The Factory's Secret

Chapter 35 - A New Mission

Since the ship had been completed, Jo had suggested many names for the ship, but every one he thought was good weren't what their friends liked. Caro had started working on a program that was a DNA detector for the ship. It would be the most useful tool to find Luna and Lena's parents. It wasn't fully done yet, but Caro was hopeful to find something very fast. The sisters helped a little, but they were more concentrated on finding them on the internet or even on household contracts in some site that would have something helpful like a place or a something they owned that could've helped them.

They all joined in the cafeteria of the school to talk about possible important discoveries they could've made.

"Lena and I didn't find anything in the last two websites we checked but the first one had a little something. We'll dig it up maybe it can lead us somewhere." Luna exposed.

"Okay you girls do that I will work with Madd on the program for detection of DNA. Mike and Jo try to find a name that isn't so goofy okay?" Caro said to separate tasks.

After they all agreed and ate, they got back to their tasks, ready to work.

"I wonder if we can find an AirCnC reservation they ever made to go on a trip." Lena suggested.

"It's AirBnB you dummy. And I'm pretty sure it didn't exist in that time." Luna laughed a little.

"Yeah you're right... And what's that agency helping sell that's commercial always play?"

"Is it something like 'Sell The Right Way'? It exists since 1981 I think, they say it in the ad. We could search it. Do you have their website?" Luna asked.

"No but we could just turn on the TV. I'm sure we'll get it right away." Lena said turning on the little television.

As they were waiting for the ad, Luna tried different websites that could be the one. Nowhere she could find the names she wanted.

"I'm starting to think our parents name, that Caro discovered, are changed names. They hid every little step off their plan all the way. I would have difficulty thinking they didn't change their names to make sure they wouldn't be found." Luna started thinking.

"I wouldn't have any problem understanding that decision. They are criminals what they did up to the supercomputer was totally illegal. In fact, you know what I feel like right now?" Lena asked a little foolishly.

"What just say it." Luna asked impatiently.

"I feel like we've been total fools not to see something that was right under our feet. It's like when you trip on something you didn't see. It wouldn't have happened if you were more attentive. I feel like if they didn't know they were going to lose everything, they wouldn't have planned all these things that got us messing around these websites. I think the next step is to explore the tunnels they made up going to the factory and to cartography them. We know there are two tunnels we know. One in the school's park, relying on the sewer's way to there and one in the school's heaters room." Luna, who was carefully listening until now intervened.

"Hey wait. Those two tunnels come from the same factory but separated from the sewers to the school's heaters. But why would their tunnels both be in the school if they were not welcomed there. I think we got to check the school archives as well to check if there are files at their names." Luna finished Lena's sentence.

"That's exactly what I was just thinking. If you're not a student a parent or a personal member, you can't be allowed in the school. So they surely had something here that would let them in."

"And when they were finished working, they weren't going home, but working tunnels!" Luna cut Lena again.

"They must've been teachers. Teachers get dorm! John has one from what I know... And when the tunnels were done, they moved to the supercomputer and built it all after the tunnels."

"Wow we are so bright!" Luna said.

"No we're not, I can't believe we hadn't figured that out already." Lena smiled at her.
