The Legacy Of Son Goku

It's been a month and a half since Haruto arrived in this world. In that time he decided to study about the world he was in by asking Fia or by having Elsie gathered informations from the town.

He was surprised to know when he learnt from Elsie that people reincarnated from other world were quite famous. Although it's not that common but it was not that rare either to the point that the people in this world would be shocked seeing one. This confirmed that this world was not isolated from other worlds like the dragon ball world.

Hearing that he also decided to tell Fia that he was an otherworlder when she asked about his origin. But even so he secretly knew that he was special among the otherworlders.

The otherworlder from this world went through a normal birth with a new parents in their lives. They were born with a small part of their previous life memories.

They wouldn't even remember their previous names, the exact detail of what kind of a person they once were, their previous family, even information about their worlds were vague. So other than affecting their mentalities' growth speed and gaining additional knowledge like cooking for example if they were a chef before, there weren't anything worth mentioning about them.

That's why otherworlders did not affect much by existing in this world. There's no way for them to revolutionized the civilization with limited memories thus the technology of this world were still in a middle ages despite having some people from modern worlds. But at least they managed to gain some insight from the information they received from such otherworlders although it was very vague.

But Haruto was different. Not only he was personally reincarnated into a grown a.d.u.l.t by the goddess Eisha and gaining powers from a wish he made to her, he also retained his full memories. Too bad he's not a genius scientist or something before, he was just an otaku high school boy.

When he knew that only nobles had a last name he was panicked. He didn't want to attract unnecessary attention by registering his full name on the guild. He immediately went to the guild and ask Rayne to remove his last name on his card along with Elsie's.

Fortunately the guild still hadn't submit the information to the higher-ups and he barely made it by coaxing Rayne a little.

If he ranked up to yellow rank before he made his request then the guild would already sent his profile to the higher-ups and acknowledged as a proper adventurer thus abandoning any hope to change his registered name....

He didn't tell anyone about his full name beside Rayne so there's no problem about it once his last name was removed from the guild card and their doc.u.ments. That was a really close one for him.

And that boy that nearly made a irreversible blunder was currently relaxing in a cafe. Beside him was Elsie enjoying a large parfaits with a blissful smile on her face while across him was Fia that made the same face while eating a huge portion of foods.

....So this world actually has parfaits and what the hell? How did Fia eat that much without getting fat? Was what he thought when he saw them. At least he could understand about Elsie since she's half spirit and half devil. Perhaps this was a unique traits of animal person? Well not like he could say anything to them since Saiyans were also the same. The goddess had removed his Saiyan appetite so he just ate moderately.

"I want to go to the capital."

He suddenly said such things, earning attention from the 2 girls around him.

"Capital? Why so suddenly?" Fia asked.

"Well I just thought it was about time if I want to improve myself." He replied.

"I follow wherever Kami-niisama goes!" Elsie chimed.

Actually before he went to the capital, he planned to underwent a Growth first. Different than this small town, the capital was full of strong people. There's no telling when that kind of people would clash with him there.

But in this month and a half he did not went through a Growth at all. The monsters around here were weaklings that not worth mentioning. Such beings like that giant mountain boar was a rare case and he did not find a similar quest after all this time.

Still it was weird, Fia went through 5 Growths in this kind of environment that's why Haruto too thought he could do the same.

He had a theory regarding this though. He suspected that it was because of his Saiyan traits. Eisha did mention about this too so he shouldn't be wrong.

Saiyan was supposed to get stronger quickly by fighting a 'Strong' opponents, not by dealing with small fries. That's why his Growth were stalled, he needed an opponent even stronger than that giant boar. Even if he Growth like this, the quality will be bad and his power wouldn't raise much.

Hence the reason he decided to go the capital. There would be a suitable opponents everywhere there as the center of the country compared to this remote town he was in.

Why not just go to other bigger town you asked? Well he would went through a few cities on the way and he planned to stay there for a few days to see how it goes.

"Hmm... indeed I think it's about time too."

Fia pondered for awhile before answering,

"Okay sure, let's go!"

"Eh? Are you sure? Aren't you worried about your family?"

Haruto perplexed against her answer. The reason she did not go to other places was because she did not want to leave her family alone. That's why Haruto - although he was sad - prepared to part ways with her.

Fia smiled bitterly while she said,

"Well about that I've already talked with my mom and siblings. They already know my d.e.s.i.r.e to travel around the world that's why some time ago they were coaxing me to just leave and said that they would be alright."

"...."

"They just won't give up and being very obstinate even scolding me and throwing tantrums sometimes even blackmailing me..... In the end I relent and agreed to leave."

"...But is that alright with you?" He seem concerned.

Fia shook her head.

"I would be lying if I said that I'm not worried but I decided to believe in them after seeing their efforts to convince me. Truly, they're just too good to be my family...." She said while her eyes turning wet and yet she also felt happy to feel how much they cared about her.

"...."

Haruto felt something tugging on his heart learning the care her family shown for her.

He too had a family that cares about him very much. His parents and his older sister too, he remembered all of them. All this time he would dream about his family when he slept. He missed them very much but there's nothing he could do. He died there and reborn in a completely different world, he's extremely worried of his older sister he left alone and felt guilty but there's no way to go back there.

His parents died a few years before him in an accident. Since then he lived alone with his sister in their house. Now that he died his sister was left alone, they did not have other relatives so Haruto was the only remaining family for her. His sister never shown it but he knew she's very sad and lonely that their parents were gone. Haruto tried his best to be by her side as much as possible so he could at least reduce her loneliness.

That's exactly why he felt very much guilt before he died and apologized to her for leaving her alone. He sincerely hope that she would be alright. Although he knew that she must be crying loudly and depressed when he died but she had to move on and found her own happiness.

Now the bonds within Fia's family really touched his weakest spot. He thought deeply and made a decision.

"...I think I can do something about that."

He decided to tell her about his Instant Transmission technique. With this no matter where they were, they could visit them anytime they want. He just need to have Fia escorted him to her family so he could recognize her family's energy and explained the circ.u.mstances to them.

Fia was extremely happy to hear this that her tears that she hold out all this time fell uncontrollably. She did not even question how he have such ability and just hugging him while she kept saying her gratitude. Haruto smiled and pat her head gently, Elsie too let out tears from her eyes and felt happy for her.

After some time she finally stopped crying and calmed herself. But her face was bright red and she was fidgeting, she's so embarrassed being treated like a kid even though she's considered m.a.t.u.r.e by her family. Haruto laughed seeing that and she turned even more red like a tomato. He kept teasing her for awhile before stopping after he saw her getting pissed.

Telling he wanted to go to the toilet, he left the place. Fia looked at his back and smiled softly.
