Hinata walked differently from before when Hiashi had seen her last she was a meek girl not daring to make eye contact with anyone, now she had a purpose in her step and held her head high. Haishi smiled as he rejoiced that his daughter was back Hinata and Hiashi were seated in the main room both sitting on cloth pads as a branch member served them tea. When the young woman finished Hinata whispered her thanks before taking a sip of the tea. Leaving quickly the servent left them alone wondering if that girl was really Hinata, putting down her cup Hinata stared at her father " When I left my views changed on the world and I found someone to follow. One day in the future you're going to make a choice what that choice is I can not tell you, but if you choose wisely the Hyuga clan will gain power the other villages have not seen. "

Hiashi frowned at his daughter, " Can you show me proof of this power. You must understand how bold your claim is " From the first time since her reappearance Haishi saw unease in Hinata's eyes, " Can you promise me that you won't tell anyone about this " When he nodded Hinata dismissed her body-altering jutsu revealing her ears and tail, her father was shocked not at her new appearance but at how much chakra flooded his daughter's pathways. After a second Hinata used the jutsu again hiding her distinct features, " Is that good enough " Hiahsi smiled at his daughter then he laughed, " I guess that what I get for doubting you, well that enough business for today my daughter has returned " the Hyuga clan had a huge party celebrating the return of their heiress.

While Hinata was out visiting her clan Naruto was out in the village to explore the place which might one day be his enemy. One place that greatly interested him was a playground full of children his age, not having experienced a normal childhood Naruto was interested in other children his age. Dropping from the tree he was in Naruto walked over to the playground looking at the other children playing, there were four boys and two girls, three of the boys were playing together while the four was alone by himself. The group of three consisted of one boy with spike black hair, a fat one with brown hair, and a boy wearing a hood only exposing his eyes which were covered by googles. " Hey there, what are you guys doing can I join "

Naruto exclamation drew the attention of the group, " How are you we haven't see you at the academy before, what's your name " The boy with black hair spoke up apparently the leader of the group, " I'm Naruto Uzumaki nice to met you all can you tell me your names " the boy quickly named himself and the two others. They were Shikamaru, Chodi, and Shino, when Naruto asked about two girls, Skikamaru, said their names were Ino and Sakura when he asked the name of the dark-haired boy in the corner Shikamaru motioned him to get closer before saying, " That's Sasuke Uchiha since your new here I tell you that the Uchiha clan is one of the strongest in the village, Sasuke is the son of the clan leader "

" I'm surprised that you know so much about the clans " when Naruto said this Shikamaru sighed, " Yeah my dad had me study a bunch of stuff it was a drag " not waiting for Shikamaru to finish Naruto made his way over to this Sasuke figure, he wanted to see how strong the future clan head was going to be. " Excuse I heard your Sasuke Uchiha right " Naruto tapped his shoulder making Sasuke turn around and glare at the offender, the only reason he was was that his father forced him to make friends too improve the public opinion of the Uchiha clan. " What do you want " Naruto smiled at him not cowed by his glare, " I want to fight you " Sasuke blinked twice before he started to laugh it was so loud it drew the attention of everyone else in the playground. When he didn't stop Naruto started to get frustrated he hated people who mocked him, " Fine I'll fight you just don't start crying when you lose " Sasuke stood up standing right in Naruto's face making the kitsune even angrier, from behind him he heard shouts along the line of " Go Sasuke " and " I love you " turning around he saw the two girls Ino and Sakura acting as cheerleaders. Their shouts stopped when they saw Narutos face, he change into a royal kitsune had made him very easy on the eyes and he was sure to be a ladykiller when he grew up.

When Naruto turned his head Sasuke decided to strike hoping to teach the fool never to look away from his opponent. Instead of connecting with the back of Naruto's head, Sasuke felt like his hand had punched a wall in the blink of an eye Naruto had turned around and caught Sasuke's fist. " I guess we're starting now " Naruto smiled making Sasuke all the color drain from Sasuke's face.
