"It's getting late Luna, we better get going inside and catch some sleep. You can just check out each other tomorrow morning. But for now, we have to go."

As he said that, Prince Long Yue picks his cat carefully and hug it in his arms.

Seeing that the cute little black cat had no intention of living, he patted its fur head.

"I'm sorry to interrupt you guys. But don't worry you can see each other and play tomorrow. Okay? We got to go."

"MEOW"

[Tsss. This little lad sure knows how to get the best timing to spoil our romance as always.]

Janus badly wanted to pout at this moment, but to save his image in front of his lover, he tried his best to fight the urge.

He took one last glance at Luna and winked before he walks away. Leaving Prince Long Yue and Luna.

When he was not too far away from where the prince and his cat was standing, Luna called him.

"MEOW"

[Keep safe Janus. I'll be waiting for you]

With that, Janus perked up his ears with his body fat jiggling. He smiled from ear to ear.

The voice that Luna used held much anticipation and Janus did not fail to hear it from her tone.

When he looked back, Luna was already being carried away by Prince Long Yue back to their room. He stayed for a while as he watched their departing figure.

Even though his date with Luna was so brief, it was enough to fill Janus' heart to the brim of happiness.

He was humming in merriment as he walks straight back to their room. He was obviously in a good mood cause he even has the energy to wave at Mu Lingxi when he saw her brushing her hair in the front of the vanity mirror.

"MEOW'

[Hi there, little lass. How are you doing? Had a nice bath? Good. What's for dinner?]

He jumps straight at the queen-sized bed and finds the most comfortable position to sneak himself under the blankets.

He observed Mu Lingxi with a smile just like how a boss examining his employee do. It looks like, if he happens to have an eyebrow he will even raise one of it to complete his "I'M THE BOSS" look.

"This spoiled cat!"

That is all she managed to said as she slumped her shoulders and glared back at her cat's reflection in the mirror.

"Going on a date at a first notice then asking food the moment he arrives home. Acting so in love and happy in front of me. Doesn't he have any consideration for the feelings of the single soul in this board?

Why do I have a feeling that I was an old bitter auntie raising a teenager here? Haixt!"

Mu Lingxi kept mumbling under her breath but her words fell on deaf ears. Janus did not mind at all what Mu Lingxi was grumbling in the front of the mirror cause all he could hear were incoherent sounds.

Besides, he was busy reminiscing his passionate encounter with Luna, and can't help but smile as he stared blankly from a distance.

"He sure was in love. Look at that silly smile plastered on his face? He almost turned his eyes into a heart shape. Tsk. My cat was growing fast. It feels like it was just yesterday when I picked him at the street as a kitten, then now he was all grown up."

"At least my cat found the love of his life in this unprecedented world. I wish him all the happiness."

"He even met his own lover a bit sooner than mine. Hmm, I wonder where I can meet my prince charming? HIHI"

Mu Lingxi giggled like a high school girl when the thought appeared to her.

"MEOW"

[There ain't no prince charming silly girl. The world is ain't a fantasy. But at least Prince is for real.]

"Tsk. Kill joy!"
