Targaryen Who Turned Dragon

Chapter 7 - The Sharingan

"ROOOOOAAAAR!!!"

The Crimson Dragon of my dreams shook the void with its mighty roar. The Dragon was far bigger than before... it was the size of a bloody mountain! What is he being fed? Horses, krakens, whales, other dragons... dinosaurs? By the looks of it, all of the above!

"You're bigger than before," I state.

The last time I saw the Dragon it spoke, maybe I can get him to speak again. It stood still for a while. Then Dragon's eyes glowed red and he finally spoke.

"You are bolder... boy."

"Who are you, what are you?"

"I am a part of you, I am your inner dragon, a manifestation of your Dragon blood. That is what I am."

"So, you will never disappear?"

"Yes, unless you die."

"Well, it's good to know that I have an inner Dragon."

I awake in my bed as usual but something is different. I turn to my left and see a person! A girl... that girl. What in the seven hells... is she sleeping in my bed? Oh well... I take a closer look from many different angles.

God damn! She has God-given assets... with perfect proportions. Her long black hair, her perfect rack, her glorious rump and her beautiful red eyes...

"..."

This is so wrong... what am I doing? Have I become a pervert?

*I slap myself*

No... I refuse to believe this ever happened. This never happened... I am still an innocent, pure and holy man.

I quickly get dressed. My embarrassing deed was still in my memory, I keep telling myself it's definitely not my fault.

I wonder what the Blood of the Gods and the Sharingan is. They both sound quite powerful. After taking the drop of blood, I do feel stronger. Maybe I should test my strength but before that...

"What are you doing in my bed?" I ask

She yawns and sits up.

"You never told me where I should sleep. Besides, you had a good look...didn't you?"

"I didn't m-"

"It's fine, you can repay me by letting me sleep here."

This girl... she is more cunning than my master of whispers!

~

Robert Baratheon swung his hammer to my left side. I was going to block the swing with my greatsword, but I came with another idea. What if I... caught the hammer?

Catch the hammer, I did. My right hand held the head of the Warhammer. Robert's face... if only the court of King's Landing could have seen it.

My hand was surprisingly unharmed... I am truly a Dragon. I threw Robert's Warhammer away, which left him weaponless.

"What in the seven hells..."

"The strength of a Dragon."

"The Strength of a Dragon... what nonsense."

We continued our sparring for two hours, then Robert was sent back to his dungeon cell by Jon and the other two Dragonsguard.

Now I sat on top of a hill, outside of Bloodstone Castle. There was one tree behind me blocking away the sun. The coast of Bloodstone could be easily seen... it was beautiful. I decided to take a nap.

"Dozing off without anyone to protect you... very risky."

I opened my eyes and saw the crimson eyed girl.

"What are you doing here? I thought you were busy meditating..."

"Well, I finished and decided to see my beautiful King."

I smiled.

"You may sit."

"I was going to anyway."

She sat down next to me.

"What's your name?" I asked

"Izanami Uchiha."

"Izanami... I am Aerion Targaryen."

"I already know, my father told me all about you."

"Where is he now?"

"Probably somewhere in deep meditation, as always."

"The blood I drank...what does it do?"

"I don't really know much, you should ask my dad. But... do know three things, it is called the Blood of the Gods, it grants a person limitless potential and the sacred eyes of my clan... the Sharingan. Essentially, you can become God."

God... I can become a... God? Gods are beings that can do as they wish... the world is just a playground for them. A God could change summer into winter and winter into summer, live forever, kill a man just by thinking about it, appear wherever they wish and many other things. I can become such a being? Sign me up!

"What is this Sharingan you speak of?"

"You'll know when the time comes..."

And she walked off... great. I went to sleep on the tree. Then I woke up in the evening. It was really dark so I went back to the castle. I thought about going to sleep again but I wasn't tired at all. So I went to the library and started exploring new books.

"The Age of Gods"

This book... it wasn't here before, I'm sure of it. It definitely caught my interest, though. I started reading through its pages.

"In the world there once lived thousands of Gods. Some were more important and stronger, while others were minor and weak. Still, in the end, they were all Gods. Immortal and powerful beings capable of inhuman feats.

There were seven major Gods in that era:

Aerios, The God of Dragons, Fire and the Sky

Vena, The Goddess of Ice, Birds and the Sea

Surge, The God of "The Many Arts"

Nearon, The God of War

Nexus, The God of Peace

Celia, The Goddess of Creation and Earth

Helia, The Goddess of Love

Rotias, The God of Destruction, Blood and the Underworld

Raela, The Goddess of Death

They were all so very powerful... one day that all changed. Rotias d.e.s.i.r.ed to be King of all Gods but the spot was already taken by Aerios, the mightiest of all the Gods. Rotias could not kill Aerios in a fair battle... so he decided to poison him. Rotias spent centuries making the most lethal poison possible, and he succeeded. Once the day had come, Aerios did not die to the poison... but many others did.

In no time the dark, negative and venomous energy from the poison spread to all Gods and every corner of the world. All major Gods survived, but their powers were greatly diminished. Aerios then supposedly killed Rotias, but the damage was already done. Every minor God died and the entire world was left in a terrible state. Celia sacrificed herself for the greater good, reviving the world once again. Many years later humans appeared, and that was the end of the golden age of the Gods. Though most of the major Gods still live, they have a very small impact on human life... it's now the Age of Humanity."

I finally finished the book, I close it and put it back on the shelf.

