Mu Lingxi and Janus surreptitiously walks towards the direction from where the commotion was happening.

On the other side of the ship's deck, there has been someone creating a scene.

"MEOW"

[Woah! I can sense some drama was about to unfold!]

"You sc.u.mbag! Stay away from my friend! Leave her alone! Please! For crying out loud! Stop messing up her world anymore. Give her the peace of mind that she truly deserved!"

"No! Hold on! Let me explain myself first. Let me speak to Zhang Ya.... Zhang Ya... please... let's talk... I love you.. please.. give me a chance."

"Shut up! You cheater! My friend does not deserve an idiot and jerk like you! Leave her alone!"

"Shut up! You are just her friend. You don't know anything about us. Stop meddling about our affairs!"

It did not take long for a crisp sound of palm hitting someone else faces to reverberate in the air.

Apparently, the friend who was busy arguing with the guy seems to have her patience snap into nothingness as she loses control and slaps the man's face really hard.

To the point that her small hand left a red trace on the face of the guy. Her five delicate fingers were perfectly imprinted on the skin.

Duan Yue, the said friend, felt her hand stings a bit. But that slap sure stings more. She did not feel any remorse towards her action if there happens to be anything that she feels about it. It is dissatisfaction.

She feels like the guy, named Lu Chong deserved more than just a slap on the face. After all, the guy was a cheater!

Stunned by the sudden slap that he received, Lu Chong failed to react right away as he held his stinging face and look at his assailant with wide eyes.

Zhang Ya pulled her friend away, she no longer wants to make things more complicated. Her eyes were already red from crying.

"Duan Yue, come on. Let's get out of here. Please...."

With Zhang Ya's constant pleading, Duan Yue relented and decided to leave the man alone.

When they turn around and was about to leave, Lu Chong grabs Zhang Ya's arm.

"Zhang Ya, please don't go. It's not like what you're thinking. You know how much I loved you right?!"

Seeing that Zhang Ya was not totally avoiding her, Lu Chong continued his persuasion as he held both of her hands.

"Zhang Ya. Just give me one last chance to make things right. I won't do it again, I promise. Please don't leave me."

If people could see how pitiful Lu Chong looks like now, they might get fooled. He looks exactly like a harmless pup. With that beady eyes of his as he said his plea.

But Duan Yue won't buy this facade. This same man acting as the pitiful and harmless pup was a cunning old fox! He was a cheater! A womanizer! Guys like him deserved a special space on the deepest pit of hell!

Duan Yue was about to take her friend away from this farce when Zhang Ya finally raised her head and looks at Lu Chong straight to his eyes.

With a poker face and a voice devoid of any emotion, Zhang Ya speaks trying hard not to sob even once,

"Tell me, in what way have I ever failed to shower you with all the love and attention you need???? Where did I miss to do something just to make you happy? What have I done wrong to deserve all this pain???? All this time, how could you always say that you loved me with a straight face up until now while you were having an affair with another girl behind my back? Is it really that fun to make a fool out of me?????! "

She took a step backward as she asked her last question. Her facial expression never changes nor the tone of her voice, but tears were silently falling from the corner of her eyes.

Her appearance was so heartbreaking that even those bystanders watching at the side can feel her pain just by looking at her.

"Zhang Ya,... please don't be like this. Don't push me away. We have to fight against this odd for our relationship. Are you really that willing to just give me to her? Do you really think that I would be happy with her side???"

Lu Chong tried to reach for Zhang Ya's hand again but she evaded him in a reflex action. As if one more touch from the guy will electrocute her.

" Don't answer my question with another question of yours. Stop turning the tables and act as if you are the victim here. Give me the explanation that I deserved."

"Zhang Ya was such a character. She even has the heart to talk to that bastard?! If I were her, I would have beat him up to the point that he will be searching for his own teeth on the ground!"

Mu Lingxi can't help but get affected by the scene as she commented on the side. More and more people were discussing by themselves. As if, they were watching a live soap opera.

"I'm just a man Zhang Ya. Weak from temptation."

Lu Chong sure knows how to make his answer brief and precise.

Hearing that kind of trashy answer, Duan Yue's blood almost boiled on the spot due to pure hatred and anger.

When Zhang Ya finally turns around and walks away with her friend Duan Yue, Lu Chong was already lying on the ground.

Writhing in pain as his body curled like a prawn on the wooden floor.

"MEOW"

[Ouch man! That was savage! I even felt numb on that spot just by seeing her action. But in any case, that kick serves the man well. Such a pity, I can't help but wish to have some harpy take away this man with them... Cheaters like him deserve to live a life like a burning hell]
