The Maniacal General With His Crazy System

"Joker, stop this nonsense!" Hal roared out as he gazed upon the large battlefield which the Joker had created upon Gotham city. Anger could be seen on his face as he stared at Joker, and he wouldn't stand still either, he had to stop Joker as fast as possible.

"Ahaha, I'm way to happy to stop now! Come, come and stop me if you can!" Jack laughed loudly as he gazed upon the destruction he had managed to bring forth. He was using everything and everyone he had in this battle, this was because Averill had told him one thing only – and that was to create as much destruction and confusion as he could. And that was Jack's speciality, bringing forth destruction!

As Hal; more known as Green Lantern came closer towards Jack, the more he felt a sensation of threat to his life. And it was only when Hal was around fifty meters away from Jack that his body froze, and he couldn't move his body any longer.

"If I was you, I would stop and leave right now." Saitama suddenly appeared by Jack's side as he gazed at the man in green clothing and green aura. Saitama's presence couldn't be felt, and he only looked rather weak if anyone would gaze upon him.

But Hal wasn't tricked by the weak presence of Saitama, as he could feel it within his body and bones, that the bald man in front of him was someone that could easily crush him into paste. Yet he couldn't back away when people around the area was being hurt.

"Hey Saitama, that guy is Green Lantern, you think you can handle him? Ahaha, it would be great if you could so I can continue what I'm doing now." Jack continued to laugh as he barely put Green Lantern in his eyes right now, that was because Saitama was here. He might not personally believe in Saitama, but if it was Averill who sent him here, then Saitama should be strong enough to deal with the heroes that would arrive.

Saitama's expression turned from his relaxed one into his more serious expression. He didn't say anything to Jack, but he stepped in front of him, showing that he would protect Jack from Green Lantern.

It didn't take long before Green Lantern came only a few meters away from Saitama, Green Lantern was preparing to attack, but his vision suddenly changed… He felt something on his body before he saw buildings before crashing into them, even after going through an entire building, his body continued crashing into the next building and the one after that one…

Saitama slapped Green Lantern away with as little force he could use, but that small force sent Green Lantern through almost a dozen buildings before hanging on a wall that was cracked. He remembered that Averill told him to injure them, but not kill them, and Saitama did just what Averill had said, he didn't kill Green Lantern, but he was heavily injured.

Jack's mouth went wide open before a crazy laughter sounded out. "Ahahaha! What a great physical strength! Hey Saitama, who's stronger between you and Averill?" Jack's voice does seem to be curious, yet his expression betrayed his tone, because he already knew the answer to his question.

"I haven't fought Averill at his best before. But if you want an answer, think of it like this; if I want Green Lantern to die, he would be dead. And the same goes with Averill, if he wanted me dead, I would be dead." Saitama had only fought against Averill in physical strength once, and every second he gazed at Averill, he could feel that Averill had become physically stronger. But that wasn't all, he knew that Averill could use other types of powers other than his body, like an Esper or magic.

On the other side of town, Laura and Selina was staring at a flying woman that stood in the air in front of them.

Laura had a cold expression showing on her face, though her lips curved upwards into a smirk. "What is with that get-up? You look ridiculous." The mocking tone in her voice could be clearly heard, she had started also mocking others due to wanting to do the same things as Averill.

Wonder Woman raised her eyebrows as she gazed at Catwoman and the woman by her side, she had thought that Catwoman was working alone, but seeing this scene had abruptly changed her mind. The Catwoman in front of her was exhausted and could barely stay awake, Wonder Woman could guess that she was being forced to do this. Forced by the unknown woman who mocked her, Wonder Woman couldn't sense anything from the unknown lady with a cold expression plastered on her face, but she wasn't stupid to think that she wasn't strong.

This was because that lady had somehow forced Catwoman in stealing and provoking others. 'But for what reasons…?' Wonder Woman began thinking of everything she knew, and she quickly came to a conclusion. "All of this is planned, isn't it? Is the Joker involved in this too?" She couldn't help but to think about the battlefield that Joker was creating right now.

"Laura, this woman is Wonder Woman, she's part of the Justice League." Selina was barely able to keep herself awake, but the sight of Wonder Woman woke her up, but for some reason, she wasn't worried. Selina wasn't afraid or worried because she knew how strong Laura was, and if Selina had to guess, Laura would be able to defeat Wonder Woman easily.

Laura shook her head slightly as she muttered. "I am starting to understand Averill, why do people use weird nicknames and foolish costumes? It isn't even funny any longer, just stupid…" Laura wanted to sigh, but she didn't do so.

Both Wonder Woman and Selina heard her quite easily, Selina got a bit shy due to hearing that Laura thought the same as Averill. Whereas Wonder Woman didn't get fl.u.s.tered by what she said, but she focused on one name; Averill. Wonder Woman was able to guess that Laura was a part of the group of three who invaded Batman's home, and Averill should be the leader who was supposed to wear a black military outfit.

"Is the name of your leader; Averill? You may say that my nickname is weird, but your leader has an even weirder name, don't you think so?" Wonder Woman wanted to mock Laura and grin, but before she could even grin, she saw Laura suddenly appearing in front of her eyes, and the expression on Laura was frightening to say the least.

"What did you say!?" Laura roared as she held herself back from killing Wonder Woman on the spot, yet she did punch Wonder Woman on the cheek.

Wonder Woman's cheekbones cracked as she was sent flying backwards, she felt like her body was destroyed by that single punch. She knew it at once, that the strength that the group was much more deadlier than she could ever think of, and if they wanted to defeat Laura, Averill and the bald man, they would need to go together and they may even need the help of Superman and other heroes.
