Guiding Genin Part 1

Fifteen Minutes Later,

Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Shikamaru, Ino, Choji, Murasaki, Beni, Fuma, Hinata, Shino, Kiba, Menma, Jena, and Okinawa were present at the training ground.

Seeing everyone there, Menma finally decided to speak.

"Alright, since everyone is here, I have something to say to you guys. As you already know, I said that I will guide some of you. But since we all are from the same generation, I didn't want anyone to be left out."

"So, I decided to call everyone here and give you guys some advice. There are two pieces of advice; one personal and one for training. And, I also have one bad news."

"Before, we get into advice, let's talk about bad news. It is not exactly bad but it's just that I will leave the village for two years so I won't be able to meet you guys for the next two years."

"What? Menma, you are leaving."

Suddenly, Naruto shouted and interrupted him. There was sadness in his eyes as he tried to say more but Menma stopped him.

"Naruto, it's just for two years. It's not like we won't meet again."

Hearing his words, Naruto was still a bit sad but then he cheered up.

Everyone else was also surprised but they didn't get sad like Naruto. They were curious about his advice.

So, Menma continued.

"You guys might or might now know but our village organizes Chunin Exams two times each year. This is my personal advice. It depends upon you whether you want to accept it or not."

"I just want you guys to not take any Chunin Exams for the next two years. Right now, none of you are extremely in need of money. So, just completing normal tasks as Genin would be more than enough."

"Of course, this is my personal request rather than advice because I want to complete Chunin Exams with all of you."

Hearing his words, everyone suddenly smiled and nodded their heads.

"Menma, you don't have to worry. I will wait for you and then we will give Chunin Exams together. Right Sasuke, Sakura?"

Naruto gave him a thumbs up and asked Sasuke and Sakura simultaneously.

"It doesn't matter to me as long as I can improve my strength."

"Well, I am also not sure if I can become Chunin so soon."

Sasuke and Sakura also agreed and made up their own reasons.

"Well, becoming a Chunin would be a hassle. Now that I have a reason not to become one, I don't have to worry about it." Shikamaru happily agreed.

Neji frowned a little. Kiba also didn't want to remain Genin but seeing that nobody want to disagree, they kept their mouth shut.

Menma noticed their expression and said.

"Actually, if you become Chunin without strength, you will definitely regret it. Because once you become Chunin, you will be the leader that will be responsible for other Genin in the mission. Without proper strength, there would be a high chance that you would fail the mission."

"Not only it will be bad for your reputation but also bad for your mentality."

Hearing his words, those who were still struggling finally decided to follow his advice. Even Neji was convinced. After all, it was true that they would fail their mission without enough strength.

"Then, what about the second piece of advice? By the way, didn't you call us to give us the training method?" Sasuke who was getting impatient immediately asked.

Menma smiled and said.

"Of course, this second piece of advice is related to you all. Just like before, whether you want to accept this advice or not depends on you. As Sasuke mentioned, I had planned several training methods for you guys."

"In fact, my training plan would be better than theirs because I have been together with you for years except for you three. But still, I can help you."

"As for the advice. I want you guys to share the training methods with each other. Of course, most of you will have different training methods but it didn't mean your training method would include everything you need to know."

"There would be many things that are more important for you but once you finish it, you can choose the second training from others. Of course, if you still want to maintain secrecy, then I can tell you about it individually."

"So, what do you think?"

Hearing his explanation, everyone looked at each other. After all, they were from certain clans so it would be hard for them to share their secrets.

At this moment, Shikamaru raised his hand and said.

"For me, Ino, and Choji, it doesn't matter. Because we work as a team, it would be better if we know what my team is improving on so that I can improve on our weaknesses."

Hearing his words, Menma smiled and nodded. At this moment, Jena and Okinawa also agreed. Murasaki didn't care about it neither did Lee, Sakura, and Naruto.

Only Neji, Sasuke, Fuma, Beni, Kiba, and Shino were hesitant. At this moment, Neji looked at Menma and asked.

"I come from Hyuga Family. Normally, we practice our Taijutsu. So, do we have to give our Taijutsu to you?"

Menma shook his head and said.

"You don't have to give me anything or even tell your secret Jutsu to others. What I will give you is a guide, not Ninjutsu or Taijutsu."

Hearing his Neji found it acceptable and nodded his head. Others also found it acceptable.

"Since that's the case, let me explain the importance of two things that most of you have ignored. First is Taijutsu."

Others were surprised as well, especially Fuma and Beni. After all, both of them know Great Fireball Jutsu. They also knew that it required six seals. All of them looked at him with confusion.

Seeing their confused gaze, Menma chuckled and said "For you, it is impossible. But, do you know Water Dragon Bomb Jutsu?"

"Isn't that the super difficult Jutsu that requires forty-four seals?" Okinawa who was a master at using Water Style Jutsu asked.

"It is. But, do you know that Lord Second can perform that same Jutsu with just four seals?" Menma smiled and asked.

"What?"

At this moment, everyone was shocked but they never know about such a thing.

"It is true. That's why Muji NinJutsu is hard to develop but it didn't mean there is no way to develop such Muji Ninjutsu. It just requires perfection in Chakra Control."

"The more you can control your Chakra, the easier it will be for you to utilize your Ninjutsu. That's why I asked you guys to wait for two more years."

"It would take you a year to probably master the Chakra Control at such a high level except for some exceptions like Sakura."

"And, it would take you another year to probably focus on Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, or even Genjutsu. Since we have completed the two basic things that you must cover during your training."
