*Knock*

*Knock*

I open my eyes.

"Who is it?"

"I'm sorry to interrupt, Young Master, but your breakfast is ready."

A female's voice, probably the innkeeper's daughter or some maid. Though I cannot recall seeing a maid yesterday, maybe the innkeeper upgraded just for me.

I get out of bed and get dressed in the "homeless bandit" clothing, I really do need to get myself some new clothes... I'll make sure to look around the town today.

"What in the..!?"

I look at my left hand's palm and notice a circular green marking. This wasn't there before, when did I get it?

ZOOM.

In just one breath of time, I appear in a green endless space. I was dumbfounded. So much space, so many different items laying around... what is this place? It's too big to be a spatial ring...

Then I turn to a figure resting in a bed. I look closer and see her scarlet hair.

"You..."

~Flashback

"NO!"

SLASH!

~

This girl... she was the person who cut me in half, what is she doing here?!

"What are you doing here?"

She yawned, which I found very insulting.

"Do you not have eyes? This princess is resting. Go."

What? Go? I just came here...

"Uh oh, I'm so very ashamed of disrupting your important rest. I'll leave immediately." I said, with clear sarcasm.

So... how do I leave?

ZOOM.

I return to the room.

Guess the green tattoo can read my mind, that's quite useful.

I open the door, walk forward, and close it behind me. Then I walk downstairs to the bar part of the inn and sit down on one of the chairs. There were five people on the table but the moment I sat down, they all moved to the other tables. One of them said, "We don't want no trouble". Damn... what did I do to make people want to avoid me? Oh... that's right, I annihilated a few Infernal Demon Sect disciples yesterday. They were so minor I already forgot about them...

"Here's your food, I hope you like it." The innkeeper said.

"Thank you."

Dumplings, eh? I think I'll like it.

~After I finish the food

"The food was pretty good."

Then I leave the inn and start exploring this town. There was a sign that said, "Welcome to Gold Mountain Town"...so that's the name of the town. Gold Mountain, a very arrogant name indeed. Someone who looked like a mercenary approached me. He did fit the role with his clothing, but his physique had much to be d.e.s.i.r.ed. He had long skeleton-like arms and no visible muscle. Looks like he hadn't eaten properly for a few years.

"Hey... hey, would you like to join the Silver Cloaks? It's a mercenary group who take on any task. If not, perhaps you want them to assist you in your journey? They can escort you to any place safely, for a price."

Then a tall, muscular mercenary slapped the skinny mercenary on the back of the head.

"Fool, can't you see who this is? The Silver Calamity himself... do you think he needs our help?"

"N-no... but he d-doesn't look like much."

"SILENCE. Now excuse us, young master."

The Silver Calamity... that's a bit exaggerated, don't you think? Still, I was quite interested in these so-called SIlver cloaks. They started to swiftly move further away from me.

"Wait."

Upon my word, they froze in place. The taller one stuttered out a sentence.

"D-did we s-say an-anything... w-wrong?"

"No, you did everything right. I wish to know more about this Silver Cloak organisation."

After a good second of recovery, the taller mercenary nodded.

"We have a camp outside of the town, w-would you like to meet the boss?"

"Yes, I would."

~A few minutes later

The camp only had about half a dozen mercenaries, almost no food and barely enough money to keep everything afloat.

"So this is the camp, I'm slightly disappointed."

The tall mercenary nodded while the slender one remained silent. I could see sadness and anger, at the same time, inside of the tall mercenary

"We lost many brothers in our latest mission... we were ambushed by the Infernal Demon Sect. Those damn demons are now going wherever they want... though they are smart enough to avoid conflict with the mighty Noble Rogue Sect. I wish that one day they trouble the wrong man... that would be a glorious day."

That day has long passed. The moment that I'm strong enough to face the Demon King, will be the moment he bends his knee before me! NO ONE can humiliate the Dragon and get away with it.

"The Infernal Demon Sect has already crossed someone they shouldn't have..."

"Who?"

"Nevermind."

I swiftly change the topic.

"So, do you have any ongoing missions or, a mission your boss is considering?"

"The boss is considering escorting a rich merchant all the way to Oldtown. A very risky task, as the journey to Oldtown is full of danger. High reward, high risk."

"What would be the reward for such a task?"

"I'm not sure if I'm allowed to say this... but I will anyway. The reward would be thirty Purple Profound Coins if we escorted the merchant to Oldtown safely."

I almost laughed, only thirty? I have over a hundred thousand! Maybe I'm just that rich after robbing the Infernal Demon Sect, or the merchant is just a greedy bastard. I suppose it's the former. Thirty is probably a lot for these people.

"I see, truly a high-risk high-reward type of mission. Since I'm going in the exact same direction, perhaps I could help?"

