"Son, I think you and Yera need at least one week off. I mean your marriage is so sudden so why don't you go on a honeymoon at least?" suggested Senior Yang as they were having dinner.

Yera coughed as her face almost turned red like a cherry. She forgot that Senior Yang did not know anything about the contract she and Xander had agreed with. She drank water and was about to say an alibi to turn down the suggestion but Xander spoke.

"That's a good idea dad. I should do that and have Ron arrange one immediately. Spending a week solely with my wife is what I would want to do." Seconded Xander with a wide grin on his face as he ignored Yera's sharp look at him that threw daggers at him.

"But father, the schedule right now is a bit toxic at the hospital," murmured Yera because that was true. She had a lot to do and could not afford to be on a vacation for a week.

"Nah… that's why you need to relax more and enjoy marriage life. Don't let work become a hindrance. Don't worry dear, I'll make sure the hospital is running well while you and Xander is on a honeymoon. Work on for my future grandchild instead of a hospital work… I'm old already and that's the one wish that I wanted to be fulfilled before dying..." Sermoned Senior Yang.

Xander could definitely hug his father for the brilliant idea he dropped. Of course, he wanted to do it, but then he knew Yera would reject if he was the one to propose such a thing. His father never let him down with his fast thinking when it came to things like this..

Senior Yang looked at Yera and added, "Don't say no to this old man because I already prepared everything and made all the reservations for the two of you. Consider it as a gift from your father-in-law… Hmm, I'm actually disappointed with my son that he got married in secret but then your situation should be taken into consideration. So I will be pleased if you to take time to relax at least a week and enjoy each others company. And don't forget to make sure to do everything so I'll be called Grandpa soon."

Yera turned deep red really hard with Senior Yang's last words while Xander was grinning and smiling ear to ear.

As soon as they were inside their room Yera confronted Xander and said, "I can't go on a vacation. I just entered Yang Hospital and it's not good if I'll take a leave that long…"

"Hmm, don't worry… I'll take care of it. It's so easy, I'll tell them you will have to attend a conference abroad with me. Dr. Gong recommended you. Darling, if there's a will, there's always a way…" said Xander as he chuckled excitedly.

Then he pouted his lips and continued, "Just this once please? My father will be disappointed if we turn down his effort really. He may seem very jolly like me but he's actually a s.e.n.s.i.t.i.v.e person when it comes to things like that."

Yera's expressionless face was so unreadable that Xander was chanting inwardly, "please let her agree… please let her agree… Or make her nod…"

Yera sighed as she looked intently at Xander's begging eyes. Senior Yang was too good to her that she did not want him to feel down if what Xander was saying was true.

Another sigh escaped her mouth as she said, "Alright then take care of everything. I don't want an image of a truant doctor sticking in my name so make sure I will leave for work instead and not a vacation."

Yera was startled when Xander pulled her for a hug out of the blue as he happily said, "Thank you! Yes, I will take care of everything. Father will surely be happy…"

"Let go of me or I may change my mind," Yera murmured subconsciously because she was feeling tense with Xander's tight hug. SHe was afraid it might lead to something more. Because Xander was a very dangerous person for her. He often did whatever he wanted to do… he would do things regardless of what it was as long as it was into his liking. That was what she observe...

Xander immediately released her and held her shoulders before saying, "Hmm… You go rest first and I'll check with what he prepared for our vacation."

"You look too excited," Yera could not help but comment.

"Of course I am…" said Xander grinning as he kissed Yera's nose and ran quickly the door before Yera would fire him with her icy blast stare. Then he walked to his father's room whistling. He should reward his father generously for this. A week of vacation with Yera was an opportunity for him to get closer to her… to capture her heart...

Meanwhile, Yera stood still to where Xander left her while she stared at their door where Xander exited. Then she bit her lip, for some reason, she had no energy to get irritated whenever Xander would do things like that to her. Perhaps, she was also get used to it already since Xander was always sweet towards her and would often steal small kisses whenever he could.

Yera heaved a long sigh of confusion… She had mixed emotions that she did not bother to name them… Or rather, she was afraid to name those emotions...
