The Heavenly Crystal

Karl continued attracting low level beasts for the ladies to practice with and also to boost their levels. Fortunately, there were no high level beasts near the Eastern Road, so their level boosting went rather smoothly. The ladies also managed to level up several times after killing a lot of beasts. Aside from that, they gained valuable experience in hunting beasts which will greatly help them in surviving the current world.

They may be leveling up fast, but some beasts located at the very heart of a huge forest were also rapidly evolving with no rest. Even the undeads were swiftly evolving as well, mutating into some kind of terrifying creature that will strike fear on any onlooker.

At the entrance of Eastern Road, six youths can be seen moving at a steady pace. They occasionally encountered several beasts and undeads, but were instantly taken out by the ladies. They all had wide smiles on their faces as they killed them which made Roan's lips twitch several times.

"I didnt know that hunting beasts was this fun." said Athena as she slashed a Mutated Cat fearlessly. The rest if the ladies nodded their heads in agreement. Karl looked at Roan who just shrugged and smiled helplessly at him.

By approximately five in the afternoon, they returned back to the mansion. The girls were still excited from their hunting and they all can't wait to share their experience to the rest of the group.

"Karl, call Terrius and Mark for me please. It is time for a little celebration about their growth." Roan said with smile.

"Understood!" Karl smiled happily and went inside the mansion to look for Mark and Terrius.

Afte entering the mansion, Karl heard the ladies talking with the rest if the group about their experiences that afternoon. The group listened intently which looked quite comical for onlooking Karl. He smiled helplessly and called Terrius and Mark. "Terrius! Mark! Roan called you, he said that we should celebrate today's progress." Terrius and Mark looked at Karl and stood up to follow him outside.

"Is it finally time to grill my boar meat?" Terrius asked excitedly.

"That is highly likely to happen." Karl answered as he looked at the excited Terrius.

They walked outside and saw Roan waiting for them.

"Roan, what do you want us to do?" they asked him, obviously excited after hearing that they will be celebrating tonight. Mark smiled at them and replied "Terrius, you go get that giant boar and make sure to grill it properly."

"You can count on me Roan. I will grill a very delicious gigantic boar meat. Haha!" Terrius laughed loudly as he said that.

"Karl, help the ladies cook several dishes. You may use the beast meat we brought last time."

"Sure thing!" Karl answered loudly.

"And as for you Mark, look after Terrius, don't allow him to eat the grilled boar meat before we even start the celebration." Roan said with a serious face. Terrius blinked innocently and hummed softly as he walked away, while Mark followed him helplessly.

The group began cooking all sorts if dishes while talking excitedly among each other.

"Eh? Ayesha and Lily, I didn't know you girls were actually the daughters of the region's ric.h.e.s.t man, senior Gokongwei." exclaimed a sixteen year old young lady. Ayesha and Lily blushed after hearing that. Their faces turned crimson as they hurriedly covered the girl's mouth.

"Yes, our father is Gokongwei, and this mansion was his gift to us when we were still kids." Ayesha said as she looked at the inquiring gazes of her new friends. The women brought by Mark integrated themselves in the group, and were able to form friendship despite only meeting just recently.

"Lily, is it true that you like Roan?" asked one of the ladies, her name was Ann. Lily covered her face with both her hands from embarrassment.

"Who wouldn't like Roan? He is strong and handsome." Ayesha said with a lovestruck look.

"It seems like the sisters both like Roan." Athena teased them while laughing softly.

The ladies were happily talking with each other as they continued cooking the beast meat.

Terrius was grilling a gigantic boar while humming softly. Mark shook his head and smiled helplessly before he continued to grill as well.

Near the gate, Karl approached Roan who was looking at the rest. He handed him a cup of coffee and said "I knew you prefer coffee over juice, so I brought you that."

"Thanks.." Roan received the coffee and felt its warmth. He then looked at the group who were excitedly cooking and said softly "I hope it will always be like this." Karl looked at him and sighed "Yes, but I think that's hardly possible."

"Let them enjoy the night, because it might be long before we can be like this again." Roan replied as he blew air on his cup of coffee. Karl remained silent and just stared at the group with a smile.

"The grilled boar is ready! Haha!" a loud laughter reverberated inside the walls. They then all saw Terrius grabbing a big piece of grilled boar and taking a big bite. Mark pointed at him with an angry look, but Terrius continued eating and ignored him. The others laughed as they saw them like that.

"Let's go Roan." Karl said as he patted Roan's back. They both walked towards the group and Roan said "Let's all go eat everyone, and we will only stop when our bellies hurt." They cheered loudly and put all the dishes they cooked in one place. They gathered together to form a semi circle around he food, before they began eating.

"Roan, among the ladies here, who would you want as your girlfriend?" asked Terrius loudly. Everyone perked their ears eager to hear his answer, especially the ladies.

"I have no plans in finding a girlfriend currently." Roan answered emotionlessly. They ladies looked downcast after hearing his reply.

"Well, how about you Terrius? Among our friends here, who do you think is the most beautiful?" Karl asked Terrius teasingly.

Terrius smile vanished and was replaced by an embarrassed look which shocked the onlookers since he never showed that kind of appearance.

"Uhm.. Uhm, in all honesty, I find Athena attractive. The moment I saw her I was already captivated by her beauty. Her....." Terrius was about to talk more, but when he looked at everyone's smirk, he stopped talking and just continued eating his grilled boar. Athena looked at him abashedly, her face turning crimson red making her even more beautiful.

The group continued talking and joking among each other all night, and they only stopped when their bellies turned round from eating so much.
