SASUKE: Rebuilding The Uchiha Clan

"Hey, Shizune-chan! How about we go on a date today?"

"Not today Kakashi, I'm way too busy right now" replied Shizune with clear impatience on her face.

"But this is the 34th time you've rejected my invitation using that same excuse from the 89 times I've invited you. Moreover you seem quite free to me since you're not in the Hokage building and instead you're just strolling around the village" Said Kakashi giving his signature eye smile.

~sigh~ "next time I'll accept OK? But for now let me go since I'm looking for lady Tsunade" seeing how Kakashi wouldn't let her go so easily, she had to compromise a bit.

~huh?~ "she's escaping her duties again? But that's normal, so why are you so worried about it?" He was curious as to why Shizune would appear so worried for something so trivial.

"but she has been responsible lately, and as long as she's inside the village she's easy to find since there aren't that many places to drink or gamble, but she's in none of them"

Kakashi thought for a moment and told her "last night during the party she was with Sasuke and I saw him leave carrying her completely drunk, maybe you should go ask him".

"Really?!, thank you, I'll go look for him now!" after saying that she ran away towards Sasuke's house.

Kakashi seeing her leaving shouted "wait! What about the date?!", she shouted back " another day!" and disappeared from his sight.

Kakashi was left behind scratching the back of his head thinking 'she'll probably go back on her word, she's better than me at giving excuses and will surely come up with a convincing one at that time' ~sigh~

Not being the first time Shizune went looking for Sasuke, she just entered his house confidently and started checking the rooms, looking for Tsunade.

She was thinking that she must be having a hangover and was still staying there, but she didn't find her anywhere.

She decided to check Sasuke's room to see if he was present and ask him the whereabouts of Tsunade.

Opening the door and peeking her head inside she was left with her mouth hanging open, but didn't stop looking and wouldn't even blink to engrave the sight into her brain.

Sasuke was laying there sprawled on the bed without anything to cover him, not even a single piece of cloth.

But following the direction of Shizune's sight, it was completely focused on his little brother, which was like any other morning, standing proudly basking in the sunlight.

Shizune unconsciously made a loud gulping sound which caused Sasuke to awaken.

He lazily opened his eyes and stretched. Looking around, he didn't find Tsunade who was supposed to be sleeping next to him.

He noticed a presence near the door and saw Shizune covering her red face and peeking at him between her fingers.

"What are you doing here Shizune? Did Tsunade send you to call me or something?" He said with a yawn, not paying attention to his current n.a.k.e.d state.

"Sa sa Sasuke-kun, can you put some clothes on first?" She said stutteringly.

It was only at this moment that he looked at his body and realized he was wearing nothing. He smirked and asked "you don't like the sight? You've been looking at my body for a while now between your fingers"

She was alarmed and got out of the room closing the door behind her "I I I wasn't looking! Anyway just get dressed so we can talk!" Her face was red like a tomato, completely embarrassed for being found out peeping at him.

After a short moment Sasuke walked out of his room in his clothes and asked Shizune "so do you need something? Or came just to see me n.a.k.e.d?"

"Stop it with that already! It wasn't on purpose!" She was really fl.u.s.tered at what happened 'what if he tells other people what I did?'.

"OK enough teasing, down to business, what do you need me for?".

"I heard you were with lady Tsunade yesterday, do you know where she is?, there is a lot of work to do and she disappeared completely" Shizune had a worried expression as she talked.

'So she ran away, I should have expected it, she always runs away whenever she has a problem...' thinking about it he decided to distort the facts a bit.

"She probably ran away because of a fight we had, the discussion was quite intense and she'll probably need some time alone, so give her a bit of time and then I can go looking for her"

'It doesn't count as lying since we indeed had an intense battle last night right?'

"So it was like that?, ~sigh~, she really needs to change that habit of running away from problems... But can you really find her?"

"No problem, I placed a tracking seal on her already in case something like this happened, just give her a week or so and then I'll go bring her back".

"Thank you, I'll ask lord Sandaime to take over for a while until you bring her back. But I'm curious, why did you fight with her? You've never fought before".

After finding a solution to the problem, Shizune's gossiping mind was awakened so she curiously asked.

Sasuke sweated seeing her eyes full of curiosity and could only try to divert the topic, "nothing important, by the way, I've heard that Kakashi sensei has been courting you nonstop, when are you two gonna get together?"

"There's no way that's going to happen! I like responsible people and he's always late for everything! Moreover I haven't even seen his face, so how could you expect me to accept?!"

Successfully diverting the topic Sasuke sighed in relief and decided to thank Kakashi by giving him a little help.

"How about you just give him a chance? If he arrives late to a date with you then you'll have an excuse to reject him and make him stop bothering you".

Shizune thought a bit and it was indeed a good idea, "maybe I could try... Well, I must leave, there's too much work to do now that lady Tsunade is away, so see you!"

Seeing her leave hastily, Sasuke thought 'it's all in your hands now Kakashi sensei, maybe I should also tell him to not be late to the date when she accepts. Then I can extort him with that ehehe'

Then he made a hand seal and closed his eyes. 'let's check where Tsunade is. There you are! That's quite close, but she seems to be getting farther, not like she can run away from me anyway.'

About 60 kilometers to the east of Konoha, a blonde beauty could be seen walking fast on the road and carrying a big suitcase.

"That dammed brat tricked me into accepting his conditions! I wish I could see his face once he knows I ran away hahahaha" she laughed to the top of her lungs scaring the birds nearby.

The funny thing is that she's blaming Sasuke for everything when it was her who offered her v.i.r.g.i.n.i.t.y, and it was also her the one who started the bet which she lost afterwards and had to accept becoming his wife in the future.

"Even if he finds me, I can just say he didn't set a date for when I need to honor the bet and become his wife. ~ah~ it feels so good being free and away from all that paperwork!".

Meanwhile in the Hokage office, Hiruzen could be seen submerged in what it seemed like a mountain of papers, checking one after another with tears in his eyes, 'why did you have to run away Tsunade? I was so happy just this morning, enjoying my retirement...' ~sob, sob~
