The Legend Of Wentian

Sitting inside his barrier, Ye Wentian and friends sat there and thought about the situation. After a while, the aerial assault on Qingzhou Academy stopped

"Hmm? Why did it suddenly stop?" Qin Yi pondered

"Should we release the barrier now? I'm running out of Spiritual Qi.." A Qiingzhou Academy elder said

"No we don't know when they will suddenly attack us again, they could be waiting for us to drop our guard then launch a surprise attack that may as well annihilate us all in a single shot." Qin Yi replied

Suddenly, above the barrier, a large scale array appeared and spun as it slowly released a huge ray of light down toward the barrier and penetrated it

"No! Use your remaining Spiritual Qi to strengthen the barrier!"

"Let's go!"

...

"Sh*t such a large array above us." Ye Wentian said

"Let me help you with the barrier." Ye Futian replied then stood up and sent his Spiritual Qi out and merged it with Wentian's Qi

"Me too." Hua Jieyu replied then matched the brothers Spiritual Qi pattern and merged the three's Spiritual Qi together and strengthened the barrier

Shatters*

The barrier used to protect the entire stage shattered like glass whilst Qin Yi along with the elders puked large puddles of blood

The large array stopped whilst the ray of light shrunk as it slowly went back up into the array and dissipated. Shortly afterward, another ray of light shot down and cracked the floor creating a large pit in the ground beneath them

A foot could be seen stepping out from the ray of light, a handsome young man wearing a strangely eerie colored uniform appeared and glanced at the crowd around him

"Who are you? Why did you attack us?!" Qin Yi shouted then puked a mouthful of blood

"Hpmh, you don't deserve to know!" the young man said

Another voice from the ray of light said "Cmon now, don't scare them too much." before stepping out and revealing the same uniform

"Why are you here? What did we do to offend you?" Qin Yi said as he felt the pressure from the two young men before him. He puked blood just from them stepping out from the ray of light which displayed how strong the men before him were

The first young man turned around then stepped to the side and said "Everyone come out now!"

"Yes, teacher!" multiple voices from the ray of light said in unison as they stepped out one by one from the light

"Teacher, why are we here again? Everyone here seems really weak and pathetic will we benefit at all fighting them?" a teen said as he said respectfully to his teacher

"Of course! Crushing insignificant ants such as they will surely raise your confidence won't it?" the young man who appeared from the light first replied

"I see! Thank you, teacher!" the teen said

"Hahaha!" the other students behind him laughed

"Alright, as you can see we're here to put our students against your students. Though only those under the Awakening Plane will battle here today. What do you think?" the teacher smirked and said as he looked toward Qin Yi and friends

"..."

"Looks like we have no choice.. But the only students who can fight are Ye Futian's trio along with Hua Jieyu..No matter how talented they may be, how can they beat so many students in the same Plane as them?" an elder said as he looked toward Qin Yi

"What if we don't agree?" Qin Yi questioned

The young man replied with just one word sending chills down their spines "Death."

"..."

"Looks like we can only rely on those four geniuses for us to survive today.." Qin Yi said as he looked toward the four behind him not so far away

Ye Wentian nodded toward Qin Yi then turned around and asked "Are you three prepared?"

"Of course." Ye Futian and Hua Jieyu replied

"..." Yu Sheng nodded whilst Feng Qingxue could only look toward the four before her who seemed to be living in a different world than she was

"Alright let's go then." Ye Wentian replied before releasing the barrier and stood up and walked in front of Qin Yi with the other three behind him

"So, I take it that you four are the most talented students in this pathetic place?" the teen from the unnamed academy teased

"That's right, so what if we are?" Ye Futian replied with a poker face

"Hahaha! You ants won't even last a single exchange with us!" the teen continued

"..."

"We'll see about that." Ye Wentian replied before looking at the Academy's teacher

"When will we begin?" Ye Wentian asked

"Now." the teacher replied

"So do you want to fight one on one? or perhaps the four of you want to fight together against four students from my side?"

Turning around, Ye Wentian asked "What do you guys think?"

"..."

"I don't know, we will have to fight either way but there are a lot of them.. Our Spiritual Qi might run out before making it through half of them..." Ye Futian replied

Ye Wentian nodded then turned and asked "What about you two?"

"Whatever Futian and you decide." the two replied

"Alright.. we need to make a quick decision brother.." Ye Wentian looked back

Ye Futian looked at the academy teacher and said "How many under the Awakening Plane do you have on your side?"

"One hundred and fifty in the beginning level, one hundred in the middle level and fifty in the upper levels of Awakening. Why do you ask? You couldn't be thinking that..."

"That's right, we will fight against all of them at the same time!" Ye Futian replied with a hint of arrogance on his face

"Hpmh trash like you guys won't even last one hit against our outer court disciples. Looks like we won't be needing to fight today." The first teen in the academy laughed

"Such arrogance! He really thinks little of us huh? Let's show him!" an outer court disciple shouted which rallied the other outer court disciples behind him

"Since you don't believe it then come! We're ready for you, four against three hundred and fifty!" Ye Futian replied with a hint of coldness

"Good, good! Hahahaha! To be able to find such an arrogant kid in such a remote place is really outstanding! You better be able to back up your own words!"

"All outer disciples prepare to fight! I will create a space large enough for all of you to fight in whilst the rest of us will enjoy the show." the teacher said

"Yes! Teacher!" the outer court disciples replied in unison

The mysterious academies teacher then stepped forward and made strange hand signals then suddenly a large cube made of Spiritual Qi formed in his hand. He threw it upward as it slowly expanded in size which eventually reached the size of the entire mountain area around Qingzhou Academy

He then used his other hand to create a teleportation array instantly which shocked the Qingzhou Academy teachers to death

"What! Did he create a teleportation array with just a wave of his hands? How is that possible? He even manipulated space with just his Spiritual Qi!"

One had to know that in order to create arrays, one must have great proficiency in it along with a vast amount of Spiritual Qi and great control over it. Even with that, it takes many years for a person to be able to create even basic arrays by themselves.

Being able to manipulate space was known throughout the continent as a myth and that throughout history only a few individuals that could be counted on a single hand existed. They too, however, were thought to be myths and stories passed down throughout the generations in order to motivate kids

Seeing the teacher before them creating such an advanced array that was even better than the current teleportation arrays placed around the center of the continent, they almost puked another mouthful of blood which could very well end their lives

The students then all jumped through the teleportation array and instantly appeared inside the space made by their teacher

Ye Wentian along with Ye Futian, Yu Sheng and Hua Jieyu followed shortly and stepped into the Teleportation array
