Sorceress 101

After passing the examination, Mu Lingxi was brought to an isolated room. As soon as she passes the light barrier that seems to separate the hall and the room, a different place greeted her.

The moment she steps out, the gentle spring breeze c.a.r.e.s.sed her face. The wind carries a sweet scent of flowers.

The springtime leafage enveloping the place also had myriad of vibrant colors as tiny flowers were at fool bloom everywhere.

From afar, they were akin to a thousand jelly beans scattered all over the greenery.

Lifting her gaze, Mu Lingxi saw cute little pixies giggling and flying around in all direction leaving colorful dust in its wake.

Making the seemingly enlarged garden of the school look more lively.

The lush greenery is also divided by a shallow stream and even the sound of the water flowing through it sounds like beautiful music to the ear.

The water flowing through it was crystal clear that even the stones on the stream bed were visible.

Just by standing there and observing everything around her, Mu Lingxi already felt relaxed and delighted.

"This is Magus Academia? What a beautiful place."

Mu Lingxi can't help but gasp in amazement as she crossed the bridge because the bridge provides her proper elevation allowing her to further witness the beauty of the surroundings.

Crossing to the other side of the bridge, there was a pathway leading straight to the tall white buildings not too far away.

But to her astonishment, just the mere pavement of their school seems to be made from pure gold!

"This place sure was luxury itself!"

Mu Lingxi stared at everything with wide eyes.

On the other hand, the cute little black cat trailing behind her back have its paws itching from the temptation of bringing the entire pavement to a gold dealer to have it appraised.

It is a good thing that the pavement only leads to one direction so they won't have to worry about getting lost in the meantime.

When she arrived at the tall white buildings, the place was already crowded.

Standing next to its archway, Mu Lingxi saw a signboard hanging on it.

Using neat calligraphy, the word  'MAJIKA'  was written on it. Probably indicating the name of this place. From the look of it, this seems to be the commercial center of the school as various goods were being sold inside.

Cauldrons of al sizes, vials containing colorful liquid that looks like potions, books related to magic, weird-looking plants and beast were all available for purchasing given the right price.

It is more like a bazaar, as these items are being sold on the street side. If anyone was quite picky, of course they can choose a more classy store to buy their stuff.

Along the way, various emporiums were also erected specializing at specific goods. There were stores specifically dealing with artifacts; a store for wands and even boutiques selling stylish clothing were available.

"Pre-loved books for phytomysticology. No issue, good as new. You can have it for just 5 magic stones."

"Vanity mist, specially concocted by a yellow student. It can maintain your pristine appearance even if you fail to take a bath for one whole month."

"Who would someone be so lazy to even fail to take a bath for one whole month??! Stop jesting around! Take this product of mine instead. Dilute it to water and drink it, this will allow you to look dashing for one day!"

Students and merchants alike were conducting the sales in this place. Mu Lingxi and Janus were quietly observing the items displayed when a middle-aged man approached her.

"Young lad, this seeking hamster is a perfect pet for you. It can help you trace anyone without fail."

"How much is it?"

"Only 10 magic stones for you..."

"MEOW"

[Tsk! Let's see how perfect that mouse could be after I'm done digesting him. I wonder if he could still seek his lost life inside my stomach if that happens. Huh!!!]