So ... tired. I go straight to my bedchamber, undress and drop into my bed. I make sure to stay on my side of the bed to avoid any "accidents".

~Next Day~

Looks like Izanami woke up before me, oh well, it's for the better. Bells started ringing... alarm bells. We are under... attack! But by who?

"WE ARE UNDER ATTACK!"

I heard soldiers shouting and preparing for battle. I quickly got dressed, grabbed my great sword and left the bedchamber. I go outside and look at the enemy force. I almost laughed.

Only five sh.i.p.s? Or, perhaps, it's not an attack... they could be here to talk.

"The flags, it's the Golden Lion, these are Lannister sh.i.p.s." Duncan states

"Let us meet them."

I rally up the men and walk to the port. The sh.i.p.s dock the port, their leader approached me.

"I assume you are Aerion Targaryen, Son of the Last Dragon."

"Your assumption is correct, why are you here?"

He straightens up and takes a deep breath.

"We ask for the release of the King. As long as the terms are reasonable, Lord Regent Tywin will agree to it."

"Alright, my first offer is 250,000 Gold Dragons and Dragonstone."

The commander looked at his men and looked back. He shook his head.

"We cannot agree to such an offer. 100,000 Gold Dragons is the highest we are willing to give. Dragonstone... we don't ev-"

"300,000."

"No w-"

"400,000."

"We cannot... afford th-"

"Tsk, tsk, tsk. Robert is your King, is he not? He should be worth more than a puny 100,000 Gold Dragons. I thought the Westerlands were the ric.h.e.s.t Kingdom, I also heard that Tywin shits gold. This is truly disappointing... perhaps the Westerlands aren't what I thought them to be. Go and tell Tywin Lannister that if he doesn't deliver me 800,000 Gold Dragons in three months his King will die."

"Bu-b..but"

"Send them away."

I walked away.

"Our King is truly a savage when it comes to the Lannisters and Baratheons..."

"What do you expect? They took his family, childhood and throne away from him."

~

"Let's spar, pretty boy."

The suggestion was quite a surprise.

"Spar? Are you sure? I don't want to hurt a cute girl."

Izanami smiled and drew her sword. Her sword... I never saw one quite like it. It's definitely not from Westeros...

"What kind of sword is that?"

"A katana. You never saw one before? Where I'm from it's the most common weapon."

"Right, let's spar."

"As you wish."

Our swords clashed. She retreated and went for my right side. Damn, she's quick... that's for sure. I managed to block the strike. She then did something unexpected, she head-butted my face! I dropped to the floor, dazed. She raised her sword to my neck. I looked up and saw her red eyes. Both eyes had two identical markings each.

"Expect the unexpected."

Wise words... too bad I couldn't process them. After a solid minute, I recovered. She is most definitely a cultivator... no girl at her size could harm me this much.

"Get up, we have only started."

I reluctantly get up and the ruthless sparring with Izanami continues. Sometimes I could see her movements in slow motion, sometimes I could predict her next move, sometimes I could copy her movements and other times I would get absolutely destroyed. I realised something after the sparring session... my eyes were different. They could see more, far more, than ever before. I believe this is the so-called Sharingan.

"You have awakened the Sharingan in a day.... no, two hours of training. This... this is... unheard of, even the most talented Uchiha have to train for at least five months to do something that took you... two hours."

"Then I must be an unparalleled genius."

I go back to Bloodstone Castle and look into my bedroom window. Both of my eyes were crimson red. There was one marking on both my left and right eye. So this is the Sharingan... I have truly awakened it.

Ever since that day, I stopped sparring with Robert and sparred with Izanami instead. In my spare time, I would practice archery since my aim was atrocious and unacceptable for a young prince like myself.

~

"A...Lannister... envoy has arrived... Your Grace."

A breathless Robb came running to my hill. I smile

"A month before the deadline...maybe Tywin really shits gold. Let us see this envoy."

We walked to Bloodstone castle and then a bit further to the port. The port was looking like a town more and more, many people have settled down under my great rule. We went to the Lannister sh.i.p.s.

"It's the same bloody commander, this will be fun."

The captain of the envoy walked up to me.

"Good to see you again, we-cannot man. Can you afford my price... or do I have to send the king's dead body to King's Landing. Maybe it should be renamed to King's Washing... what do you think?"

"Tywin Lannister is offering 400,000 Gold Dragons... nothing more."

"Hm, I am quite disappointed by the offer but... maybe the King of the Seven Kingdoms can spice it up. Robb, bring Robert here."

"As you wish, Your Grace."

A few minutes of waiting later Robb returns with Robert and a few Dragonsguard.

"So, what can you offer?"

"I shall not be a bargaining chip to a drag-"

"Shut him up. It looks like the King, sadly, cannot assist us in these negotiations. Lannister, what about sh.i.p.s? If Tywin gives me that 500,000 Gold Dragons and twenty good galleys... we may have a deal after all. "

"I shall deliver this news to Lord Tywin immediately."

The envoy stayed a few minutes and then left Bloodstone port and continued to the wider sea.

"The negotiations are finally done... I want to sail myself, it feels like it has been a century since I last headed into the open sea. What do you think, Robb?"

"I, too, have missed the sea, Your Grace."

"Then let's go."

I loaded the Mad King with cargo, took my Dragonsguard and fifty men, informed Duncan and sailed into the open sea. I also had an escort of four sh.i.p.s which had about two hundred men.

I, Aerion Targaryen, the King of the Stepstones have returned to the Narrow Sea!
