understood that this must have been what Argo and Luna felt. He still had no idea what it meant to bite someone on the shoulder as a faunus so he tilted his head to the side and said, "Can one of you tell me why I want to bite your shoulder so badly?"

Both Argo and Luna burst into a dark red blush as they became a stuttering mess. They turned their faces away from Magna and started playing with their tails.

Suddenly, Qrow said, "I'm not the most knowledgeable man but I've been with a couple wolf faunus before..."

Emily rolled her eyes and Amber angrily said, "Get to the point! We don't need to hear about your escapades!"

A small cough came from his mouth as he continued, "Well, they say that biting someone while young represents kinship, meaning they view that person as family."

Magna nodded as he already knew this.

"And a bite when they were older means they want to-"

"Shut up!!!" "Shut up!!!"

Before Qrow could finish, both Argo and Luna used their semblance and attacked him.

Qrow, rather easily, blocked the attacks as he said, "What? All I was about to say was- OH!" A sly smile appeared on his face as he continued, "Magna you sly dog… wait, if I say that while your a wolf faunus, is that racist?"

Magna just shrugged while the wolf twins glared even harder at Qrow. Taking their glare as an answer, Qrow awkwardly coughed as he apologized.

The girls huffed and turned away from Qrow. They weren't actually angry about his accidental racist remark, they just used an angry expression to hide their embarrassment.

Qrow could easily see through the twins facade yet he didn't call them out on it. I mean, what type of man would he be if he called out the crush the two girls had on a certain clueless boy?

What really confused Qrow though was the conflicted and slightly competitive look on Amber's face. He was about to ask her about it when a hand landed on his shoulder.

He turned towards the person and flinched. Slowly taking her hand from Qrow's shoulder, Emily softly whispered, "Leave it. She knows to wait until he's older."

Qrow instantly turned towards Amber with wide eyes as he mentally screamed, 'She's into little boys!?!'

Emily could easily see what he was thinking and slapped the back of his head, hard.

"You gotta remember Qrow, she just turned 20."

"I know that but… there's an age difference of about 12 years. Are you sure she shou-"

Emily cut Qrow off as she said, "It's fine, Qrow."
