A man wearing a black outfit suddenly appeared in the mansion, he pushed the old butler who's name was Alfred away. And during a short amount of time, the man also tried kicking the intruder who was close to Alfred.

Averill caught the incoming kick with ease, and when Averill touched the armour, he could guess that it was rather hard and couldn't be broken easily by others. But, the already smiling Averill couldn't help but to laugh out loudly. "Ahaha! Why did you try kicking me?" Averill looked at the mask of the man, it looked like a bat to say the least. But for Averill, the costume only seemed weird and nothing special.

"You're asking me that!? You're an intruder of this home!" The man wearing the bat-ish costume – Batman, spoke in a deep voice whilst gazing sharply at Averill.

"Intruder? How can I intrude my own home?" The smile on Averill's face didn't vanish as he replied in a clear voice, yet the eyebrows of Averill slowly turned lower, clearly showing that he didn't have too much of a patience for someone who tried to attack him.

Batman felt a chill running through his entire body when he saw the eyebrows of the man in front of him lowering slowly but surely. He had already noticed that three unknown humans had arrived in this city that appeared in the sky, but he couldn't guess that they would aim for his home merely few seconds after coming to this city. Batman could tell that he would be defeated unless he had a plan for defeating them, therefore his only chance for winning was to retreat first.

"Alfred, we're leaving." Batman didn't turn his head around as he spoke in a deep voice. His eyes were only focused on the sharp eyes of the man in front of him, because Batman felt like that he would get ripped apart if he laid his eyes off him for a single moment.

Averill didn't do anything as he saw the weird guy wearing a costume walking backwards and leaving the mansion with the old butler who seemed to be called Alfred.

"Mhm… I find it weird, I thought you would have killed them the moment the batman wearing costume kicked you." Laura asked as she had a cold expression on her face like usual, she knew how Averill acted in her world, where he killed anyone and everyone for annoying him slightly.

When Averill heard Laura say that, he didn't disagree with her or even agree with her, he only turned around towards the cold looking Laura and Saitama who was looking at everything with a funny expression. "I need them for now, they will be useful for me to search for others with either strength or potential."

And by the weird gaze Averill got from Laura, he knew what she was thinking of without needing to think about it for too long. "At that time, I had no need for anyone in the previous world. But now I'm looking for people." Averill's smile was still apparent as usual. "I will be taking anyone that might be useful for me from now on."

The weird usual smile on Averill's face made him look even scarier when he spoke those words for Laura and even Saitama. Laura knew how frightening Averill was when he turned into a maniac, but in Laura's opinion, the calmer Averill was, the more dangerous he would be.

"Now, how about we look around our new home?" Averill didn't need to speak any more words than that before Saitama bolted away to gaze at his new home which was more of a castle than anything else in his view.

Laura shook her head as she was slightly dismayed by Saitama's reactions that didn't fit for a person as strong as himself. But for some reason, she also wanted to roam around and gaze at their new home as she had never had nice place to live in before meeting Averill who kidnapped her and placed her in the Avengers Tower for a few weeks.

Before Laura could look at Averill, Averill had already vanished from his previous spot. Laura tried sensing Averill in the mansion, but she couldn't find him anywhere, she then tried sensing him throughout the city yet still couldn't find anything. "Weird… perhaps he can hide his presence?" Laura mumbled in a weak voice before she turned around and went deeper in the mansion. Her eyes gleamed slightly the more she saw, everything seemed too great in her eyes.

Whilst Saitama and Laura were enjoying gazing at their new home, Averill had already teleported to the suburbs of the city. He stood in front of a shabby looking garage, Averill didn't wait long before a couple of humans wearing clown masks came out of the garage.

One of the clown guards spoke in a slightly deeper tone than usual. "Our boss expected you, come inside with us." The clown guards would usually bring along weapons, and would often beat up anyone, but their boss clearly stated that they shouldn't bring any weapons, threaten or beat up the person who would arrive in not too long.

Averill didn't say anything, but his usual weird smile which had returned couldn't help but to curve upwards slightly. Averill was enjoying this too much, he could see the difference between the batman costume lover and the 'boss' of these clowns.

The two clown guards walked back in the garage with Averill right behind them. After they had entered the garage, Averill began walking faster and overtook the two clown guards, he didn't care about them, because he could easily sense where the person he wanted to meet was staying at.

It barely took Averill a few moments before he opened a large old looking door. And when Averill opened the door, he saw what was inside, a bunch of clown guards standing behind a young man sitting on a couch.

The young man had a clown makeup on his face had a large red smile painted on his face with green hair, but Averill could see scars behind the makeup. The green haired clown had a knife in his hand as he stared at Averill with an enormous smile on his face.

"Welcome to my haven, I'm The Joker and I will be your host tonight, ahahah!" The Joker laughed like a madman as he stared into the sharp eyes of Averill who was standing in front of him who was smiling like a maniac.
