The Akuma

'Akuma-san will protect me! He's the symbol of hope within Kurama City, he'll definitely sort this problem and find a solution after all... where there's a will there's a way! Right?!'

At this point Akuma had let out a sentient sphere of flames from his hand to illuminate the sewers, and from what they could see in front, they knew that someone or something was here.

"Pitter, Patter, Drip Drop... Drip Drop!"

'There it is again, that noise is back and from what I can see something is clearly in front of me.'

Sensing such things I produced some more flame orbs as I moved them further in front of me, and there I saw the scene. Disgusting. Abominations. Fear. Everything one feared was there.

In front of me were abominations of nature as they carried on chewing at a human body, with their large canines jutting in and out of the humans body.

In front of me were five monsters as they savagely ate the human corpse, no not corpse, but corpses littered all over the floor with scratch marks similar to the article I had gotten from Shiori.

For the first time since I began my journey of being a hero, I felt scared,fearful, angry, annoyed, disgusted, no word put write my emotions as I witnessed a fellow human, being taken for livestock and being eaten, my palms were now clenched into fists.

As my eyes began to morph into those of a flame shape and around me the whole sewer began glowing in red hot flames of fury.

No monster on my watch was going to eat a human, not on my watch!

In front of me were 5 demonic cat-like beings as they feasted upon a fellow earthling, they looked hundreds of times more deadly than a lion as they were all 3 meters in height rearing their heads at me, my blood was pumping all over my body as I looked at them as if gaining adrenaline.

But I didn't let it control me, no Nagasawa-san was right next to me I couldn't let her get hurt, and with a quick answer clearly wanting no reply I told her. "Run, Now!"

As I said this the man eating savages turned to me while putting as their red eyes glowed the colour of blood clearly it was time to fight.

But before I could even make a move one of the savages leapt at me with no reaction I fell to the ground as it used it's sharp sword like canines to dig into my left hand.

"BITE!!"

"AAAAARRRRGGGHH!"

Echoed my scream as my left hand felt as if it was cut in half and restored then cut in half again.

And due to me being pinned down by the furry three meter behemoth another savage attacked me this time on my right t.h.i.g.h as it bit into my t.h.i.g.h instantly like a vampire it began drinking my red red blood, with excitement like it enjoyed my blood but more importantly my agony as once again I let out a horrendous scream.

"AAAARRGGHH!!"

This time the scream alerted Nagasawa Shiina-san who though I told her to run stayed behind as she witnessed the symbol of justice being eaten by furry behemoths, she was scared, frightened, sad, helpless, you can name it anything and she wanted to help.

Looking around for any type of defence she found a brick as she chucked it at one of the cats attacking Akuma, with all her ferocity she wanted to help and so she did.

Back To Akuma:

There on the dirty ground laid the hero as he couldn't help but struggle to break free from the iron grip of the cats, as their steel like canines plunged into both his t.h.i.g.h and left arm.

'I gotta focus, yes I gotta stay calm... right mindset... gotta keep on going... need to move... I can't sleep now... I'm too young to die... this white light is so soft and smooth, I want to touch it... No I can't I'll fail this city if I go now...'

With the last bit of his conscious Akuma headbutted the cat with enormous power and burnt the cats skull with his blazing head, with this last bit of strength he burned out and leaked flames outside his body causing the cat that bit his arm to turn to dust while the one that bit his arm was still there.

Untill, "KLANG!!" a brick landed on the cats head disturbing it, obviously to this cat that had the same strength as bloody steel it was nothing but a distraction giving me the chance to burn it whole as I used both hands and placed them on the cats cranium and increased the heat upon it causing it to turn to ash.

With that I got up, and the flames seemingly reinvigorated me as I became a living fireman, or more rather a Flameman as my wounds had closed up yet I still felt pain as I think fifty percent of my injuries were healed definitely not a hundred percent as I would've immediately felt better.

But looking back I saw that Nagasawa-san had helped me, "Run" I said once again but she stood firm though sluggish and said, "No!"

Though this felt like the end it wasn't as there were three more cats left, and with that they all began looking at me warily, with each Demon Fruit I ate all my injuries would heal automatically whenever I ate a new one, meaning if I ate another Demon Fruit I would be restored to 100%.

And the thing was every time I ate a Demon Fruit to eat another I would have to wait five minutes for my next Demon Fruit to grow in my Henshin Bracelet.

Yes my body was like a pocket realm as it grew the fruits but there was always a five minute wait for another fruit to grow, and now at any moment I would be able to eat another fruit

'3... 2... 1... Now!'

At this point I quickly got the Demon Fruit and ate it though it looked weird to outsiders as they believed I was merely eating the air as only I could see the Henshin Bracelet and Demon Fruits.

Instantly my body glowed in a black light as my injuries were restored and I had gained a new ability.

Meaning my Pyrokinesis was gone, instantly my mind processed the fruit as I gained the memories of how to use this ability.

'Thunder & Lightning Fruit, Electrokinesis huh, It seems I can create, shape and manipulate electricity!'

As Akuma thought this, his body burst out with thunder, as noises began to echo in this damp and dark place frightening even Shiina-san his ally.

"RUMBLE... RUMBLE... ZZZT!!"

As the sounds of thunder and lightning echoed it was as if Furuichi had literally become a Lightningman as he radiated out black arcs of electricity with a flash of lightning zapping through his previous flaming eyes.

And with this he illuminated the entire sewer as he stared directly at the cats causing them to shiver and with his words he brought fear into them.

With a low pitched tone filled with the rumbling of thunder, Furuichi said in fury as he gazed at the human corpses, "It's time to... Meet Your Maker... IN THUNDER AND LIGHTNING!!"

"RAAAARGGHHHH!!!"

And like a general leading his soldiers to war Furuichi screamed in fury as he ran as fast as lightning both metaphorically and literally as he had become a Lightningman and had gone at such speeds.

It seems that after today no longer would these demonic man eating savage cats exist as they would experience hell like torment and pain.
