The Luckiest Mage Should Have A Harem

Chapter 23 - The Crown Part 3

"Leo Armice, are you really going to stoop so low."

Leo, Jackev,Zo, Warren, and even Lucy swirled toward the voice they heard. Leaning against the wall, a dark hood figure gripped a hilt.

Lucy grabbed Warren's pant leg, "We need to go Warren....now."

Leo rose an eyebrow, "And who are you, I made sure no one was around?"

A deep male voice spoke out, "I do apologize if I did interrupt, but I was passing through and happen to see something pathetic." The hooded figure stepped forward, "So how have you been nephew."

Leo felt his heart sink, as if his while world came crashing down. Why? Why was he here? What could be the reason someone so powerful appeared?

No....

The figure stalked forward, a slender almost feminine like body covered in the perfect white uniform. A lion depicted in gold around his c.h.e.s.t. His face was beautiful, something Warren never thought was possible to think of. He had long flowing gold hair tied neatly in a ponytail. Red eyes shining with the brightest emotion, perfect teeth moving,

"Surprised to see me? I mean it has been quite some time."

Leo hurried backwards, putting distance between him and his new found enemy. Jackev huffed and cracked his knuckles,

"Listen here pal, we are busy so if you don't want a few broken bones than I suggest you leave."

Zo also threw a stern look, "You should not meddle in people's business."

The man before them chuckled aloud, as if their words fell flat, bouncing off like air. Leo shook his head and grabbed Jackev's arm,

"Shut up and get back, now..."

Zo rose and eyebrow, "Why should we? This nobody is getting in our way."

Leo gritted his teeth, "That nobody is the prince dumbass."

Everyone fell silent, and the moon shone bright as Warren blinked a few times,

'AHHHHHHH!' He said in his head, Lucy also freaking out along with him. How were they supposed to deal with the prince and Leo? Warren thumbed his chin, thinking back to when he was at the bakery. Bart had said something about the prince.

He was a part of his class, that meant he was technically on his side, as he needs ties to pass the First Year Hunt. Warren brightened up and sighed, thankful that his situation just got a while lot more manageable. Well, he was honestly ready to take on the trio without any help.

The Prince glanced toward Warren, eyeing him suspiciously, "And what purpose do you have attacking royalty?"

Leo let his fear subside, "Royalty? This guy is a commoner, nothing more."

The Prince continued to examine Warren for a few seconds, wondering how he could mistake a commoner for nobility.

"Anyways good nephew, it would be bad if you three ganged up on a commoner, so I will bless him with a helping hand."

Leo grimaced, "What?"

The prince smiled, a perfect smile that has been refined since the moment he was born, "Oh I think its time we had our reunion nephew."

Leo swallowed hard and hardened his entire body in Fey, "But what about the ties? There won't be en-"

Everyone fell silent as thirty different colored ties fell from a leather pouch, the prince happily bowing as they fell to the ground.

"I will say it again, I only have come here because of you Leo. And what do I find, a noble harping on the weak."

The prince stood upright, his hand drawing a short sword, its blade glowing an ominous blue. The guard was encrusted in a golden lion, its eyes replaced by ruby.

Warren's fist bawled into a fist, a certain memory flooding back to him. As the air grew cold with conflict, a flare of golden energy sn.a.k.e.d outward.

Leo's eyes widened, the scene before him something he never even thought was possible.

Warren had...

Warren stood before the prince, being a few inches shorter he stared toward him with malice. If one glanced further down, the Mage had a fist just inches from the prince's stomach. His fist had been stopped by the prince, his off hand cupping Warren's.

They glared at each other,

"Who was weak?" Warren said with a smirk.

The prince withdrew his hand, and a small pillar of steam rose from his palm. He had barley managed to stop Warren's punch, and if it would of hit him, there would have been serious damage.

The prince donned a face of excitement, "What is your name?" He demanded.

Lucy nervously trotted away, knowing full and well that an all out battle was soon to happen. She was not in the mood to fight the big fishes before her.

Warren backed away, "Warren Alister, and right now, I want you to answer something."

The prince's hand quivered as he spoke, "And what might that be?"

The Mage grinned, "Let's make a wager."
