The Imposter Princess

Chapter 8 - Swine Bank

Closing the door, Yin XinYi sighed. The Yin family and her were strangers now. She looked at her new identification card. It has barely a day yet she has already has a green card. This was the extent that Yin Hai was willing to go to warn her not to return to Country 86 anytime soon. Her phone notified her again. It was the 10 million dollars being transferred in her bank account.

Yin XinYi was originally very tempted to reject the money however, by rejecting it, it would be extremely suspicious. After all, the Yin family thought that she had no other source of income and she has no job experience.

Of course, Yin XinYi wasn't unprepared for this situation at all. She had never hoped for this to happen but when she was younger, she knew she had to prepare for situations such as this one. After all, she was just an adopted daughter and the future was never certain.

She had a private bank account worth hundreds of millions. It couldn't compare to the Yins with their net worth of billions, however, it was better than nothing.

She had opened the account when she had turned 18. However, the amount of money in their was the acc.u.mulation of more than simply three years. At age 16, she had already invested in the stocks of many new businesses and people. Today, they were worth hundreds of millions, some were even worth billions.

Yin XinYi was actually a genius when it came to business, however she never showed off. Rather, she was very low key. She knew that if she showed her skills, the elders of Yin family would use her. Although, she loved her family, her bottom line was being manipulated. It was one of the reasons why she was so enraged when she had gotten framed.

XinYi hated the idea of working in an office everyday but loved money to no end, therefore, she invested in stocks secretly. At the young age of 16, she was underage to create her own account to sell and buy stocks online, so she had one of her oldest, most trusted friends create one for her. He is three years older than her.

The Yin family didn't know anything about her oldest and closest friends. She met them when she was very young, back when they were still children. They went through a lot together. Now, they all lived in a different country from her. She hasn't seen all of them in person for a few years but they were always updated with each other's lives.

Yin XinYi, in Country 86, had very few connections and even fewer friends in the country. However, last night when she called them, no one picked up. When she was at her lowest, they all left her. Thinking about it, Yin XinYi got enraged. She was done being sad about it and was rather glad her fake friends left her life.

Yin XinYi pulled out her laptop and an ordinary looking flash drive. After turning on the laptop, she plugged in the flash drive. The screen flickered and a new application opened. It covered her entire screen. It prompted her for a username and password. She quickly logged in.

It was a messaging application to her five closest friends. It was highly protected and everyone in the group had a flash drive for the application. It was exclusive to them only. It was the safest method to contact them. At the time that she logged on, no one else was online. In the chat, she simply informed them about her disownment and new living area. Three of them lived in Country 1, one lived in Country 33, while the other lived in Country 81.

Yin XinYi logged off and went online in search of a new home. She couldn't always live in this hotel. After an hour of searching, she found a satisfying one. It was a penthouse in a newly built luxury apartment building. It was in a high-end area of the city with great accessibility. It costs $79.8 million. She quickly scheduled a meeting for tomorrow to buy the penthouse.

Feeling peckish, she left the hotel with her important doc.u.ments, card key for the suite and her wallet. She had to go to a bank first. Luckily, the international bank, Swine Bank was within walking distance. She strolled through the city, admiring it before arriving at the humongous building which was the bank.

Yin XinYi entered the bank. The Swine Bank was catered towards the upper class. They had a side branch, Vine Bank, for those of the middle and lower class. The requirements for Swine Bank was very strict. One must either have an income of aleast one million dollars, an initial deposit of five million, or a recommendation from a gold or black card holder.

Swine bank has different colors for different membership tiers. The first tier was bronze. One must have an income of one million or five million in their account. The silver tier was for those who earned a least 50 million annually and must withdrawal from the bank at least five million annually. The gold tier was for those who earned one hundred million or higher. They must withdrawal twenty million annually. The last and highest tier was the black. The only way to be black tiered member, was to get a recommendation from another black tiered member and to get it approved by the owner of Swine bank. There was almost no restrictions for that tier except the recommendations. However, getting a recommendation was hard, and getting it approved by the owner was even harder.

No one knew who owned Swine bank. It was a bank so powerful that the Long family in Country 86 had no information about them, must less the government. There were very few black tier members of Swine bank in the world. Less than twenty compared to the hundreds who owned gold membersh.i.p.s.
