The Emperor Is Searching

"Tell me again why we're still arguing over this." Nena asked moving about restlessly while holding the Emperor's two hands.

The Emperor freed one of his hands and began to touch Nena's left cheek. "I want to do right by you, my love."

Nena sign. "But I want this. I want to go in alone and I want them to hear the news of our engagement when they're all together ..in a family gathering.

 Let me tell my parents about the invitation at your place and also tell your mother ..please Ji-Hyun, please let her stay and see me and my family before she goes. You said your Kingdom is far from here ..please." Nena said while looking him in the eyes, pleadingly.

When the Emperor said 'alright." Nena let out a joyous yell. She kisses the Emperor's hands and turns to enter her compound, but remembers something and turns back, she grabs hold of the Emperor hands again. "We promise each other that both our parents will be present and our engagement shall be discussed during a shared dinner." 

"Anything that makes you happy." The Emperor replied and Nena smiled, but then again remembered something.

"And we promise we shall discuss our two marriage ceremonies." Nena paused to smile at the mention of their marriage ceremonies, before she continued. "We will have the first marriage ceremony here with my parents and also spend two weeks with them before we go to your Kingdom and do the same, but I will be staying there with you forever. My mama and papa will visit me and we will also visit them. 

I'm so happy." She said smiling widely, her eyes speckling, showing how excited she is. In her excitement, she hugs the Emperor again, making it the fourteenth times. "Mama and Papa will be so happy and more when they learn that I've thought about the living arrangements."

"Nena." The Emperor called.

Nena looked up at him. "You don't seem too happy with my ideas, you don't seem happy at all. Why aren't you as excited as I am." Nena asked and then she began to panic when the thought of the Emperor not wanting her anymore crossed her mind.

"Whatever you're thinking right now, stop it. I love you and I remember every words we discussed this morning and I will say it at the table in the presence of both our parents. Now go in before your parents starts worrying." The Emperor said and Nena nod and began heading inside her compound slowly because she's thinking and thinking hard.

"Nena."

Nena heard her name and turned, she smiled when she saw the Emperor smiled at her . "I love you." The Emperor said and turned, then began to head back to his own home.

Nena stood where she was for a while, she was smiling. She was so excited and then she excitedly ran inside her compound.

She stopped at their front door for the second time and turned back to look at the camels. This is the third time she has looked at the camels.

"Strange." She mused. She finds the camels with loads of goods weird because first, they don't use camels in her town and she has only read about them in books. Then secondly, who could be the owner?
