Spartan In Star Wars

Chapter 58 - Ril'ah's First Year 2 of 2 (Short and End)

Ril'ah P.O.V.

After about eight months Diesel began opening up to us. Meaning me and Sid. Diesel also began talking more telling some of the stories he had to put up with back from where he came from. It seemed after studying some of the "history" books he learned he was in a completely different place with no way of currently returning home. After a while he just seemed happier but you could tell he didn't like the peaceful nature of this planet and always brought up his concern to the now Queen.

At some point Diesel began showing different positioning and angles of shooting that would help improve my accuracy. Honestly, the training on Naboo seemed completely incomplete. I just felt so incomplete as a soldier and wanted to improve myself to be a warrior falling completely into a trance for training and taking advice. It was then I started sharing stories of the Mandalorian Culture to Diesel. Diesel decided he wanted to adopt this culture, he had no home and no place to currently return to. The descriptions that I told him made him feel connected to a warrior race that had no real requirements except for their code.

Interesting enough, he still felt indebted to Padme for saving him from starving in space alone. He would wait for his time and make his way to Mandalor. I didn't want to break the news to him that the Mandalorian people were peaceful people and the Mandalorian of old hardly existed. Padme was listening to the entire story with her Handmaiden Sabe. Here we officially decided on him taking the identity of a Mandalorian.

As the training progressed with the guards the presence of an extremely tall man in Black and Red armor was rumored to be in the palace. He became a guard of the Queen and trained the current Palace Guard. Most people didn't believe the rumors at first until he was shown in a Press Conference. It completely bought the conference to an halt, who was this man in black and why is he by the Queen side.

Queen Amidala never said anything and after that conference he became just a rumor again. Everything that shrouded him was a mystery to the people. Our goal or rather the Queens goal was to create a story for him and well constant talks with the Trade Federation that story would begin much faster then we wanted. The Queen never thought that the Trade Federation would set up a blockade let alone try anything that the Senate would find any disapproval in. Of course that stupid Queen was wrong.

The worst part about it was that Diesel after listening to the message that they sent one month before the invasion. Warned the Queen that this sounded like an excuse and they will find a way to make their demands come true. Man even I was mad at the Queen at the time and supported Diesel. At the time I couldn't believe it. I went against the Queen openly and supported Diesel. I wasn't sure exactly when but I started believing in him more then the Queen. My eyes began to open. I'd rather follow Diesel.

For the next month Diesel started training me on war strategies. He was pretty sure something would happen in the next year and wanted to start preparing for it. I was amazed at how many different strategies there were or rather how many there could be. It was mind blowing. I took this very seriously because I wanted to stand next to Diesel in the future as a Mandalorian and not cannon fodder. I started seeing how naive I was and how unprepared I was going to be. I decided at this moment my goal was to watch someone with the potential raise above a single world or star system. Someone who could bring a culture back into the light.
