Sasha's Dream

Though Sasha imagined Doko when she was in her world, she couldn't recognise him when she first saw him with her own eyes in her dream world. Of course there were several reasons behind it. First of all, Doko looked very different from how she imagined him to be. Sasha imagined Doko as a beast. But, in her dream world, he looked like a human with two long ears over his head and a long tail. His hair, tail and ears were blue but his eyes were golden yellow. He also had a black crystal tied to a black collar around his neck and there was  a fluffy coat of fur which covered his c.h.e.s.t and half of his back. His arms were covered with deep blue fur and his feet looked like those of a beast.



Sasha was thinking about it when she and Doko were sitting before the river comfortably. Sasha finally said,"This place is amazing!"

Doko admitted that it was true and added,"This is just the start. Wait till you see the other wonders of this land. I'm sure you'll like them, too. Specially the 'White Forest'. I know it will charm you the most."

Moments after, a strange wind started to blow.

"What is this wind?" Sasha asked.

"Just wait and see,"said Doko with an air of confidence.

And then all on a sudden, the speed of the wind became intense and over the river, a pure light started to glow before them. Sasha found the scene very familiar but she couldn't figure out what it actually was.

Slowly they could see that a shape of a fairy was forming and finally, the wind disappeared and the fairy flew towards them.

" Hey, Lily, how are you doing?" Doko said.

"I'm fine. Who is this being?" Said the fairy which was addressed 'Lily'.

"This is Sasha. She says that she comes from another world. So, I took her as a guest and was showing her around."

Then Doko turned to Sasha and explained, "Sasha, this is Lily, the highest leader of our land."

Hearing his words, Sasha understood instantly why she found the fairy so familiar. When she was in her hated world, she imagined herself as the highest leader. But, what she never imagined was that her name would be Lily.

Sasha couldn't say anything. She was spell bound and, kept on staring at Lily. The grass green fairy dress and grass green glossy wings left her wondering how pure the pale as crystal fairy looked. Lily had no mouth but still, both of them could hear what she was saying. That was one of the best reasons why Sasha was unable to reply.



Lily seemed a bit uncomfortable. Though she was only trying to defend her land, she sounded a bit harsh when she said, "I thought I told you to be careful."

Sasha was shocked as she kept on listening...

"You know how many times our land had been attacked, don't you?"

Finally Sasha asked, "what do you mean?"

Lily then explained, "For years now our land has been being attacked by numerous deadly creatures such as 'rain bugs', 'land spirits' and so on. That's why we are always cautious of outsiders."

Doko took Sasha's side and replied, "I know she isn't dangerous. She is a very nice being. So, I took her in."

Sasha should have been glad when she had heard Doko say such nice words. But, she couldn't help but think about what Lily said. She couldn't accept the fact that her dream world had been attacked. She never imagined that to happen. Things started to get hazy for her. She started to doubt if it actually was her d.e.s.i.r.ed land.

Doko noticed Sasha being too quiet all on a sudden. So, he turned at her and patted her shoulder. Sasha was surprised to feel something warm on her shoulder after a long brooding over. Then she noticed that the warmth belonged to Doko.

Doko gave her a gentle look and said in a soft and convincing tone," It's okay, Sasha. No matter what happens, I'll protect you."
