The Devil Tyrant's Sweet Angelic Wife

I jumped back as Edrius chuckled. His large red wings flapped as he glided over next to me. I closed my eyes and felt my mana circulate through my body.

"Bless the grand angel Arceus. Give me the strength to enlighten."

A second later I felt the rush of mana as light beams emitted from my scepter. I opened my eyes to see several small holes in Edrius's wings. He chuckled as they healed a second later. I bit my lip. What the hell? I've never heard of this man's rejuvenation power.

"Is that all you've got human? I've really had high hopes because of your pretty face. I guess that I was wrong. How sad."

A second later I coughed out blood as Edrius struck my abdomen with his claw-like hands. I fell to the ground as an intense pain filled my body. Crimson dropped from my mouth to the ground below. Edrius chuckled as he knelt down and pinched my chin. He then tilted my head upwards and planted his lips on mine. My body trembled as I felt my mana leave my body. Edrius then released me as I fell to the ground limply. He licked his lips and said huskily.

"My dear your life force seems to be the sweetest that I have ever tasted. What is it about you that makes me tremble?"

I laboriously breathed as I struggled to stand. Damn it! This devil had managed to seep away my remaining mana. I looked up at him as he watched me with deep interest. His wings flapped as he smirked. I clenched my fists. This devil was mocking me! I hadn't planned on using my secret spell but this was my only chance.

I spit blood once more as I drew a quick magic circle on the ground. Edrius burst out into laughter as he watched me.

"What are you doing? My dear you have clearly lost, don't hurt yourself any more. Due to catching my fancy I will assure you with a swift death."

I ignored him and struck the ground with my scepter. The whole room lightened as long wisps of leaves appeared. Thorns grew out of their sides as they surrounded Edrius. Panic filled his face for a second as he struggled to free himself from the plants which rooted him to the ground. Blood continued to seep down my abdomen as my wound worsened with my magic use. Even if I were to die I will be taking this devil with me.

Edrius screamed as he was bathed in light. The stalks of thorned plants pierced his body in every direction. My vision started to blur as I felt my consciousnesses slip. As I fell to the ground. The last thing I saw was Edrius freeing himself from my spell and walking towards me with black mist surrounding him.

"My dear Queen Rayne, congratulations you have managed to piss me off. Can you handle the consequences?"
