System's Existence

Salgab Forest is a home of many savage beasts, each and every one of these beasts possess a massive amount of strength that can slaughter a group of ordinary knights. But even they are dangerous humans still try their best to fight these beasts, by doing so they can help their own races survive and obtain strength. Aside from that, there are also the carcasses of the beast, each carcass is a treasure because a blacksmith can forge an equipment that they can use to fight the stronger beast.

Sirius and Ken are on their guards, their backs are facing each other. They don't want some beast to sneak on them that is why, but they are still making their progress in the middle of the forest. On their way, they saw a lot of beasts but they didn't fight the beasts, the reason is simple that is they don't want to attract other beasts. There is also the reason that fighting will create a loud sound and if they fight the blood will attract stronger beast, they want to avoid that all cost. The two will only hunt weaker savage beasts for their foods, but even by doing that they are still careful to no create a loud sound and they still watch their surrounding.

Sirius and Ken were training together for almost 4 years, and they both know each other's characteristics. Ken is always careful and does things carefully by exerting all of his efforts, that is also the reason why he keeps looking around to see whether they are being followed by some beast. Sirius is always curious, he wants to learn the things he doesn't know if he can't do it he will ask for help. That is also the reason why Sirius improve leaps and bounds and beat Ken which is natural for Sirius.

"Ken, watch out for the surrounding I'm gonna cook food," Sirius said.

"Okay!" Ken quickly replied.

Ken knew that Sirius decided to let him watch the surrounding to train his sense, Ken already knew that Sirius can sense the nearby surrounding but he still can't. He felt grateful because even though Sirius is already far stronger than him Sirius still didn't underestimate him. Children on their age tend to be arrogant and they think that they are the best in the world, one and only the world's best magician. But Sirius is different even though he himself is strong he didn't underestimate anyone, including the one he already beat.

"The food is ready," Sirius said.

Sirius interrupted Ken's thought, Ken looks at Sirius and smiled as he was thinking that he was so much inferior to the boy in front of him.

"Okay," Ken replied. "By the way, how can you so experience about Salgab Forest?" Ken asked he was so surprised that Sirius know a lot, and he knows which plants are edible or poisonous.

"I read a lot of books and of course I also read books about Salgab Forest," Sirius replied without any trace of lies.

"You read books? As far as I know, there are no children who have a spirit to read a book." Ken replied with a surprised voice.

"It's pretty interesting though, you can have knowledge which that can help you if you read books. For example, you can know about magic, swords, or any other things."

Ken was surprised by what he heard, he didn't expect that a book contains a lot of information. Of course, Ken didn't know it because children on his age don't have any interest in books, they thought books are boring and didn't even bother looking at it. Only Sirius who has a system personality can have that courage to read a lot of books. As a system, Sirius always thirst for knowledge he didn't know, that's why Sirius face always has a curiosity paste on it.

In Sheperd Mansion, Steven was sitting in his office while looking at the person sitting in front of him. "Why are you here? You should be watching the two of them so no danger may come to them." Steven said with coldness in his voice.

The person in front of him was Rudolf the head of WinderForg mansion and the one who suggested Ken and Sirius venture out in Salgab Forest. Rudolf just smiled at Steven when he heard his question.

"You underestimate them too much, especially your son," Rudolf said.

Steven was surprised by what Rudolf said, he knew that Rudolf's son is strong especially in Ken's swordsmanship, Ken was Rudolf's heir so Ken should be pretty powerful, but he didn't expect that Rudolf will compliment Sirius.

"What do you mean by that?" Steven asked with a confused look.

"Your son is more powerful than you think, his magic is powerful enough to make others jealous of it, but it is also the same for his swordsmanship," Rudolf said with a teasing look. "He already beat my son and his improving rapidly. I advise you that you should send your son to the academy and start learning there. In there he will meet other children who are as strong as him or stronger than him." He added.

"That idea is a good idea, but what will he think about it?" He asked, "And you still didn't answer my question.!" Steven said coldly.

"I send someone to watch them for a bit while I go here." Rudolf smiled with smiled.

While Rudolf and Steven are talking to each other, Sirius and Ken are now eating the meat Sirius' grilled. Suddenly Sirius face change.

"Run!" Sirius said with an ugly look on his face.

Ken was wondering why Sirius suddenly shouted run, but he still follows. A loud roar came from the place they were saying and Ken's look becomes grim. Sirius and Ken were running because there is a horde of the beast coming in their direction, the two of them knew they can't stop it. So they run to the kingdom's direction to report it to their father.
