Countless people had their eyes on Ye Futian. Just a while ago, Yu Sheng and Ye Futian defeated the people of Heiyan Academy and saved the honor of Qingzhou Academy. In combination with his astonishing gift, everyone knew that the ban was as good as gone. These two young men were definitely going to be well-favored by the higher-ups of Qingzhou Academy.

Two months ago, it had been announced that Murong Qiu ranked first in the Fall Exams; now the academy was going to break tradition and alter its records by taking him off the ranks. This was sure to cause a huge ruckus. If the news got out, how was he going to look to the world? He would be a giant laughing stock.

There was not a word from any of the other students. They could not help but look over at Murong Qiu. It was true; he had had no right to be ranked first. When Heiyan Academy attacked, he had not even had the courage to step up and fight. Yu Sheng, on the other hand, had been able to do everything Murong Qiu could not.

"I object," Shi Zhong spoke up, he was not pleased. He stared at Ye Futian and said, "The results have already been announced, how can we change them so easily? Even though Ye Futian's performance today was impressive, we cannot ignore the fact that he used his victory in today's battle as a bargaining chip and threatened the academy. What's the use of having a student like this, even if he is immensely gifted?"

"Threatening the academy?" Ye Futian stared at Shi Zhong. It looked like it was Earth Elemental Pavilion Lord Shi Zhong who put Murong Qiu in the first rank position. It was most likely his idea to place the ban on Ye Futian as well.

As for Cabinet Master Leng Qingfeng of the House of the Swordsmen, he had always been friendly to Ye Futian. He probably had nothing to do with any of this.

Looking at Shi Zhong, Ye Futian could not hold in his smile, "I'm just an outer sect disciple, what ability do I have to threaten Qingzhou Academy? On the contrary, I would like to ask Pavilion Lord Shi Zhong, what have I done to offend you?"

"What do you mean?" asked Shi Zhong.

Beside him, Yu Sheng hummed in response. His eyes stared coldly at the elders, evidently unhappy.

"Let's go," said Ye Futian as he turned to leave, stepping into the white snow. Yu Sheng stopped his staring and followed closely behind Ye Futian.

In that instant, their backs looked lonely but their footsteps determined. From this, it was possible to feel the pride they had.

They were really leaving!

The elders were all dumbfounded. They did not expect Ye Futian to take this so seriously.

Suddenly the entire Qingzhou Academy started shaking

Rumble* Rumble*

"What's going on?" someone shouted in the crowd

"An earthquake?!"

The vast mountains around Qingzhou Academy is blown to bits from an unknown position.

"We're under attack! All students under the Awakening Plane leave Qingzhou Academy now!" Qin Yi shouted as he readied his spear

"An attack! Run!" someone shouted before running with all their might. Shortly after, the crowd of students panicked and followed promptly

"Futian! Yu Sheng get behind me!" Ye Wentian shouted as he prepared a barrier to protect them

"No, I need to find my fox!" Ye Futian replied before dashing off to find Hua Jieyu

"Damnit! Yu Sheng stay here and protect Feng Qingxue!" Ye Wentian shouted before dashing off to look for Ye Futian and Hua Jieyu

"Fox! Fox! Where are you?!" Ye Futian shouted

Blazing through the crowd of ant like figures, Ye Futian dashed with all his might to look for his lover even under attack by the enemy

After a while, Ye Futian spotted a familiar sillouhette and ran towards them as they too had spotted him and ran toward him at the same time

"Fox!" Ye Futian shouted

"Ye Futian!" Hua Jieyu replied as they stood face to face

"Futian! Jieyu! Let's go! Ye Wentian said as he dashed towards them and grabbed them by the waist then dashed back towards Yu Sheng's location

"Wentian, let us go we can get their ourselves!" Ye Futian said whilst in his brothers arm

"..."

"Yu Sheng is protecting Feng Qingxue right now we must hurry and reunite with them." Wentian said before increasing his speed

After a while, the trio appeared inside Ye Wentian's barrier that he had created out of Water Attribute and Earth Attribute Qi

Ye Wentian then let the two in his arms go before forming a stronger barrier around them

The students who had ran earlier managed to run to a certain distance before suddenly the ground below them exploded

Boom* Boom*

Sharp pikes made of Earth Attribute Qi stabbed through the stomachs of students whilst others were attacked from above due to a matrix

"No!" a student shouted before puking blood as his eyes lost its light

"Damnit! Students come back! We will create a barrier using all our strength around the stage!" Qin Yi shouted as he looked towards the Qingzhou academy elders and nodded

Shortly afterward, the elders along with Qing Yi gathered their Spiritual Qi and merged them together in a straight beam of multi-colored lights to form a giant shield around the stage and protected the students under siege

Feng Qingxue under Wentian's barrier panicked and started weeping, "Why! Why is this happening!? Just when Heiyang Academy leaves we are under siege!"

Ye Wentian and Ye Futian looked at each other without saying a thing then discussed the situation with each other out loud so that the other three around them could hear

"Hmm, Heiyang shouldn't be capable of such a large scale attack since we have been rivals for years..." Ye Wentian said with a frown

"That's right, not unless they had outside help. But would they do this after coming to our Academy and tried to show off their Mandate Sorcerer?" Ye Futian replied

"It's unlikely, how can Heiyan an academy in such a remote place manage to get outside help? What benefits will they gain from helping Heiyang? They couldn't have prepared this assault since they thought they were going to crush us then leave." Ye Wentian replied
