The Devil Tyrant's Sweet Angelic Wife

I drummed my fingers on my throne as my advisors sat in front of me nervously. Six men to the right represent the Angel clan, and six men to the left represented the Human clan.

"Queen Rayne we have already prepared our troops for this attack. There should be no problem. We have defeated the devil clan before, this is not something to be concerned about."

I looked at my head advisor which represented the angels. Micheal has bright blond hair, sparkling blue eyes and large white wings which protruded from his back. Despite his young appearance he was over a thousand years old.

"That is ludicrous! You angels have supernatural powers which allow you to fight against the devils successfully! Us humans only have our holy water and measly weapons! It does not make sense how you Angels refuse to send us some reinforcements. Queen Rayne in the past day, humans village all over the earth have been ravaged and destroyed due to the devil clan. Please allow for the angels to come support us!"

The head advisor of the human clan was a young man of 26 who was a commoner. His name was William. He was eight years older than me. I had appointed him as head advisor due to his genius war tactics and immense knowledge. His amber eyes and black hair sparkles under the candlelight. I yawned. Due to the recent devil clan activity I have not been getting any sleep.

The head advisors continued to bicker and slam their hands on the wooden table in the middle of us. Frankly I was exhausted as my duty as Queen If both the Angel clan and Human Clan. My father was an angel as a King and my mom was a human as the Queen. Their sudden deaths caused by the devil clan have put me in this predicament. It felt like it was just yesterday that I was worrying about my waist size. Now I was worrying about the amount of devils infiltrating both the Angel and Human Worlds.

I stroked my chin. Why did the devil clan choose to act now? They haven't been active since their defeat a hundred years ago. It must be due to t he or new Tyrant ruler Edrius. Based on our inside information, Edrius has killed his entire bloodline and kin so that he could have the role of Devil King. I shivered. Such a man seems terrifying. I raised my hand. William and Micheal bowed to me before plopping down on their seats. They glared at each other from across the table.

"Micheal and William, is this really a time to be arguing? Instead of arguing the two of you should be spending this time to move past your differences and find a plan. Every second and word that you say worthlessly, a village in either the Angel or Human world is being destroyed by the devil clan. Stop you nonsensical bickering. Do I make myself clear?"

Micheal and William nodded. I sighed.

"William's idea isn't bad but it isn't effective. Instead we must send out the Royal guard."

All twelve members of my advisory board stood up and voiced their concerns. I struck my scepter on the ground. The room silenced as the advisors sat back down.

"The royal guard is a team of my strongest 1000 men who are both angels and humans. I understand that they are meant to protect me but more important than myself is the lives of my people. I do not sleep at night as the souls of those killed by the devil clan haunt me. I must avenge them and destroy this pest Edrius. Micheal and William go and pass an official decree summoning Hector the lead of the Royal guard. You are all dismissed now."

My advisors bowed before they left closing the large doors behind them. I sighed. Lord was I exhausted. Due to being half Angel I have a certain magical index trapped in my scepter. I have saved up my mana so that I could use it in a situation to save my people. I truly do love them. All of them. The good, the bad, and the downright criminal. Every life lost feels like I have lost one of my children. It saddens and pains me. I stood up and walked towards the door. I need to meet Hector in the Royal Guard court. As I opened the large doors an unfamiliar person faced me. I stepped back in surprise.

The individual had crystal blue eyes and long black hair which fell in curls. He towered over me in both size and menacing aura. He was handsome yet had an evil smirk. Red wings protruded from his back. I felt nauseous as I realized who it was. I backed up and bumped into the table. I looked around me to see how I could escape this room. The individual in front of me closed the door behind him as he smiled and walked closer to me. He knelt and kissed the top of my trembling hand.

"I'm honored to meet the Queen of the Angel and Human World. My name is Edrius Rucin, I am the Devil King."

My knees wobbled as he stood and smiled at me. The scene of my parents bloody corpses as I cried flashed in my mind. It was because of this bastard that I had lost everything. It was because of him that my children and people were dying. I pointed my scepter as I calmly exclaimed.

"I, Queen Rayne shall now eradicate you Edrius Rucin. Go back to hell and never come back."

Edrius chuckled as he touched the end of my scepter. He then leaned in and whispered.

"How interesting. Why don't we have some fun my beautiful, brazen Queen?"
