Targaryen Who Turned Dragon

Chapter 101 - A Long Night

Aerion entered the eighth floor once more with the intentions of gaining the Divine Spirit's legacy, the power of the white lightning had surprised him. Even with the Lightning Seed, the sheer power of the slash severely injured him in his strongest state. And Aerion heavily doubted that the slash was the White Tiger's strongest profound skill... so it was likely that he could learn something even more frightening. Along with that, he was planning to infuse the white lightning with Sky Piercer.

He tore through the entire floor until he reached the trial ground.

"You... you returned and so soon." The elder stated.

"It would be wonderful if you could get out of the way, for I have no business with you."

"Hmph, not a chance! You will have to kill this elder if you want to speak with the White Tiger."

"I already killed you before... but I understand where you are coming from." Aerion took out the Heaven Smiting Sword and opened Silver Calamity.

"Divine... Divine Origin 5?" The elder suddenly noticed.

If he lost to Aerion just after he broke through to the Divine Origin Realm... then he simply had no chance facing him when he was in middle stages of the Divine Origin Realm.

"I must thank you for pushing me in our last battle, if it weren't for your existence, I might still be struggling with my breakthrough till this day."

"Hah... of course... of course..."

"To display my greatest gratitude, I shall personally turn you into ash!"

"..."

Star God's Broken Shadow.

Aerion exploded to the side of the elder and sent him flying with a single swing. The elder didn't even have the time to block the attack... even if he did react fast enough, he didn't have the means to stop the Heaven Smiting Sword. He elder managed to stand but his left arm had a huge slash imprinted on it.

"Damn you... Heavenly White Tiger, please assist this elder!"

"Humph." The White Tiger didn't look too interested. "This is your issue, not this King's. However, you do not have a weapon so I shall bestow you my personal sword... just this once."

"Thank you... I won't disappoint you, Heavenly White Tiger."

A sword appeared before the elder and he grasped it with both hands. It started to buzz with white lightning as soon as he touched it. Aerion watched amusingly as the elder pointed the sword in his direction. "With the White Tiger's heavenly blessing, victory is mine."

"That sword won't change the result of this battle. If you think that it truly will, then you can only be called a fool!"

Aerion swung the Heaven Smiting Sword once again and the elder managed to block the swing with his new sword. Not only did he block Aerion, but he also managed to push him back. Then, when he had gained some distance, the elder fired off a white tiger made of lightning which aimed to strike Aerion directly. He blocked the attack with his Heaven Smiting Sword... but then the lightning tiger ricocheted up and dived straight down.

BOOM.

The elder watched as Aerion took the attack directly with minimum damage. "What... how is that possible!?"

"That was definitely uncomfortable... and unexpected. But you should know that lightning is quite ineffective against me. Now then... it's 'my turn'."

"..."

Aerion stabbed the Heaven Smiting Sword into the ground and both of his hands started to flicker with Golden Crow flames. He was completely calm as he started to form Yellow Springs Ashes. The elder wasn't just going to watch as Aerion charged his attack, so he struck him with a Thunderous Tiger Slash. But it was no good as a crimson Susanoo appeared and took the hit. The slash almost managed to penetrate the armour... almost.

"You tried your best, but it simply wasn't enough."

Yellow Springs Ashes!

The Golden Crow flames did turn him into ash, after a decent length of time. Even after he perished, the flames continued to dance. Aerion grabbed the White Tiger's sword and put it into his dungeon ring. "I hope you don't mind, White Tiger."

"I'll be going soon, either way, so you may keep it. I should have given you the reward for finishing this floor earlier but you were unconscious so I waited until you would come again. It looks like you did. The reward is, of course, my Legacy. Your fight earlier... was a spectacle, it made me understand a few things. Heh, I can die without any regrets."

The White Tiger turned into lightning and completely joined with Aerion. He gained everything the Divine Spirit had to offer... and therefore, he could be 'thought of' as a complete inheritor of the White Tiger's Legacy. However, he could never quite be a complete inheritor because of his dominant Fire Dragon God Legacy. Instead, it joined as part of his Fire Dragon God Legacy.

Ah, so it's called the White Tiger's Tale of the End...

Aerion started to comprehend the White Tiger's Tale of the End. There were ten stages in total, including the first two foundation stages. The last stage made him think of the Flying Wind God's Art.

"World Ending Storm... hmm..."

Could they somehow be related?

A portal opened at the very end of the vast trial ground.

Probably the ninth floor... I doubt I'll be ready to face it anytime soon.

Aerion returned to the White Tiger's tale of the End and started to comprehend it.

Three months later, Kingslanding, the Great Sept of Baelor. It was the early months of the Year 300 AC and the beginning of a 'long winter'. Since the summer lasted about ten years, the people feared an equally long winter. But it was not a glaring issue currently since one of the biggest events in recent memory was staged today. King Aerion I Targaryen was to marry not one, not two but three different brides! Such a thing would cause outrage unless one held absolute authority, which His Grace definitely did. King Aerion I Targaryen answered to neither gods nor men as such beings were clearly beneath him.

