Skill Overdose

Inside the chapel.

BANG!

"Damn it! This guy just won't give up!" Officer Dole was bothered with the terrorist.

Officer Dole and Inspector Wright were crouching in the bench to cover themselves from the shoot-out and the terrorist is hiding behind the altar with two handguns in him.

"We don't need to rush this. He is just one kid with two waterguns and we are police officers. Just think of something like that. He's already cornered." Inspector Wright said with a straight face.

"You... I don't know what's on your head right now." Officer Dole was confused.

"Come on let's go."

As the Inspector said that, they immediately moved.

Officer Dole moved to the other bench on the right and the Inspector moved to the left corner of the bench he is currently getting covered.

The terrorist was leaning his back on the altar. Most criminals would be feeling despair when being cornered but he just don't want to give up his life in a jail cell. He just need to kill these two police men and he's out.

He moved his right hand out and shot aimlessly at his back.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

While there is a rain of bullets from the terrorist, the two officers glanced at each other, then they moved forward without caring anything about the gunshots.

Officer Dole was the first one to see the terrorist with an opening in the altar and he became confident of getting this guy, but his smiling face changed in an instant when he saw what the terrorist was holding in his left hand.

"F**k! This guy has a grenade! Be careful Derek!" Officer Dole shouted as soon as he saw the terrorist aiming his grenade at the Inspector.

He tried to shoot the terrorist but he stood up and run then he threw the grenade towards the direction where the Inspector was moving.

BOOOM!

At the main hall.

"An explosion? Looks like they have some big problem up there... Even though you are here kid." The good looking guy said as he looked up.

He was crouching to have a conversation with his target.

"F**K-YOU." Ian said with a disgusted expression.

This is the second time he wanted to fight someone and it was 2 times in a row, but he can't move both of his hands right now because it was tied by a rope behind his back.

"Attitude kid. Did you know that our objective here is to capture you to our headquarters? Or if you somehow insisted about it we'll kill you immediately? But hey! Look at you. You are safe and sound." The guy smiled.

"I don't care about you. The police will come here soon and you all are f**ked." Ian said furiously.

"Oh really? What I know is that some of my guys were busy playing with the police cars outside,"

"You..." Ian said.

The guy moved his body closer to Ian, then he opened his mouth slowly and said "I'm only keeping you alive because... I'll be the one to play with you, your father, and his company."

Ian was surprised when he heard what the guy said and he became even more angry. He is getting more and more furious as he recalled what the guy said more than earlier when he was fighting the Inspector. He remembered that some people have been dying in his father's company for the past 5 years and he now know who did it.

Ian gritted his teeth, opened his eyes wide, and moved his head backwards.

The guy is confused. He didn't know what Ian is doing so he just watched him do something.

Then what comes is a headbutt from Ian. A strong headbutt.

Ian and the guy both have blood pouring from their forehead but they have different reactions.

Ian is still furious. It really looks like he would headbutt the guy in front of him until he's dead.

And the guy is just... smiling.

"HAHAHAHAHA."

The guy stood up while he is still laughing hard.

A moment later, his laughing immediately came to halt and his expression turned scary. It was like that he was ready to kill at that moment.

In the VIP floor.

'An explosion!? Looks like they can't help me for a long time.'

Liam finally stopped coughing blood and can stand up properly, but the terrorist that kicked him is still looking for a fight and is walking slowly towards him.

'I think he just used his skills. The one that he used to go behind me was probably "Dash" and the one that he used to attack me was the "Killer Kick", then the reason why he stood up from being unconscious was probably because of a skill too. A passive skill just like my Regeneration skill when I became unconscious. He have the skill called "Warrior's Mind" that made him go fight like a warrior and think like a warrior. He would only rest if he die... or if I die.'

As soon as he became calm, His thought is processing greatly and he became more focused to how to fight the terrorist.

The terrorist ran forward as he became closer to Liam, then he formed a fist to punched him.

Liam dodged the punched easily, then he moved behind the terrorist and jumped.

"Blade Hands."

He straightened his hands then he quickly moved it to the terrorist's back, then wounds and cuts can be seen from it.

The terrorist turned around and moved his hands slightly forward. His was also straightened just like the hand of Liam.

As soon as Liam saw the terrorist's hands, he thought that he also used the Blade Hands skill.

Their hands is fast that a person with average eyesight would never see where their hands are going to go.

They moved their hands towards each other and also blocked the hands of each other so until one minute pass they probably won't have anymore wounds or cuts.

One minute passed, the terrorist formed a fist and tried to punch Liam.

Liam duck to avoid the punch, then he moved his forefist towards the terrorist's solar plexus.

That moved was from the Assassination Technique that he just learned by absorbing it from the terrorist who he is currently fighting with.

The forefist then touched the terrorist's body, but unfortunately, he stepped back to avoid the critical hit from Liam.

As the terrorist stepped back, he quickly moved his knee upwards to hit Liam's face, but he blocked it with his hands, even so the hit cause him to fall on the ground.

Liam stood up and he saw the terrorist running to the side, then he stepped on the wall and jumped towards him with his fist flying directly towards his face.

He can't dodge the fist in time so he moved his hands in front of his face and tried to block the punch.

He blocked it succesfully, but the force was so strong that his head was hardly pushed backwards even though he blocked it with both of his hands.

Liam took a few steps back. After being hit his brain slightly shook, his vision became blurry and blood started to pour down from his nose.

The terrorist took the chance to kill the kid in front of him. His body suddenly became more muscular while walking towards him.

A moment later, Liam was finally able to see things clearly again, but what he saw is a bulky man in front of him.

"What the actual f**k is this?" Liam said as he looked to the terrorist.

