Stardom - Logan Williams

It had been a day since Logan woke up. Mostly he kept to himself except for when he would ask the nurse questions about the current situation. Nurse Sawyer was quite young. Everytime she talked to Logan she got lost in his deep green eyes. Logan pretty much got the idea about what was going on. The city he was in was Los Angeles. The real shocker came from the fact that this was December 2009. The current date in his previous life time was 2015. Seemed like he had returned to the past. All the major events in the world were still the same. For example the terrorist attack on the WTC or the winner of the Super Bowl 2008. He would find out more details later on.

Director Jones came once to tell him that he should expect his family visit today. Logan was nervous as hell. He never had someone who cared for him in the past life. Only the Father of the Church of Joseph showed him some care but that was divided into so many orphans. He never had that unconditional familial love. He used be so envious about others who had it all. And now that his 'family' was going to come meet him he felt excited. Yet at the same time he felt apprehensive because he still hadn't received the new body's past memories. He had asked the system how much longer did he have to wait. System had just answered him that it would be today.

He didn't know how would he react to seeing some strangers as his family. Would he make a bad first impression on them? Would they hate him? In the end he decided he would just play the amnesia card and look blank until he regained his memory.

Helen Williams was standing outside the room Logan was admitted in. Standing against the door, she was in an emotional turmoil about what to expect in the room. She was obviously happy that her son, her baby had woken up from the coma but at the same time fearful whether he was really okay or whether he would recognise his family. Long standing comas played tricks on human psyche. Her husband put an arm around her and

said," Don't worry honey. He is going to be fine. He has always been smart. Logan is 'our' baby. He will definitely be fine. Come, lets enter."

Logan was staring out to the view that the VIP room offered him when he heard the door open. He saw an attractive couple enter along with two girls who were warm to look at. He quickly deduced that this was his new family.

Helen was looking at the frail young boy, deep piercing green eyes, and now that he was sitting in an inclined position she realised how weak he had become. She felt her heart clench with pain. How much had her baby suffered and how much more would he suffer during rehabilitation.

With hopeful eyes which had become hot now and were on the verge on tears she

said softly," Logan, baby, how are you? Are you okay? Does it hurt anywhere?" Tilly had told her that he still had amnesia and so she didn't want him to be overwhelmed by rushing to embrace him

Logan was really grateful that his 'mother' did not rush towards him. He would not have known how to react. He could see tears streaming down his mother's face when he did not respond to her. He had never found any warmth in his previous life. No one had given a rat's a.s.s about his life. Seeing his mother crying for him he forgot all about his plan of amnesia and words just fell out of his weak vocal cords,"Mum?".

Helen could not believe what she heard, she rushed forward and said again," Logan, are u alright?"

"I am fine Mum,"he said smilingly. Helen was struck by that smile.. That dazzling ,gorgeous of a smile even though her baby was weak without fat on his face.. This was her son, always smiling.. She couldn't hold it in now and started crying in Logan's arms.

Arthur who was silently watching from the side gave Logan a smile and said," Hi buddy. It's good that you are fine now".

"Hi dad." Seems like I am really good looking since my parents are so attractive Logan thought narcissistically. Helen was giving broken sobs now. Little Mia who was holding onto Helen's sleeve, hiding, found her so called mean brother looking at her and giving a blinding warm smile. She felt warmth from this person. She immediately came forward and giving a bright smile with dimples on both the cheeks said," Hello big brother. I am Mia." INSTANT K.O.
