Targaryen Who Turned Dragon

Chapter 125 - A Dragon's Luck

"Prepare for an invasion? Have you gone mad, Sect Master?" An elder questioned.

"You dare to question my orders?" Lei Qianfeng replied, coldly. "No, you are not just questioning my orders... you are questioning My Lord!"

Aerion smiled.

It would seem that the old Realm King's authority did take a hit after he lost to me in a most humiliating fashion. Both of his arms are missing, as well... but this is the perfect opportunity to assert my own authority!

Aerion dropped down to meet his new subjects. The Black Soul Divine Sect had more than eight million talented disciples and many Divine Spirit Realm elders along with the Realm King. Its power in the Darkya Realm was unquestionable, however, the Back Soul Divine Sect was still just a sect. It didn't own anything outside of the sect... Aerion planned to change that. He wished to gain absolute control over the entire Darkya Realm and so, gain many more resources.

"I'm sure all of you witnessed my battle with the old Realm King. He has surrendered the title of Realm King to me... and so, all of you are now my subjects! The Black Soul Divine Sect will turn over a new leaf under me and that will start with it becoming the Divine Justice Sect. If you do not wish to be part of this change, then you may leave immediately. Those who remain will march with me and put the rest of the Darkya Realm in place. If you happen to fall during this march, then you are weak and unworthy of being a member of this great sect!"

"The weak and cowardly will be replaced easily in due time... I'd rather you leave immediately!"

Aerion appeared before the elder who was questioning Lei Qianfeng. His eyes glowed crimson with killing intent as he asked a simple question. "Do you fear death?"

"I... no, I do not fear death."

"If you run from me, I'll let you live, as I do not want disobedient trash like yourself to be a part of my sect. Go ahead... run, I will keep my word."

"Realm King... please forgive my most sinful act, I wish to be part of your grand plan. It seems to me that you are a man of great ambition... I believe in your words, the Divine Justice Sect will truly rise to new heights under you. I, Lei Yun, will never even think of questioning another one of your orders!" Lei Yun bowed deeply, so much so that his head touched the ground.

Oh... a kowtow?

Aerion had a sudden urge to scratch his head. Something wasn't adding up. He was supposed to run with his tail between his legs... I would have had no issue with that.

But he remained?

"You underestimated yourself." Rotias commentated.

"I see... then you can stay." Aerion turned to the other spectators and he could see the reverence in their eyes. He rose above the Back Soul Divine Sect and looked for anyone who was deciding on leaving. He couldn't find anyone.

"Bow to the new Realm King of the Darkya Realm, Justice!" Lei Qianfeng commanded.

"All hail Justice!"

Justice... I might have to get another name, but it'll do for now.

Most of the masters, elders and, most of all, disciples supported the new Realm King and had no issue in the change. In fact, many welcomed the change. Lei Qianfeng wasn't even comparable to Justice in many regards.

The Black Soul Mountain Range's western region was taken back and a few promising profound practitioners were given a position in the Divine Justice Sect. The rest were sent their way.

"The new Realm King is too awesome. How he smacked around Lei Qianfeng like a little baby, damn... I wish I could fight like him. Every time I see him, I feel like I'm standing before some kind of God... don't you feel the same way, Lei?"

"Yeah, it's no surprise that very few people left the sect. I'm glad that they did since this sect is no place for the weak and cowardly. They would only dishonour the Realm King by staying."

"That's right. I can't wait to prove my worth in battle against the Jade Sword Sect."

"Eh, you're part of the main invasion force? That's not fair..."

~

Aerion was resting in the main garden of the Black Soul Divine Sect. The garden was restricted to him and He Lin only, if anyone else was found then they would be killed on sight. The mystery of who was behind the mask of Justice brought forth much curiosity but no one dared to trespass. Anyways, he kept his mask on even in the garden.

He Lin was quite enthusiastic about nature and had no issue with staying there for days on end. Aerion was quite fond of him and saw him as a little brother of sorts. They, strangely enough, were quite similar... despite one being a Wood Spirit and the other a Dragon.

"Master, how is your father and mother like... they must be very strong, right?" He Lin innocently asked.

"Hmm, yes, they were both strong in their own way."

"Were...?"

"They both passed when I was three. My father, in battle, and my mother... I'd rather not say. I was denied my throne and had to run away, but I reclaimed everything that was mine and more after many years."

"I never thought that Master had such a devastating past... forgive me for bringing it up."

"No, it wasn't your fault. I have already come to terms with what happened long ago anyway. Your luck seems to be slightly better than my own since you still have a sister."

"Will I ever see her again?"

"Yes, you will. I'll make sure of it. But she's with Shen Xi, the Dragon Queen, so approaching her isn't exactly the easiest thing to do right now..." Aerion thought about it. "It's definitely a possibility, though!"

"Really... you can do that?"

When Aerion looked at He Lin's expression he couldn't help but go along with the crazy plan he had in his mind. He Lin has suffered enough being separated from his sister for four entire years... it would be a great deed to seal the wound once and for all.

He Lin might work even harder... if I were in his position, I would do anything to see her again. But my sister is long dead.

Rotias... what about the Dragon Monarch, is he going to kill me on sight?

"That is unlikely, he rarely visits and his visits tend to be extremely short. You'd be quite surprised if I told you that the Dragon Queen isn't exactly his Queen."

What... she isn't?

"It's just a title, they are not married or anything of the sort. Heh, you have quite a good chance of claiming her for yourself..."

Are you mad, or purposefully trying to get me killed?

"Both... maybe. Her vital yin would be an excellent addition to your strength, that's all I'm saying. The 'accident' with Mu Xuanyin seemed to bring many benefits, with Shen Xi it would be no different."

It was a one-time thing. I remain a faithful man...

"Of course, of course." Rotias laughed.

Aerion looked at He Lin and nodded. "Yes, I can. Your Master is not the greatest space traveller in the Primal Chaos Dimension for nothing!"

"Alright, let's go now... if possible."

He's so enthusiastic... heh, alright. Where is Shen Xi located, Rotias?

"She never leaves the Forbidden Land of Samsara, from what I know."

Forbidden Land of Samsara...? Sounds interesting.

Izanagi.

"Are you ready, He Lin?"

"Not really... I'm slightly nervous since this event came so suddenly."

"That is understandable, I would be nervous as well. We won't be there long... are you fine with that?"

"Of course, as long as I get to see my sister."

"Alright, then."

World Teleportation Portal, take me to the Forbidden Land of Samsara!

~

BOOM.

Ow...

Aerion crashed into the ground and while he was recovering, He Lin flew into his c.h.e.s.t headfirst. The World Teleportation Portal wasn't kind this time around, it would seem. Aerion opened his eyes and looked at his surroundings. It was definitely a beautiful place worthy of the Dragon Queen.

However, behind him, he felt a frightening aura choking him with pressure. He didn't want to turn around because he had a few suspicions on who was releasing this pressure.

"Who dares enter the Forbidden Land of Samsara!?"

Just my luck.
