The Doctor Who Loves Me

"How come Dr. Song get the chance to accompany Dr. CEO in that conference?" asked Dr. Rio with an upset tone. 

"Because she's the one famous lately?" guessed Dr. Kim because it was true that Dr. Deyna Song, among all of them was the best surgeon the Yang Hospital ever had.

"You all already changed turns in representing our hospital in every conference so I thought this time, Dr. Song should take this opportunity to attend. It is my decision… Are you questioning it?" said Dr. Gong firmly that made the rest shut their mouth especially Dr. Rio. She could not believe how lucky Dr. Song to accompany their Dr. CEO and she was unlucky to miss such a great opportunity to be with her ultimate crush.

"Well, if I'm Dr. CEO, I would choose Dr. Song among all the female surgeons in here," commented Dr. Ye brazenly that made Dr. Rio crumpled her face.

"Let's see if you will say that once she knock you out inside the operating room. I heard that Dr. Wang is not the last one who get kicked out…" murmured Dr. Rio with pouted lips because although Dr. Song was undeniably beautiful, her character was simply fearful. It was like there was no room for mistakes whenever she was inside the operating room.

Dr. Kim interrupted and said in jest, "I heard Dr. Song is asking for your assistance Dr. Rio. She will have another crucial operation tomorrow…"

Dr. Rio rolled her eyes as she proudly said, "Excuse me! I'm a capable Doctor and focussed on what I'm doing so don't you dare jest about me being kicked out. How about I kick you out now Dr. Kim?"

They were bantering like that in the Department of Surgery private room for doctors when Yera arrived so the doctors inside immediately behaved. For some reason, most of them felt Yera was the serious type so they were avoiding dropping nonsense jokes whenever she was around.

"Dr. Song, please don't forget to bring us some thing once you returned from the conference. I heard that they have nice souvenirs in that country." Commented Dr. Rio with blinking eyes.

Yera nodded and gave her a half smile as she said, "Hmm tell me in particular what you want and I'll get it. All of you just message the particular souvenirs you guys want."

The team was having a good conversation at the Department of Surgery's haven when Shaira who received a telephone call from the lobby said, "Dr. Gong, new interns are already in the lobby."

Dr. Gong nodded while Dr. Ye murmured, "Oh, please give us beautiful interns at least as prettier as Dr. Song." Dr. Rio shook her head and said jokingly, "Haha, I heard there are more males so goodluck with chanting Dr. Ye."

The interns arrived and Dr. Gong introduced each of the doctors present that time in their department. Yera saw a familiar face, he was an intern named Dion Chen. She wondered if she had met him before somewhere but then her thoughts were interrupted by the ringing of her mobile phone so she excused herself to answer it.

Yera had an emergency operation that day so she had to stay late in the hospital. She told Xander that she would rather sleep in his office than coming home to the mansion. She already had some spare clothes she left in Xander's private room since he left the other side of the closet vacant saying she could use it.

She was massaging her nape as she walked towards the hallway going to Xander's office. She checked first the surrounding and upon making sure that no one was around she opened the door to the reception using his password. Then she went directly into his office and his private room.

"Shhh, it's just me darling…" whispered Xander in her ear. Yera abruptly rose and hissed, "Are you trying to give me a heart attack? Why didn't you tell me you'll be here? Why are you here?"

"Hmm, I don't want to sleep alone so I waited for you here. I thought I'll surprise you… Hehe sorry you get startled instead. Lie down and let's go sleep now." Said Xander as he gently pushed Yera back on the bed and he immediately followed hugging her waist

Yera sigh she was too tired to even move and her eyes were already heavy… "By the way, Lyndon called…" she sluggishly murmured. 

"Why?" Asked Xander with a gloomy face as he tightened his embrace at Yera then he buried his face on her neck, absorbing her scent.

"He wanted to meet once more if possible. He said, he forgot some important things. Maybe I'll meet him after our vacation. I will go to sleep now." Murmured Yera with her eyes already closed.

Xander let out a long deep sigh. It seemed he needed to move faster because a competition seemed to rise.

"Darling…" Xander muttered.

"Hmm," Yera answered in her light sleep.

"Uhm never mind, go sleep… Goodnight." Xander whispered as he gently gave Yera's neck a peck kiss.
