THE BLACKLIGHT

Akagi slowly opened his eyes, he saw a fan slowly revolving above the ceiling, Akagi don't know where he was, the place completely strange to him, and he looked down, lying on bed.

Hiroshi, that crazy scientist with lavender hair wears a big glasses and having a robotic left hand. He stands near the bathroom, shaving his tiny beard that nearly invisible,

"You slept alright" Hiroshi asked from his bathroom at front of Akagi's bed, he washed his face and cleaning it with towel "You don't know me", he comes closer to Akagi "I need to to tell you something, important".

Akagi violently grabbed Hiroshi's collars tried to pierced him

"WHOA, WHOA, WHOA! STOP, STOP, STOP!" Hiroshi yells "Friendly, Friendly, friendly!!!"

Akagi slows down from sudden rage, Hiroshi pointed out at something "You mightya, off this thing, it's scary".

Akagi looked at his hand, his lower arm already transformed into a Claw "Sorry, I thought you, one of your MRC trying to capture me again" Akagi explained.

Hiroshi adjusts his tainted clothes "Well technically I am MRC scientist but not in biology, not anymore".

Akagi didn't said anything, Hiroshi saw Akagi's despondent face "For your silence I take it Redtron is dead", he politely said, "Your father was the tough one"

Akagi frowned "Who the hell are you, how did you know my father?"

Hiroshi pulled a chair and sat on it "It's long story about Akashi Shinsuke, he experienced so much pain and tragedy, I am going to explaining everything that I knew about Akashi Shinsuke, are you up for it?"

Akagi questioned in askance "Why should I trust you, I don't know anything about you"

Hiroshi giggled "Hehe, you don't believe me but I've saw you when you were a kid" his head turned back looking at the ceiling in oblivion "I saw you with your father, your father was my partner, colleague and my friend during the Blacklight Project"

Akagi bugs out asking, "You knew my father, l, you with the Blacklight project, does that mean you..."

"Yes" Hiroshi interrupted "I was the other scientist in Blacklight Project"

"Why you telling me all this?" Akagi questioned,

"Because I promised your dad not to tell you anything but then I changed my mind" Hiroshi smug, "Do you know why Blacklight virus was created in the first place?" he curiously questions.

Akagi nods "For curing cancer or bio medicine some sort, that went horribly wrong, it turned out to very viral and dangerous among humans.

"You're wrong! In 2014 I was one the best Virologist for MRC that time" Hiroshi continues "They recruited me for the project, I was unaware that time what project will be working on until the head of MRC given us a blood samples telling me it's a DNA of a mutant and I been leading a dozens of Scientists".

Hiroshi leaned on the chair "Our project is to synthesize that harmful Redlight filled blood sample into a cancer cure something that harmless to humans and could improve human's biological systems"

"From the first time I meet Akashi Shinsuke, I thought when I saw him as an another nerd with square glasses was leading beside me then we quite got along with each other working together, you know, we both knew that was a very, very difficult job but he couldn't gave up he was passionate and committed".

"Shut up! Don't say a word" Akagi suddenly stopped Him "I know he was crazy, he spread the virus, killing thousands of people, he infecting me, turning me into a monster and he even tried to kill me, why would I have to listen about that wicked monster who tried to kill his own son"

Akagi was listening to him as Hiroshi was saying, although he didn't convinced that he's telling the truth, until some words triggered his mind that cause him a headache on his left side, remembering few memories that he fully forgot. Not believing that things he told that his father he couldn't accept to be true.

"No! You have to listen, it's your obligation" Hiroshi forced him to listen,

After a long argument between those two,

Akagi was finally quiet and agreed to listen

Hiroshi exhales "You finally calm down as I was saying, we didn't a clue why they wanted a ungraded to Redlight virus, I presumed that maybe they going to use as a medical aid or any formulating new chemicals that can be used for good for humanity, but Akashi had some suspicious about Blackwatch's true objectives after his marriage he secretly dug deep into MRC's classified files for three years finally got it that was a shocking truth for safety of his family he decided to take action. He stole a vial of newly created Blacklight sample and took it with him"

"He released it on the city, I know that part already, tell me, why you telling me, that Akashi was stolen the vial for saving his family, I thought he did because he wanted power" Akagi directly admitted,

Hiroshi response "You still not get it, do you?" he continues, "You did to save you"...

Akagi completely flipped out "Bullshit, he, he didn't... "

"Hehe...." Hiroshi chuckles "That is the truth, believe it or not, I going explained to you in short, everything that happened during before the outbreak and the last peaceful days of the city".

For now on Hiroshi tells the tale of him and Akashi Shinsuke's journey.
