The Emperor Is Searching

It's been four hours since the Emperor sent the message and still yet no reply, this makes him anxious and anyone who sees him will know this because he's pacing his chamber up and down.

Kleila is all he could think about and sometimes, he thinks she might be driving him crazy for he worries so much about her to the extent that it scares him.

He knows he can't stay just one place without knowing how the search is going, he knows he won't sleep peacefully if he isn't there looking for Kleila also and this makes him made up his mind.

He dropped down a blank parchment that he was holding and begin to head out.

He planned on telling his mother to take care of his people while he's gone after he must have let out all his anger and frustration, but just as he decided this, his bird arrived.

It stood at his window where he went and collect the scroll from it's legs and read it hurriedly.

"Your Highness, we searched the entire sea and ship, we checked all the dead body faces but we didn't find Kleila's. Right now, I and the other nineteen guards are looking for her among the living. Il-sung drew twenty pictures of her with the help of his apprentice and we will be using this as the face of our search.

Your humble servant, Hyungsik."

After reading this, the Emperor sign in relief for Hyungsik message states that there's hope.

He folded the scroll back and place it among the others, he got up and begin to go to his mother's room.

What his mother did to Kleila still upsets him and he wants to let her know never to meddle in his affairs without his permission.

Immediately after eunuch Myung-yong announced his arrival, he entered and order the maids in his mother's chambers out.

His mother is sitting on her mat, a parchment in hand but when her son came in, she discard it.

"Son.." The Empress began to say but her son interrupted her by speaking at the same time purposely.

"I will be gone for an unknown period of time, I'm going to find Kleila." He said but the Empress disagrees with him.

"You can't leave the throne empty over a woman who's dead, what will I tell the Elders when they find out ..don't son you will only..."

The Emperor looks at his mother in anger and this made her stop talking "I will be leaving first thing tomorrow morning and while I'm gone ..I want you to take care of things. I will be back with Kleila.!"

The Empress looks at her son, trying to figure him out but couldn't. "I sent her out because I don't want her here and I still do not!" The Empress said furiously.

The Emperor moved closer to his mother. "She's my woman, my woman and I don't care if you don't want her here! I'm getting Kleila back and I will be making her my consort."

Immediately the Emperor said this, his mother stood up in shock and anger. "She isn't good for you, she has no significant status! I won't support this!

"She loves me mother and she doesn't need any significant status for she has my love!

Yes I love her mother." The Emperor clarified when his mother gasp in shock at his declaration of love towards Kleila.

"She makes me happy mother. Can't you see that this past few days without her here has been hell for me, I can't sleep. She's everywhere but not with me, I love her mother."

The Empress yelled No in anger before moving much closer to the Emperor, she raised her hand to touch his check but he stopped it halfway.

The Emperor looks his mother in the eyes, his eyes filled with desperation and longingness ..while that of his mother is filled with anger. "I love her mother, do you know how long it took me to accept this? I battled with myself over and over for I know I shouldn't have such feelings for her but I have them already, I can't help it and moreover, I don't want to." The Emperor finished and then begin to walk out but his mother stopped him by calling his name and saying alright.

After the Emperor turned back and his now waiting for her to continue.

"Alright but let your men find her. You going down there won't change anything. I have given my consent son but please don't leave, let them find her alive first." His mother plead and this made him have second thoughts and much later, he agreed with his mother and left.

Immediately the Emperor left, all the maids that left when the Emperor came in entered. The Empress then called eunuch Myung-yong who always stands outside of her chamber and when he entered, after bowing in respect, she says. "Go to the speaker, tell him to set a meeting and invite only the higher ranked titled men who has a grown daughter. They're to come with their daughters for my son is ready to settle down.
