Fiera (and author) P.O.V.

Deep in the forest, a humble house of wood stands camouflaged in the trees and tall shrubs that surround it. Two cloaked figures soar across the skies towards it, descending once they have found its location.

"Leo, You go inside. I'll stand watch out here." a woman lifted her hood, raising one delicate finger to sweep back a few strands of wayward hair to reveal an enchanting but frowning face. Prominent cheekbones carrying dancing violet eyes set appealingly within their sockets. If closely examined you would spot her hands and feet restlessly fiddling around clearly showing her apprehensiveness on the matter.

"Fiera, I understand the pain this man had given you in the past. But no matter what he is still your father, you must not let you fear and hatred cloud your heart if you want to be an Arch Angel. It is also more important that we bring back the Divinity Crystal this man has in his possession." Leo, her childhood friend answered. Holding onto Fiera's soft trembling hands, strengthening his hold to stop her slowly rising disdain towards Belvragor.

*sigh* "Alright but I won't stay in there long." Fiera met Leo's eyes.

Leo pushed the door open and walked in with Fiera following after.

"Who goes there?" A low and hoarse voice resounded through the four walls. Slowly a figure emerged from another room looking over his two visitors.

"Oh, its you."

Fiera's heart felt enraged, after five decades he sees his daughter, his own flesh and blood, and the only thing he could say is 'Its you'?! But she really should not have expected any different from this man.

Before Fiera retort Leo had walked in front and shielded his from her view.

"General, You are in possession of something that is not yours, We have come here to retrieve it. If you refuse, your 'pardon' will be revoked and will face the higher court."

"I got I, I got it. no need to be so loud."

Seeing and hearing the response of this man, even Leo felt enraged.

Belvragor disappeared into another room before reemerging with a box in his hands.

"Here, is that all you need? If so then you may leave."

Leo reached out his hand to receive the small c.h.e.s.t however it had been forcefully from the other party's hands by Fiera.

Fiera glared at Belvragor

"Don't touch him with your repulsive hands!!!"

Belvragor could only stare at her with wide eyes before closing his eyes and giving a small nod. 'she had never spoken to me this way before... I see. I'm glad she could meet someone who could make her stronger.'

"Fiera. Once you leave, it is best you forget about this old man."

A cold wind had spread throughout the room along with dreadful silence.

"Y-you. You expect me to forget about all those years?! You don't deserve such a luxury. You cannot delete your disgusting-self in my past! You cannot dictate what I am.

You can't expect me to forget how you treated me and my mother as if we were no more than dirt on the side of the road. You can't expect me to forget the years I longed for a father like my other classmates have. You disregarded us and looked away despite my mother crying every night!"

"You don't know anything."

"I know everything!!! when mom died, I saw her memory. The memory of when demons invaded our land. I was but an infant at that time, week, unable to do anything, my mom having to carry me as she ran away from them. And you were there. But you didn't help either of us. My mom watched as you were handed another child by another woman and escaped with that child alone. We were only able to survive as at the last moment before being struck by a spear. A soldier had blocked it. And we were able to escape. You knew my mother couldn't fly because of an injury from a previous fight but you still just left. When she died a few years after you didn't show up on her burial. But most of all... I ask why? Why did you protect a child you have no relation to instead of your own wife's child?! Why did you continue to only care for her as we grew up? TELL ME WHYY?!!!!"

"Even if I tell you, you won't understand. You're still too young."

Fiera was dumbstruck at man she continuously tried to foolishly believe as her father. But now she has decided to give up.

". . . After thirty-six turns, I will be wed."

Belvragor was speechless as he did not expect her to be wed this fast... but it has already been five decades and he still barely knew anything about his daughter.

"Y-you will..." He glanced down and only now saw the matching silver rings that fit perfectly on the fingers of her own as well as the on the man next to her.

"In all my life I never asked anything of you. But now I will, I hope you'll fulfill it as it is my first and last request. On that day, I hope you won't appear, even if anyone asks or forces you to come. Just do as you have all my life and don't show up. Goodbye."

Fiera turned around and left the small house. Leo soon left after her after saying a few things to her father. Neither looking back as they headed back towards the temple to turn in the crystal and complete their mission.

In the temple the figure known as God spoke to his two disciples as they presented to him the Divine Crystal.

[Place it here]

A white light lit up as it floated through the crystal wall. Fiera gently placed the tiny c.h.e.s.t into the ball of light then once again it returned back to its position past the wall.

[You have done well. Now that the crystal has been returned we must hasten the bestowal of the divine will. We shall shorten the Trial of Competitors duration by one new moon. The set date of its beginning shall remain, however; after one cycle the Halo of Guardians shall be ignited and the championship will begin. Here is your reward]

:: One new moon and one cycle is the same amount of time it is only that new moon will be a noun and cycle will be a verb. so after thirteen days with a time span of 1 month (originally 2 months), the competitors of the championship will be chosen. Then the Guardian Championship will be held. I hope this helps =) ::

The two looked up as in front of them appeared a transparent diamond shaped hollow gem.

"! th-this is!"

"This humble disciple dares not accept."

The two bowed down as in front of them was the Gem of Life. It could be used to join the life of two people so that if they are close to one another, neither would die as long as the other still has life energy. This could be counted as a very precious gift as God had only given it twice before, The first to his own son who now governs over the Law of Creation together with his wife who protects the Heart of Creation and the second to a human hero who banished the unruly demons, wreaking havoc, to the underworld, during the Dark Ages; however sadly it had been destroyed in battle, never to be recovered as it had been crushed dust.

[You must not refuse. I sense it will be of great importance in the future, to you and to my people.]

Many questions bombarded Fiera's mind because why her??? There were countless others who were wiser, stronger, and more talented than she was. Although she didn't want to admit it this also applied to Leo. Why them?

However she couldn't ask God as he knew if he wanted her to know he would have already said so.

With this in mind, Fiera accepted the gem with a bow and together with Leo, left the temple and headed towards their newly bought home.
