Stardom - Logan Williams

Logan had scanned through all the memories he had of the previous Logan Williams. He now had a general idea of what encompassed the life of Logan Williams.

His father was a well respected attorney. A criminal defence lawyer. He was well connected. His father had an older brother and a younger sister. His grandfather and grandmother now lived a slow life. His grandfather's business was now run by his uncle. It was a construction company, one of the top 3 in San Francisco. His aunt on father's side was a well renowned chef who now worked in Paris. He had a two cousins. A brother and a sister. Both of them older than him. He was 16 this year and his cousin brother and sister were 19 and 17 respectively. His cousin sister was in the same school as Bella and Mia. While his brother was in a prestigious college.

On his mother's side though, he found no recollection of family. It was as if his mother had no family at all. He had a vague memory of a man looking almost same as her mother once, a year or two before his accident. That was it. No other memory came to his mind when he tried. It was as though his mother's family was taboo subject in the Williams' household. He would have to be subtle when asking his mother about this.

He accessed the memory regarding the gang which had been with him when the accident happened. They were his best friends. Gang included 5 people including Bella and himself.

The remaining 3 people included 2 guys and 1 girl. All of them were the same age as him. They called each other brothers and sister according to seniority. For example Logan was third brother. Eldest of them was Ryan Miller. His father was a CEO of multinational conglomerate, Sages International. Second came the princess of the Hall family. Emily Hall was the single daughter of Elvis Hall who was a partner at his father's firm. Hall family was deeply involved in politics. The fourth brother was Henry Davis. His father had a construction company.

All of them had grown up together right from kindergarten. Their families were close too. Logan couldn't wait to meet his gang of friends. He had already seen all the memories of how they had played together, played pranks together. He had only 2 friends in his past life. And both of them ended up betraying him. Although he was eager to meet his friends, he still had a layer on his heart due to his memory of betrayal in his past life. All of this would have to wait.

So much of browsing through the memories would do for now. He would have to ask his mom to get him a cellphone. It was a matter of convenience. He started browsing the entertainment world on his computer.

Time flew by, it was late afternoon and his mom came back. She was going to come home early everyday because Logan would be alone at home. The girls would come with their father later on. Helen checked on Logan, asked him how the rehab session was. She started in the kitchen trying to make Logan a few specialties.

LAS VEGAS

The Continental Casino.

Penthouse Office.

The Continental Casino came under the Capiteus International. It was one of the many investments of such a huge company which ranked 4 in the entire US. Top floor had a large office with hardwood floor. Elegance and ambience was embedded deep into the office. The office screamed of power and authority. At the table sat a man in his forties. His gaze overlooking the city of Vegas as though he owned it. A secretary and a bodyguard stood by the table waiting for their boss to speak.

A magnetic voice suddenly broke the peaceful serenity of the office:" Russell, are you suggesting me to revise the terms of the negotiations we are going through with Geovus?" The secretary Russell had his back drenched with sweat with fear in his eyes said:" President, Geovus is absolutely adamant about the increase of stakes in the joint project."

The chair swirled and Russell came to face a set of deep brown eyes which seemed unfathomable:" So do they get to dictate terms to 'ME'. Seems like I have gone too soft on them." The man had a playful yet scary smile on his face. Russell gave a involuntary shudder. With a evil smirk on his face ,the man said:" Increase the kickback on Geovus. They have to understand who the prey is and who the predator.... Russell, you can leave." Russell gave a deep bow and left as soon as he could.

" What was so important that couldn't wait Peters? Do you know how busy I am?"he asked his head of security.

Peters said:"Sir the child has woken up from his coma" For the first time the man showed his real emotions on his face, an expression of disdain and deep seated anger:" Did you not tell me that it was remotely impossible for that child to wake up." Peters looked at his old friend and with a complicated expression said:"Sir, it was one of those miracles that happened to the boy."

The man started laughing hysterically:" Hahahaha. This is good.I anyhow thought that there wasn't enough pain inflicted on that family. Hahahaha. Has all the evidence of our involvement in the incidence been dealt with?"

"Yes sir. There is no way for anyone to link us to that accident."

Swirling back to face the city again:" Good. Good.You stopped me back then to not inflict more misery on that family. This time though... hahahaha."
