System's Existence

Time passed by 4 years has passed, Sirius is now 9 years old. Sirius didn't slack off by his training, he put his best learning swordsmanship and magic by now his current status is not the same as he started. His status can now be compared to head of knight. His Status is now currently.

His status has increase leaps and bounds, Sirius can't be called child anymore. His status is the same as an ordinary a.d.u.l.t man, aside from veteran knights and strong magician maybe no one can beat him. But even with this Sirius didn't stop practicing. His swordsmanship is now comparable to a captain knight and his magic is now comparable to a 4th Circle mage.

Unlike the knight, the magicians are divided by 9 level. The lowest tier of a magician is 1st Circle mage, which often calls as Apprentice Mage, and the highest is called 9th Circle mage, which also calls as Magus. The level of magician defines how strong their spell was, there was a special artifact called White Stone which they will their strongest spell on it and White Stone will release a light. Depending on what color the white is that is their rank. Dim white is for the lowest and followed by, light blue, bright blue, light green, bright green, light purple, bright purple, grey and the last one is pure black.

Sirius currently has light green and that means he is 4th circle mage, which is not ordinary because of most children in his age should still be in 2nd Circle mage, and still trying to refine their way of using their element. But for Sirius, it is easy as a system he already what path he is going to take, he only needs to build his foundation and make it more solid.

Rudolf, of course, saw the huge improvement of Sirius aside from not having a real opponent to polish his strength he can call Sirius a certified knight. It's just a pity that Sheperd family is not a family of a knight if they are just Sirius alone can make his family's reputation reach the heaven. Ken also saw Sirius improvement, at first, Ken still can beat Sirius at sword fight but as time goes on he notice that Sirius is improving rapidly until Sirius catch to him and beat him. Ken can't believe that Sirius beat him, Ken started practicing sword earlier than Sirius but Sirius still beat him.

Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!

Sirius is now currently swinging his sword, even though he already perfected the basic of swing he is still doing it. The swinging is his way of warming up and as time passes by he is increasing the difficulty of his training that is why Sirius has the status as a normal a.d.u.l.t.

Rudolf was watching Ken and Sirius doing their warm-up, suddenly Rudolf comes to a decision.

"I'm going to take the two of you to Salgab Forest, in there I'm going to test out your skills to survive in the wilderness," Rudolf said with a serious look on his face.

When Ken and Sirius heard what Rudolf said they were stunned, Sirius recovered first and started looking at Rudolf with a serious face. Sirius thought what is that all about, but he is still excited about the idea. In the forest, he can find any target to get his first kill, and by doing that his skill will furthermore improve. After Sirius recovered Ken also recovered from his dazed look and look at his father intently.

"Father are you sure about this?" Ken asked with doubt of uncertainty.

"Yes, I'm sure. By doing your skill will improve. This is the only way to improve your skill quickly. By facing an opponent who is stronger than you!" Rudolf advises to the two of them.

Of course, Sirius knew what he meant, by facing an opponent who is stronger than you, the only way to win is to use your best and think of a way to beat them. Sirius way of thinking is not wrong, in fact, he is correct. But Ken was nervous he knew how dangerous the Salgab Forest, it is basically the home of many savage beasts. Each of these beasts can pose a harm in the kingdom, and now his father wants to take Sirius and him there. He can't stop the shivering of knees and then he looks at Sirius and he can't stop the feeling inferiorness. Sirius was rather calm after hearing what his father said, this time Ken understood that Sirius is far stronger than him in terms of strength and mentality.

"Uncle Rudolf, please help me tell to mother and father about this," Sirius ask for a favor.

"Can you just tell them that you are going with me?" Rudolf answer.

"Well I can, but I'm afraid that they will not let me. But if it's at least they are more secure than someone strong as Uncle is protecting us."

Rudolf can't help but to praise the child, the child way of thinking is far superior to any of his age. He is basically thinking all the upside-down of one thing. Rudolf looks at Sirius' eyes and notices that there is a sharp intent on it. This sharp intent is also known as sword intent, those who master the way of the sword have their own intent and this intent enhances their strength. He can't help but feel surprised that a nine-year-old boy is entering now near having a sword intent.

"Okay, I will help you convince your parent!" Of course, because Rudolf knew that Sirius is already forming his intent, Sirius needs an opponent who can draw out his potential. And the best way to do that is entering the Salgab Forest.

Rudolf manages to convince Steven and Emily after talking for almost an hour, Steven and Emily strongly object about Sirius entering the forest. But after Rudolf said that Sirius is already forming his sword intent they can't also help to feel surprised, they knew that Sirius is now currently a 4th Circle Mage because Sirius train his magic with them. Steven and Emily reluctantly agreed, they also knew that to perfect an intent one must find a suitable opponent. Currently, there is no opponent in the Sheperd and WinderForg family who can draw out Sirius potential, that's the reason they agreed.

After planning and packing their stuff, Rudolf, Ken, and Sirius went their way to Salgab Forest. Even though they are still in the entrance of the forest Ken and Sirius can already feel a suppressive pressure. But Sirius just look intently with a battle intent in his eyes and Ken was currently steeling himself up. Rudolf can't help to smiled when he saw the two boys.

"Now the two of you will enter the forest. Remember to help each other and not to get into a dangerous situation." Rudolf said

"Yes!" The two replied loudly.

Rudolf didn't say that he is going to follow the two, he knew that if he let the two know that he is going to watch them. Then the two will not feel the pressure and just going to wait for help if any danger arise.

The two look to each other's eyes and nodded, then they went together inside the forest.