"Of course, of course. With your Heavenly might who would dare to attack us? It would be a great honour... I'm going to tell the boss about this."

"Yes, go ahead."

~

The boss of the silver cloaks was an old man, who was far past his prime, named Wang Tian. The man was so old that he could barely speak, but his cultivation was quite respectable. Which was the very beginning of the Earth Profound Realm. We discussed the mission and he accepted my offer of help. After that, the meeting came to a close.

I decided to finally get myself some new clothes, the first shop I went to was "Heavenly Tailoring".

~

I went up to the woman at the counter and spoke softly. I'm a charming man... perhaps I can get a discount. After all, every bit of money helps.

"I'm looking for some beautiful, expensive clothing. As beautiful as you..."

"Oh, you flatter me beggar... but I think I'm far out of your league. I mean look at you... I would never consider even looking at you. That white hair is probably some type of paint and those eyes are probably some type of illusion, you think you can trick me? No way. Security, get this beggar out of here."

Being called a beggar twice is bad enough but my Targaryen bloodline being so badly degraded... IS UNACCEPTABLE!

Before I was able to draw out Sky Piercer and blow the whole building to the ground, the security came in and resolved everything. Once the security guard saw me, his attitude towards the woman turned cold.

"Shut your damn mouth, woman."

"What did I... say th-"

"I SAID SHUT UP."

He turned to me and was reassured by the fact that I didn't have Sky Piercer out.

"Please, forgive this ignorant woman's actions..."

"It's difficult to forgive the things she said, I would need some serious compensation to even think about it."

"What may that be? I'm sure the boss would be able to pay as long as it's reasonable."

I thought about it for a good minute. Then I had the perfect deal. There is no point in destroying things, it's better to conquer them!

"The store, I want ownership of everything here."

"So... you want to be the boss?"

"Yes."

"I'm not sure about that..."

"Bring your boss here and we'll forge the deal."

"O...ok."

~

The guard told the store's owner about the news and he ran over to me.

"So you wish to take everything just because she insulted your hair and eyes?"

"That's right, but you make it sound so small and simple... but it's more than that. She is insulting every single one of my ancestors! I won't just stand for it. You either give me what I want or I crush your skull."

"Very well..."

"Good, we have a deal. The store will run as normal, but I will take a good 70% of what you earn. I'm sure the owner of such a brilliant store must make quite a lot, so 30% should be more than enough to scr.a.p.e by. Keep my money stored somewhere. I will take it whenever I feel like it."

The owner nodded his head in approval.

"I see... it's not that bad."

"It's good that you have some common sense. Now, I need some brilliantly tailored clothing. Get to it."

"But we need your measurements first..."

"Very well, I'm here... get your measurements."

~

"Who is... he?"

The woman asked and the guard responded.

"The Silver Calamity, the man who could slay Infernal Demon disciples with ease. He even made one of them bow just with his profound energy, that one disciple was at the Spirit Profound Realm! Does that ring a bell?"

"Yes, but I...-I thought he would wear something proper..."

"Now the ow-, no, the manager must pay for your foolishness."

~

The results of the measurement shocked me. My height was measured at 190cm! I've grown so much and I didn't even realise it! Then they measured my weight which I couldn't care less about since I was in great shape.

After the measurements were over, the staff got to work. They were using the best materials and working very carefully, it looked like they were creating a masterpiece. They said it would take them a few hours, so I decided to train outside of the town for a bit.

After my training, I went over to one of the local restaurants. I just happened to bring the slender mercenary with me since I felt bad for him. It would probably be the best meal he's had for years, at the expense of some of my pocket change. I also didn't want to be eating alone...

~

"So, how's the food?"

I ask the slender mercenary who was simply gobbling up all of the dishes.

"Ish... Ish vewry go... go good!"

I was long finished by then but I waited for him to finish filling up the black hole that was his stomach. Then a very charming maiden came with the receipt and took away the dishes. She smiled devilishly at me as she walked away.

It was either: she wants my stick or the cost of the meal is astronomical. I think it's the latter...

"FOUR PURPLE PROFOUND COINS!?"

The slender mercenary, Lei Kun, shouted out loud. Every single person in the restaurant heard that. He was crying at the prospect of having to pay for it, then I reminded him that I was paying for it.

"It's all on me... calm down."

"O...oh, ok. Thank you for your generosity, you are truly a great man."

I give the maiden five purple profound coins, one as a tip to her.

"One purple profound coin... for me?"

"That's right, you served me well."

She smiled. "Well... I hope to serve you again."

That's quite likely since I will have to come here to collect my income...

"Don't worry, you will."

Me and Lei Kun walk out of the restaurant and part ways. I'm tired of looking like some beggar, it's time to get my clothes.
