The Kitsune Demon

Waking up Naruto surprisingly doesn't feel any pain. Taking off his shirt all his pervious wounds and splinters disappeared from his body. Walking over to his bed the chain dragging behind him he collapses from the mental trauma he went through. Those two lines repeated over and over in his head, taunting him. Why was he subject to this pain, did his parents do anything. No, it was a simple fact that had been repeated to him every day he was a rabid animal and rabid animals are killed on sight.

Once again that warm feeling spreads throughout his body comforting him. " Was it you who healed my wounds " The energy pulses in confirmation. Closing his eyes he lays there as the energy takes him deeper into its warm depths. Naruto opens his eyes when he feels the air change around him. From the cold drafty air of the attic to a warm humid breeze. Around him is a dark room with a layer of water covering the floor.

Standing Naruto sees a large red jail cell, but he can't see into the bars. The inky blackness is broken by a large orange muzzle with two large red eyes on the side. For some reason, Naruto feels comforted by the presence of the large beast. The Aura it gives off was identical to the to his own chakra. Walking up to the cage more of the beast comes into view, it was a large nine tail fox with orange fur.

Arriving at the red bars Naruto places his hand on the wood, before taking a step back. " Thank you " Those two words echo throughout the dark space followed by a deep silence. " Why are you thanking me " Naruto feels his body vibrate from the fox's response. Taking a moment Naruto continues " For the first time in my life I felt safe, even when the old man used to visit I was afraid that he would just turn out to be just like Baba Yaga. But he stopped visiting me a year ago. And when I found that book that told me how to access my chakra, I thought maybe I could be strong. Like the shinobi, the old man told me stories about them. When I was able to access my chakra I felt like everything was looking up and after Baba Yaga hurt me you were the first thing in my life to bring me comfort. You even healed me when I was sleeping. "

Naruto has tears in his eyes as he pictures the duo. His sadness is broken by the words of the fox, " You weren't a random baby, they were your parents. Minato the Fourth Hokage, and his wife Kushina Uzumaki to seal me inside there own child, Minato's love for the village even out weight his own son. " Hearing the sentence ring around his head like a bell Naruto is brought to his knees. Tear streaming from his eyes as his last shred of hope disappears. That fact that maybe his parents didn't abandon him might have been a possibility was ripped from him. The sadness is slowly replaced by anger, how did the village take my place in my father's heart. The old man or the Hokage talked about the will of fire and how we had to protect the village. They brainwash kids to gain soldiers to fight for them. I have to get out of the village, but it wouldn't be easy since I am a jinchuriki. For me to truly escape I need to become stronger.

Rubbing the tears from his eyes Naruto gets back to his feet " Do you have a name " sitting back on its hind legs the fox says " My name is Kurama, I can see it in your eyes the resolution knowing that the only way forward is strength " Holding his palm out flat Kuruma pricks his finger causing a dot of blood to collect his fingertip. " Drink my blood and you will have the opportunity to become stronger than anyone, but you will lose your humanity " Without hesitation naruto leans forward cupping his hands letting the blood pool in his shaking palms. As he drinks, Naruto feels a burning pain spread throughout his body. Collapsing while clutching his stomach he hears Kurama speak once again. " Make them say your name in fear Naruto Uzumaki the Beast"

Naruto clutches his stomach as he swears that he would rule this world with his strength.