Aerion stood next to the High Septon who would be presiding over the marriage. I.n.c.e.s.t was a vile sin and polygamy was prohibited in the Faith of the Seven but the High Septon would never even dare to speak up against Aerion, much less call him a sinner. Still, Jaehaerys, the First of His Name, did make Targaryen i.n.c.e.s.t legal so he couldn't quite call him a sinner for that... however, one could not say the same for polygamy.

Aerion smiled for a moment at the High Septon... he awkwardly returned the smile. Aerion patiently waited for his brides... they did take a while but it was only natural. All he had to do to prepare was wear some nice clothes and brush his hair a little. As for his women... they have to do far more, apparently.

The doors opened and revealed three beauties along with two men who escorted the brides to their groom. Izanami walked on her own while Daenerys was escorted by Viserys Targaryen and Margaery was escorted by Mace Tyrell. Once they reached him, the men removed the cloaks of the brides which had the coat of arms of their respective houses. Aerion removed Izanami's white cloak himself and replaced it with a black one bearing the coat of arms of House Targaryen. He had to replace the cloaks of Daenerys and Margaery following this. Although it was weird to replace a Targaryen cloak with another, Aerion still had to do it. It symbolized the bride passing from her father's (or the closest thing to that) protection into her husband's protection.

"With these kisses, I pledge my love to all of you." Aerion declared.

"With this kiss, I pledge my love." The ladies, in turn, replied

Aerion kissed all three, one by one. He felt slightly awkward but this was his idea so he went with it. Three weddings would simply be inefficient, slow and a waste of resources.

"I declare you husband and... his wives." The High Septon continued. "One flesh, one heart, one soul, now and forever."

Then the feast began. It was a huge gathering of nobles from all around the Seven Kingdoms. Every Great House was in attendance, even House Stark which was least expected to arrive. Aerion knew the one reason why they would travel all the way to Kingslanding and it wasn't just because of his wedding. He suspected that it was a matter concerning the King he had seen in one of his dreams. Nevertheless, he was glad that they came.

There was a small tournament during the feast, where there was a surprising winner. Viserys trampled every single opponent he faced in his duels. He was too strong and too fast for any of them to stand a chance... Aerion knew exactly why. It was that pill he gave him.

"I never thought of you as a swordsman, uncle."

"I do not think of myself as a swordsman, either." Viserys smiled. "But its good to try new things once in a while."

Aerion agreed. "I would like to speak with you about a matter of great importance later."

"Hmm, what could it be?"

"You'll find out on the morrow. For now, feast to your heart's content!"

"As you command, your Grace."

Aerion got a huge stockpile of gifts which he kindly accepted. He gifted Izanami with a katana which was forged from the White Tiger's sword. It was practically the same, except for its appearance. For Daenerys, he gave her a divine pill which would directly push her into the Sovereign Profound Realm. For Margaery, he gave a necklace which would put all other necklaces to shame. Personally imagined and forged by him, of course.

He noticed that a girl was looking at him constantly... when he looked at her, she turned around. That girl was the comely Sansa Stark. He could hear the Dragon laughing. "Fire and Ice, Targaryen and Stark... what an interesting pair you two would make."

If I want ice, I can find it in the Frozen Cloud Immortal Palace... hmph. She looks like a Tully, anyway.

"Tully... a fish in the claws of a dragon... that is intriguing!"

Aerion decided to ignore the Dragon and, instead, he conversed with his new wives.

"His Grace is truly bold, hahaha... to oppose the Faith of the Seven to this extent. Only Maegor Targaryen can be his match!" One drunk fellow stated to his friend.

"Comparing Maegor to His Grace is simply disrespectful. Maegor was a cruel and ruthless King, I'm sure you know... while His Grace is kind and forgiving, he is only ruthless when it is truly necessary."

"Ah... I see."

"I wonder how he's going to bed three young women at once..."

"Never underestimate the vitality of a dragon, my friend, hahaha."

~

Aerion originally intended to marry Izanami in Blue Pole Star but then he changed his mind. Firstly, they had no elders in that world and secondly, he preferred the ceremony of the Faith of the Seven.

Then the night came... Aerion took a deep breath as he made his way to his chambers while his three newly-wed wives followed him. He had made extra-sure to limit his wine intake so that he would have enough energy. The situation with Huan Caiyi had really opened his eyes and broadened his horizons so he wasn't too worried about running out of stamina. However, there remained one problem...

How in Seven Hells am I going to do this?! One by one or all three at once? Hmm... I should ask what they would be comfortable with first. That shouldn't be too hard.

"So, how are we going to do this?" Aerion said, calmly. His state of mind was far from calm but he knew how to hide it.

"I would not mind sharing a bed with you, even if there are two other women," Izanami stated.

I see... what about the other two?

Margaery didn't seem to mind, Daenerys, on the other hand, was a little bit more hesitant. But she agreed, in the end, to make things easier for him.

All three at once... I have a feeling this is going to be a long night.