The terrorist who was in the same size as Liam, a 178cm tall guy, became a head taller than him and his muscles became more larger.

"F**K! I THOUGHT I'M THE ONLY ONE WITH SOME GREAT SKILL!" Liam shouted.

Liam turned around and ran away from the terrorist even though he knew that he will still be followed by him.

While he is running, he opened the system with his will and looked at his stats.

"I still have so many MP!? The MP regeneration is really fast. Hm? I still don't know what can the Mental Boost skill do but I might as well use it."

Liam stopped when he saw people in the corner of the hallway were still running and panicking. He don't want any people to be hurt just because of his cowardness.

When he turned around, he saw the terrorist a few meters away running towards him.

He released a heavy sigh then he began to gain focus.

"Mental Boost." Liam said with a faint tone.

As soon as he activated the skill, his whole body released a faint glow.

Then his mind suddenly began calculating and analyzing.

"Okay. Let's fight now." Liam said confidently.

He don't know why but some his almost all of his entire mind and thoughts doesn't want to talk about the skill he used right now. He already calculated the situation he's in and he just don't want anything to do other than this advantage.

The terrorist is now in front of him, then he tries to kicked Liam and the ripples in the air can be heard again.

Liam jumped with his athlete skill and dodged the kicked easily.

The terrorist had kicked the wall and made a cracked in it then he turned around and an elbow was coming towards his face.

PHWACK!

It was an elbow strike from the martial art called "Bajiquan" that Liam have learned from the hand fighting technique and it was really strong.

The terrorist head was pushed back so far that it even hit the wall hard, but he immediately turned back and without caring at the wounds on his head, he clenched his fist and tried to punch Liam.

Liam ducked and avoided the punch, then he stepped forward with his fist aiming at the terrorist's face and it landed at his chin.

The hit caused the terrorist's bones to receive the force and the nerve to shook.

Most people would be knocked out and fall to the ground if they were hit in the chin with sufficient power and right angle and Liam did all that.

Liam then closed his eyes to rest thinking that his opponent would get knocked out in a second, but even after some seconds passed, he didn't heard a body falling into the ground and so he opened his eyes slowly.

He saw the terrorist standing perfectly with his one eye is still looking at him intently.

Then a chill ran through Liam's spine. He really underestimated a guy with a "Warrior's Mind".

"So a warrior really have a warrior's mind and will eh? Then... Let us both fight like a warrior." Liam said seriously.

Somehow he didn't feel any fright when fighting the terrorist anymore and somehow he just wanted to fight physically without relying on his brains more.

"Blade Hands."

Once again, their hands became faster than a normal person and began exchanging attacks.

Liam was hit in his arm but the wounds is not deep, his cheeks received a small cut and his left shoulder has been cut deeply.

The terrorist was hit and made a shallow wounds in the stomach, a deep wound formed in his face from his eyebrows to his chin and his right arm have a long cut in it.

In just a minute, they received a plenty of wounds then the exchanging of attacks began immediately.

They hit each other's body, blocked each other's fist and kick and received each other's blow at the same time.

After a while of exhanging blows, they finally stopped for the first time in a long time.

But this doesn't mean that the fight is over or someone gave up his own life. It means that their last and strongest attack will begin in a second that will decide each other's life and death.

Liam's Athletic has been deactivated for a long time since he decided that he would fight like a warrior but his firmness skill has been activated after exchanging blows to the terrorist.

The terrorist's is still in his "buff" form but he didn't made any signs that he used something that greatly enhanced his fighting power so he and Liam is probably in the same position.

Liam could use his Athletic skill at anytime but he just don't want to so the only thing he could use at the moment is the new skill he learned Fiery Punch. He don't know what use will it do but it will decide his life and death in a second.

The terrorist could probably use his Deadly Kick again.

And so the last round began.

The atmosphere between them became heavy and serious as they walked slowly towards each other.

The terrorist formed a wide stance and Liam clenched his fist and took it high up to his face.

"You're strong kid. Just like a warrior." The terrorist said.

Liam was surprised at first when he heard the terrorist talk for the first time he met him but he put his emotions aside and he just thought about fighting the guy in front of him.

"And so are you." Liam said.

After they exchanged their words, they immediately moved towards each other.

Liam jumped to the guy and aimed his fist towards the terrorist's face.

The terrorist took his right foot upwards and moved towards Liam in the air and the sound of the wind getting rippled can be heard from the trail of his foot.

In a second that Liam was in the air he furiously said "Fiery Punch!"

Then suddenly, his fist gleamed and a reddish flame formed and surrounded it.

Liam was shocked when a fire suddenly covered his whole fist and he was looking at it for a short period, then he immediately turned his head to the terrorist and focused on hitting him.

The kick landed on Liam's head as he came down from the air and his fist fist landed on his face.

BOOM!

A loud sound of a flesh being hit by a huge object can be heard from the whole corridor they are in.

Liam was hit in the shoulder to his head that made him flying for a few meters. He hit his back in a wall, then he began coughing a mouthful of blood. His vision became pitch black and he can't move his entire body but somehow his consciousness is still hadn't entirely dissipated.

The terrorist was severely injured. His body is in an unimaginable state.

With Liam's fist that contained a high amount of explosive power hit his face earlier, his face became swollen and broken. Some part of his face have a bulge in it and some part of it have open scratch, wounds, and cuts. You can't probably looked at it without puking. His old face can never be seen anymore.

The worst part that you would definitely know that his death was assured was that the wall that his head hit earlier had a spat of thick and red blood. His skull was probably broken and the back of his head have been sliced open.

That was how deadly the skill of the terrorist had. He would've killed Liam in an instant if only Liam had not taken and it and if only he could just remembered that he had that skill.
