The Factory's Secret

Chapter 36 - Researchers

Since they figured everything out, the twins spent all of their time in their rooms to dig up informations. They found an old photo of who they thought was Diana. They didn't get anything of their father, but apparently, Diana, their mother, once was a marathon runner and she was a champion in her discipline. She had to retire early after getting pregnant, at 28. After that, she ran an electoral campaign as deputy in her native nation, Canada. The question they were trying to answer now was; Where was the father of her two daughters and collaborator on the supercomputer's project. They hadn't searched a lot since they discovered that on their mother. Right now, they were considered orphans, so they changed last names and took a fake one, Robertson, waiting to find the real one. Even if the champion marathoner was really their mother, they wouldn't even know yet for sure the real one. They tried to find out more about their father, but there was nothing that matched Diana's name which was Simpson. They thought maybe if they put their father's name with Simpson they would find something, but apparently Diana either didn't change her name or they didn't get married. Their father wasn't as known even if marathon isn't the most popular discipline, but they still thought they would find something. They found the police's website. They hacked the computer system to program a machine that wasn't theirs and tell it what to do even with a distance. With that program they would get data without any trouble else than getting through the police department's system, which wasn't so complicated. They typed 'NAME OF FATHER' . Four names popped. They knew what they had to do next.

Caro started preparing a mission in the ship to find possible ADN fragments of the parents. They called the others to come and they got to the factory very fast. They all virtualized and got to the ship. As Luna and Lena discovered their mother's informations, they decided to call the ship 'The Marathoner'. As they were getting in place in their own Mini-Subs, Caro announces she would stay behing her computer for this voyage, to be able to give the position of possible fragments by receiving the sonar's message. They dove in the numerical substance.

"It didn't change since last time. It's so beautiful." Xina said.

"It's an upside down underwater city. You have to expect everything under there keep your eyes wide open." Caro told them.

As Caro kept researching, she found nothing but other signals from other worlds. When she found something, it was from the Ex's and the O's.

"I got something." she simply exclaimed.

"Really?" Luna said.

"Wow! It wasn't that long!" Lena smiled.

"Well it's not sure yet that it's your mother. It's a little something, that I found. Follow the Ex's and the O's. I found they are in straight line. It's large. You can't miss it just follow it and see where it goes." Caro ordered.

They followed it prudently, but the line was still as large and big. They kept it going. Caro couldnt find anything else than what she had already found.

"Caro is it long until the end?" Jo impatiently asked.

"There is no way to tell for sure, but you've come a long way and you're almost at the end, if the particles don't make another line before you get there.

"I feel like we've been here for hours." plaintively said Mike.

Madd kept silence, trying to sleep. They kept following the giant line, hoping to find something at the end of it, hopeful it would be a good hunt.
