As Averill saw that Harleen was in a deep pondering state, he picked her up before he walked through the portal. When he stepped through the portal, he was inside one of the many rooms in the mansion.

Averill first placed Harleen on a chair as she still hadn't left her pondering state and he then placed Selina on the bed in the corner of the room. He was able to sense that she had lost her consciousness due to lack of sleep, yet her body was still in a traumatic behaviour as her body was trembling and twitching every single moment. Not enough with that, Averill saw her face in a deep frown and tears running down her cheeks.

"…" For the first time in a very long time, Averill was speechless and didn't know what to say or think. Yet his body and mouth moved by itself. His eyebrows furrowed slightly, his eyes went slightly sharper as he gazed at the many wounds on her body. "Why do I feel like this? I am disappointed in you for being weak, it was your fault for being caught and tortured, yet why? Why do I feel this unknown emotion inside of me?" Averill mumbled in a natural tone, it wasn't soothing nor did it have any kind of emotion in it.

Harleen had finally managed to get out of her dazed state after hearing what Averill had just mumbled, she stood up from the chair and spoke in a calm voice to him. "It is because you care for her… Even for how little she was with you, she is one of your people, isn't she? She is your soldier. No matter how disappointed you will be in her, you won't abandon her, or would you?"

After watching the new memory of Averill, Harleen seemed to have a newfound knowledge about him. It might not be much, but it is better than nothing.

The more she found out about Averill, the more her feelings for him grew. The feelings she had for him was a wide variety of emotions that she was slowly uncovering herself too. And Harleen knew a few of her feelings for him; respect for his attitude, she mourns for his limited ability of expressing himself, she is saddened by his lack of humanity, and… she loves him.

Even Harleen was unsure of why she loves Averill, but there was something that was drawing her nearer to him. The more she was with him, the more she felt like that she wouldn't be able to live a life without him. That it would be meaningless to go on without being able to be by his side.

Averill would have usually refuted what Harleen said about these things, but just for once, he didn't refute her. It wasn't entirely because he believed her words, but it was because he wasn't able to understand it himself and he wouldn't make a fool of himself by being stubborn. And the newest memory of his past had shown him something, something he didn't know could be true.

He thought that he was hated by everyone in his previous life, yet he found out that wasn't true. He had people that would die for him and that were loyal to him. That could mean only one thing in Averill's perspective, that he wasn't a person who would only care about himself…

After having thought over the situation for a few more brief moments, Averill placed his hand on top of Selina's head which made her flinch, yet he didn't move his hand away. A green light appeared beneath his palm which entered inside of Selina.

Selina's body was enveloped in a bright green light. Selina who was lost in her dark and cold consciousness, felt something warm for the first time in many days. It not only did feel warm, yet it also felt comfortable and safe. Selina could see something shining in the darkness she was in, and the only thing she wanted was to hug that thing to feel more of the warmth that seemed to protect her from the darkness, the cold and the pain.

It happened in a brief moment, that Selina hugged the body of Averill tightly. Averill's face froze for a mere moment, but he didn't push her away as she was still injured badly. But that didn't stop him for continuing what he wanted to do, he kept on pushing the green light inside of her body and he opened his mouth and moved his lips, but no voice escaped his mouth.

That was because, somewhere far away, a person actually heard his voice.

"A portal will appear in front of you in around three days. Continue going forward, because the moment you go through the portal, you will feel refreshed." Averill's voice was clear and soothing, yet there was a hint of something else deep within it, but that person who heard his voice didn't care about that.

That person kept on moving faster throughout the universe, no, to be more specific, that person began moving even faster.

"It seems like my time is limited, I need to grow stronger and faster…!" Laura's body couldn't even be seen as she travelled the universe in a speed faster than the light, she had finally managed to break through and move faster than light. And the moment she did that, she felt like there was much more to discover than light, that there was something beyond that!

Averill lips moved once again, and his voice was only heard by someone else that was in another pocket of domain than this universe. "You are limited to three days, show me what you can do at that time."

Saitama who was currently fighting a clone of Averill which he had fought on the first they met suddenly heard Averill's voice enter his ear. Saitama who was previously being pushed back slightly suddenly roared as he fought even harder till the point he was pushing back the clone of Averill.

"AVERILL, I will show you what I am made of!" Saitama bellowed out as he punched Averill a thousand meter away before he stepped on the air and ran on the air itself before he punched the clone of Averill to the ground with all of his might.

The moment the clone of Averill fell to the ground in defeat, Saitama bellowed yet again in a loud voice. "COMEON, I want to face two clones of the Averill I faced on our first meeting!"

And some meters above of Averill, two clones of Averill appeared as they gazed at Saitama. And Saitama wasn't a man who would back down from a fight, he glared right back at them without any fear.
