"Of course~hahaha that's adorable. When you- haha- smacked your head into the table and then ignored the stream of blood running down your head, that was adorable. "You then had that straight- hahaha- face."

Antonin blushed, 'I'm adorable?'

'That's not a compliment dumbass,' Ryder rolled his eyes, 'if you had let me stay a bit longer, we could have gotten a better compliment."

'Hell no,' Antonin shivered.

Regan smiled, turning back to Antonin. "Your personality is going to take me a while to get used to but it's probably already growing on me, seeing as I'm laughing at your dumb actions."

Antonin grinned but then put on a fake smile, "can't you at least only say a compliment when you want to say a compliment? Why does every one of your compliments have to have daggers at the end?"

Regan shrugged, pushing away her empty plate and shrugging, "You've only received like two compliments from me so far, so we'll see from there."

"Wowww," Antonin rolled his eyes, "you weren't this fired up when you were eating my pancake. You looked like a cute little squirrel."

"Cute?" Regan's head snapped to face his.

Antonin flinched, realizing the words that had rolled out of his mouth. His hands raised to his mouth immediately and covered them as he looked at Regan guiltily.

"Did you just call me cute?" Regan cocked her head in confusion.

'Nice going genius,' Ryder sighed.

"Oh… um I mean like.. Um… you look like a-"

"In what way do I look cute?!" Regan scolded Antonin.

Antonin jumped up immediately and started stuttering unable to find words to reply to her, "I- I just meant that-" his face heated up, "I-... it meant- I-"

"My edges haven't been done in days, my eyes are so damned sunken they remind me of the titanic, the outfit selection her is tragic so I can't even dress nicely, I have no shoes on so my feet are on full display," Regan muttered, scratching her hair roughly, "not to mention my hair looks like a whole forest of creatures could live in it..."

"Huh?" Antonin murmured, "edges? Outfit? Fore- what are you even talking about?"

"You said I looked cute right?" Regan turned to him quickly, slowly leaning forward over the table.

"Yea…." Antonin inched backward.

"What part of me," Regan muttered, stopping in front of his face, "is cute?"

Antonin's pupils shook in confusion and fear. What was he supposed to say?

Regan stared at him, "It definitely can't be my body so is it my face?" she grinned when she spotted the blush on his cheeks. "Answer me, is it my eyebrows? Nose? Eyes? Or…" she smacked her lips, "my lips?"

Antonin's face looked like it was about to burst but right before she broke into laughter his face settled into a smirk.

Regan flinched, his answer sending shivers through her entire body. She was caught off guard, she had to admit it. But, she wasn't the type to back down, especially when she knew the person she was going against.

"Oh, really no-" Regan began, her words cutting off immediately when they met with his.

'Where is it?' Regan muttered as she searched through Antonin's eyes, her green eyes wavered, 'why is it so… clear?'

Antonin stared right back at her, his eyes locked directly on hers and simply let her search through his for a moment.

"I thought you wanted an answer?" Antonin chuckled, "I'm here waiting, so come get your answer."

Regan shivered again. Something felt wrong. The haze over his eyes wasn't there but he was this confident… there was something so different about this gaze that scared her, it was intruding almost... like she didn't have control anymore and was being breached by his clear light-brown eyes. She shook off the chills numbing her body and smirked back.

"How do you plan on getting that answer?" she asked.

"A little… touch would do," Antonin smiled.

Regan checked his eyes again. They weren't hazy.

"You sure you can hold onto that promise?" Regan teased. 'It is still Antonin… this is still Antonin,' she thought to herself, 'just a little more and he'll break. He always does.'

Antonin paused.

"Don't get shy now," Regan grinned. 'There it is.'

"No…" Antonin chuckled, leaning in closer to Rean, "I was just wondering if you'd hold me off if I decided a little touch wasn't enough."

Regan shuddered, completely shocked. 'Why… isn't he bothered? Why isn't he turning away? He should be blushing right now.. Why is he?'

"That curious huh?" Regan grinned, letting her eyes trail down to his lips and back.

"Will you give me permission?" Antonin murmured, his face so close she could feel his breath on her face. The hair on her neck rose.

"Do you need my permission?" Regan asked, "can't you just take it if you wanted?"

Antonin grinned, "I wouldn't want you to feel uncomfortable though," his eye fell to her lips, "I won't want to be the only one enjoying this."

'You already made me feel uncomfortable though…' Regan thought to herself.

Antonin inched closer again.

'Is he not going to stop…? Are we actually about to do this? No… he wouldn't" Regan muttered, trying her best to stay composed on the outside.

"What's the answer, Regan?" Antonin muttered, his voice low and chill as he leaned closer, his nose brushing against hers.

'Regan… so it is Antonin, he's going for it?…' Regan thought to herself, twitching when their nose touched again. Her eyes flickered with determination before settling again, 'if this doesn't work.. I don't know what will…'

She set aside all the waves of thought in her mind and opened her eyes, locking eyes with Antonin. She thought of giving up for a second and immediately shoved the thought at the back of her mind. 'This is Antonin,' she thought to herself, 'he's bound to lose. He's not capable of winning this kind of fight.' She searched in his eyes again, there was no hint of hesitation. 'Right?'

"Hmm," Regan closed her eyes and muttered, timing it perfectly when their noses touched. Her emerald green eyes gleamed when they opened, "...go ahead."
