The Kings

2 Welcome Back To Hell

"You're late." I snapped at the wine stealer, snatching back my glass cup and tilting it upside down in hoping that there was at least one drop left.

"I'm sorry, beautiful." he smiled, putting his right elbow on the table and resting his head on his hand.

When I saw that radiant smile on Julian's face, I couldn't continue staying mad at him with those beautiful emerald green eyes. Tsk, he knew my weak spots were his eyes and that smile. But those eyes matched perfectly with his ashy silver hair, and of course, that was not his real hair color. You would think that it was the color of the hair that stood out, but it was actually his long slender legs. After all, he depended on these legs for his income.

"Here is a gift as an apology," Julian reached into his pocket and took out a diamond bracelet from his suit pocket.

He put the bracelet around my thin wrist. My eyes didn't even take notice that the bracelet Julian got me actually costed millions of dollars. Instead, I just got down to business.

"Have you heard?" I asked, playing with the empty glass cup.

"Of course." Julian chuckled, closing in the space between us. "Anong, you haven't changed at all." He changed the topic and continued to whisper into my ear, "I haven't seen you for a whole entire year, and you're still so beautiful. Especially in that outfit."

My long black hair was in a messy low side bun with loose waves. I wore a purple dress covering my shoulder half-way, and it flowed down into an elegant sweetheart neckline. It was a snug fit which was meant to draw attention to my breast but gracefully and elegantly. I gave him a cold smile and tucked my loose hair behind my ears. Also giving him the 'I know' look.

"Now, give me a welcome back." Julian stuck out his face closer to mine, just a few more inches and our lips will be touching. I moved back instantly giving us a nice distance. He pouted in disappointment, "You're so cruel!"

"Between us, we already know who is the cruelest one," I leaned over and whispered into his ear, tracing my fingers on his chest, and with my free hand, I grabbed my purse off the bar counter. Before closing the doors on my way out, I turned around and gave Julian a real smile from the bottom of my heart. "Welcome back to hell, handsome."
